    Wow on the first pull
    Amazing

      I know right!
Sometimes I nonchalantly start random 2 stroke yard tools in a single pull when people walk by my house.
For some reason I have no friends……
      😂

That "third hole" on the gasket didn't line up for you because you have the gasket reversed. Flip it and it'll all line up. Notice the edges of the gasket; they should conform to the shape of the carburetor block. In your video, you can see that the edges of the gasket don't align with the edge of the carburetor block. That's the telltale sign that you have the gasket reversed. Oops! (It almost happened to me, too.)

I have a Ryobi CS26 and the carburator has been replaced already and still the same behaviour! I going to try your last recommendation. Let's see if it's solved!

I changed my carburetor, spark plug, took off the screen and it was still bogging down when i would rev it up. That was like 6 or 7 years ago and I just had it in my shed ever since, just gave up on it and bought a battery operated one. I miss my gas one since it was so much stronger. Well tonight I took it out and cleaned it up real good. I noticed my primer hose was pretty far down there so I pulled it up and now I need to go get some gas and see what happens. Crossing my fingers it works.

Hi Sask - my problem is fuel leaking at the connection between the fuel pipes and the tank? Seems the yellow / translucent pipes are smaller than the holes in the tank. Any thoughts / fixes ?

Fuel lines for these trimmers come in different sizes. You might have the wrong sized fuel line.

What about the original hose before you replace the carburetor . I dont understand how the hose could cause the bogging down

When I finally finished fixing the weed eater; I was having the same issues as when I started. At this point, I put the project on hold and took a step back to consider what was going on. (It had to be something simple I was overlooking)
I literally woke up in the middle of the night and had the thought the return hose was too far into the fuel tank; the next day I trimmed the return line to an inch and bing, bang, boom it ran like a champ!
Now, was this the problem all along? No, remember I changed everything related to the carburetor. But this could be something to check first!

why would you use needle nose to put that in will slide in use the coat hanger again to pull the line up cut the end of the line on a angle it will go right in the square it off member the top line goes to the feed back on the tank
