Bro no cap, you the MOST UNbias reaction channel out...when ever folks favorite band get some criticism they holla bias. I knew you wasn't being bias once you put on them glasses to help you hear better😂😂😂😂....keep putting out Unbiased content my boy🙏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Boom took this, volume alone wont save you. #Oceanofsoul
Southern fkd around and found out that JSU can modulate their Power and invoke Clarity and Variability. Southern totally underestimated thee Sonic BOOM of the South!
JSU won both!! I’m a southern head!! I feel like southern needs to down size there band and focus on musicianship and rebuild each section next year!! If you look back in 2000-2005 they were small and powerful and had more technique! You can clearly tell which songs SU was comfortable playing! Cause that “Thank God “ I seen 15 baritones, whole mello section and trumpet screams come there
Here’s my theory: over the past two or three seasons I’ve noticed something the Boom has been doing as far as instrumentation that’s gone largely unnoticed. Has anyone else paid attention to how they’ve been writing arrangements to allow the piccolos to support the trumpets? I thought I was going crazy at first, but I’m not! Lol maybe I just pay attention to it as a piccolo player myself. Listen closely to some of their arrangements again. That full soprano sound is also being supported by a very strong piccolo section. Grossly underrated advantage and a great move by the band staff. It doesn’t mean TrumpFunk isn’t great (because they are!) but woodwind support is underrated and necessary.
That's a fact though me and one of my guys was talking about this yesterday. They can trust their woodwinds to support and especially the pic section and they never fail to deliver. So having that strong pic section with an add strong trumpet section the songs become more fuller in the soprano area.
SBOTS with the win💯💯💯SU needs to be more balanced. Almost every arrangement SU band does centers around trumpets, trombones & tubas. Other sections are non-existent. JSU was blowing with less instruments. In my opinion, these are two of the best HBCU bands and JSU took this one. However, I'm sure when SU comes to Jackson next year they will try and redeem themselves and I'm looking forward to it, but for 2023 the SBOTS reigns supreme.💙🤍💙🤍
When Southern played the Tamia they had a tempo issue going into the chorus from what I heard? They were grooving at first then somehow they hit the gas
Round 1 - Tie (Technical) Round 2 - JSU Round 3 - JSU (JSU Grooved Frfr) Round 4 - JSU (SU no nasty back) Round 5 - JSU Round 6 - Tie (both played the same song to their perspective styles)
I give that last round to su, jsu was sounding a lil scuffed at the end, and southern brought out that energy. but jsu took this for sure overall, southern was sleep the whole game + the 5th
About time someone was honest. Some people get tangled up with su being loud but when you actually listen you can always catch some bs with su. Jsu sound damn good
It's the clarity and arrangements for me. Big up Sonic Boom @!!
Jackson got it. They had entertainment value, arrangements, and they executed.

You’re right! They had tempo issues and those trumpets were tearing up songs.
Whooooaaaaaaaw!😮 I have damaged hearing from the military and I still could smell shitty notes 😂😂😂😂😂😂

You’re spot on as a musician. The Boom was more polished they executed very well.

Yes yes yes and I love it
YES!!!! Their piccolos have been WONDERFUL!! soooo happy to see that others have noticed the shift!
Historically that's always been the case for Da Boom...its like that in all of our arrangements...crab 02 TF

They're going to say Jackson needs some trumpets I'm so tired of hearing that I don't know what to do
That's their favorite excuse when SU is losing cuz SU Trumpets ain't do shit at the boombox
@@DajournoTFRico still tries to pull the no trumpet excuse even tho jsu trumpets are better than su .
