@@Playzroar Oh, I haven't been at Yonsei in over a year! I left in June of last year :') But, I have to say, I loved it so much. I met so many great people and learned so much. I highly recommend going if you're still in college and interested in studying abroad!

Hi! I have a small Q. How was your quarantine experience (the mandatory gov. quarantine and if there was any quarantine imposed by CIEE)? I'm considering applying to the program but I'm worried about how many days early I should book my flight if I get in. Also, let's say the program started on Aug.22, does that mean one would have to be out of quarantine before that day? P.S. Your videos have been so helpful and fun! Learning about your experience has been very educational! :)
Hi! If you are going to study abroad through a third party program, they will give you all the information about quarantining before classes at Yonsei begin. If you are applying straight to Yonsei, find out what day classes begin and then book a flight 14-15 days prior. I'm sure Yonsei is still providing quarantine options within their dorm buildings. If you decide to go that route, then Yonsei will send you information regarding checking into your room/quarantine procedure/etc. If you want be safe, get out of quarantine the day before classes begin! I really hope this helps you!! Wishing you a safe and memorable trip if you decide to go to Korea!

It’s so convenient because right when you get to Korea you go straight to the dorm room you will be in for the rest of the semester (also it’s a lot cheaper than most other quarantine options) I believe it’s about $600 USD for the 2 weeks (not including meals) but they have a channel where you can order inexpensive food. If you are planning to quarantine outside of the dorm, I’d check with Yonsei to see if they will let you into your dorm room a day early. But most likely you will have to find an Airbnb or hotel room for one night if you get out of quarantine early ):

Hi! Good question! You can stay out all night and spend the night at your friends house, the only thing you have to do is sign out at the front desk... OR do what I did and sign out through your phone!! All you will have to do is sign into your Yonsei housing portal on your phone and select the option that says "staying out" or something like that (I don't quite remember). All I know is that Yonsei isn't very strict on this either. I hope this helps!

Hey! I've made a packing video on my channel if you want to check that out! Yes, they did provide a comforter, fitted sheet, and pillow. You should bring sheets and a towel!! They don't give you a towel and it is super helpful to have during quarantine lol. Have a great time at Yonsei and make the most of your time there!

Good question! No curfew but if you plan on going on a small trip outside of Seoul or are spending the night out you have to log it on your housing portal account. You also have the option of signing the log-out sheet in the lobby!! I hope this helps you! 😁

For an exchange student its not that high, I think the minimum GPA is 2.5 out of a 4-point scale. If you apply directly to the university, the GPA minimum is much higher since it is such a prestigious school.
