Yes Ile.. the holiday is over.. though I had this one written and 60 percent recorded before I left. I was itching to get back and finish it off. Lots of lyric ideas on holiday that now need music.. about 4 possible new songs in there I reckon. Will need to slow production though as it was slightly nuts pre holiday. Glad you enjoyed the new music. I don't suppose aill ever write a tune that will de throne your favourite... Dog on a Wide Freeway... maybe one day. 😊

Trying something different.... the guitar solo I kept doing and doing, and wrecked it. Next day I just played one take.. and it was done... classic case of trying too hard initially and not getting in the flow :)

John, I absolutely loved the riffs in the intro, and then the lyrics grabbed me! Finally, the lead guitar solo at the end is powerful! Excellent! A wonderful video, too.
Thanks so much Joe! I wanted that guitar solo at the end to be like a long goodbye, to really take over where the voice left off. It really needed to carry the song to new heights without words for 2 and a half minutes. I tried real hard for a day - playing over and over and it came out crap. Next day I came at it fresh.. just played through in a one take as a warm up and then it just fell into place :)
