Jason, I'll admit I haven't seen your videos on the channel before. But when I saw that there was a video for Ierusalem, I knew I had to watch it. I"m also a believer, and I knew I would enjoy this game thematically, but I have really struggled with the rulebook and other video explanations of the game. This video game me a clear enough understanding of the mechanics--at least for the solo mode (which is is how I'll likely play it most often)--so that I can revisit the rulebook. Thanks for the video. It's good to see another believer in the hobby.

It's nice to see Ierusalem on this channel, I don't have this game but I am curious and solo playthroughs videos are what the game needs :)

Awesome video. Now that I've seen the Solo mode, I think I'll like it. Planning to get it more for multi player but can always play solo when I want. We have a decent mix of believers and non believers in our group and I can't wait to see some of the discussion's after the game.

Thanks Jason. What do you think about solo? Worth it?

A bit of a mixed bag for me, overall. I recorded a pod with Liz Davison and Dan Thurot about it, which will post soon.

Keep spreading those seeds Jason! Great explanation and play though! Quick question: do you know of any good games for believers that don’t take such a historical approach but involve more faith teachings? Thanks!

Thanks for checking it out! Unfortunately, there aren’t many games that are both good and non-historical Christian. Commissioned comes close since it stays fairly close to the Book of Acts, but that’s all I know of.

Quite an interesting game and one I will keep an eye out but I am really looking forward to Deliverance from Lowan Games which will be out in a few months!

      Deliverance...
Is that the game where Peter and Paul play duelling banjos? lol

I get the theme of followers wanting to be close to Jesus. No problem with that.
However, you said that the Last Supper was historical. We only have the gospels word for the events.
There may have been a last supper, it may even have been held to celebrate the Passover.
But okay, not a big deal and I ain't gonna die on that green hill with out a city wall*. lol
A bigger issue I have with the components is the choice of Depicting *Christ* in Majesty, rather than Jesus.
This takes Jesus out of the historical and into Christ Risen and Ascended.
I don't recall the gospels saying anything about Jesus being the ruler of the earth at the Last Supper.
This I find a rather strange choice.
Is there any doctrinal reason I'm missing here?
*Edit: Opening line to the hymn sung in my childhood, "There is a Green Hill Far Away".
    (The hill being Calvary)
May be too old and staid a hymn popular in the Church of England for you young American whippersnappers to get the reference! lol
