Not trying to be messy but. I think if you would have stuck UAPB in the middle of that High school Botb for Bayou Classic between Abe, Carver, Craigmont and that other school. UAPB would have not come out of that sounding like they were the more mature college band.

I think UAPB have the worse blend of trumpets and mellos that i've ever heard from a band. which is saying a lot because i love a trumpet and mello collaborative part. I just have never heard those 2 instruments blend together to sound so umm,, unpleasant is the word i'll use. particularly on that Whitney Houston's I have Nothing. Which i will also say is almost an abomination sound so unpleasant on such a song. That was the most highest selling soundtrack from a female artist in American history if i'm not mistaking. You just don't half a$$ a song like that. On a side note. Mellos are my favorite instrument. Because i love the sound of mellos, i do cut them slave because i love their sound. However. I never thought i would ever say this. But i hate the sound and tone of Uapb's mellos on that Whitney Houston. They somehow make their mellos sound very unmello. it was a terrible sound

Pinebluff didn't have bad songs. It's just their delivery was terrible in some, well, a lot of spots and they couldn't hit their target in others.

I feel a lot of times most of the marching band reaction videos are listening for mistakes first and enjoying the music second … You rarely see them vibe or feeling the music it’s like they’re listening with a critical ear to find mistakes. Just my observation from watching overtime. I must admit this commentary was funny🤣😆😂 though.
