hey mike can you share a video of hooking up drill seeder to air cart from scratch , if you dont already have one, thanks for sharing im really enjoying watching you and playing my farm sim lol
I think there are beneficial fungus and bacteria seed treatments that allow plants to take up more nutrients while also serving as a protection against harmful fungi and disease, since the plants' roots are already colonized with beneficial microorganisms that is in symbiotic relationship with the plant
I bet that 20 mile journey seemed very quick when you can literally fly straight as a crow compared to driving along the road, thats a great time efficient way to travel. 😀

Hey Mike, where did you get your fertilizer screen for the conveyor? Did you order one from bourgault or did you have one made? Is it 3/8” or 1/2”? Thanks and good luck seeding!
It needs to be studied how a person can start out seeding and forget pretty much everything when it comes to the monitors and remotes but by the time your done you can do it in your sleep.
Mike use an old cell phone or tablet for xtend, much easier than running up to the tractor a bunch of times for calibration. Edit- im running a 91300 right now, you still need to calibrate an initial number if you havent run the product before. After that you can punch in the cal factor if you still trust it, then the drill will auto cal for you since nothing is every really the same year to year etc
That is all good if the extend feature works back by the drill. For us it is a hit and miss situation. Sometimes we swear if the tractor is not lined up right, it doesn’t work. Would be nice if Bourgeault set up an actual wifi box or whatever it is back by the controls on the drill.
Haha everytime I use that Xtend, it loses signal half way through 🤦🏻♂️😆 And regarding the 9000 series, sounds great but I do have trust issues with equipment 😆🤷🏼♂️

Hi Mike, As a German farmer, I'm wondering how you lime your soil? Do you increase the pH value only through the fertilizer you apply with the drills or do you apply lime to the fields yourself? I would be happy if you could help me here. Thank you very much and kind regards
Just program your A button to go into calibration mode then you don’t have to run your the Tracter to turn it. It’s very simple to set up on your monitor
Mike I heard dropping the scale was the way to calibrate it. I felt it every time you smacked your noodle. Please stop doing that it hurts. Safety 1st mandatory pink strap-ob bump caps .
Mike maybe I don't remember correctly but I am quite sure that when you started your channel you didn't farm this much separately as you do now. I know that you all had your separate equipment but I think you were ordering seed, selling grain etc.. together, didn't you?
That's true to a degree, I didn't sell any grain but I did all the inputs for everyone. We still had our own equipment and land as normal but seeded in two teams every year. Due to the fact I am gone alot more for the north farm, I now only farm my own ground down here and I still over see the input/chem side of of things for everyone else. My work load and responsibilities haven't really changed, they just shifted to my own vs everyone's.
Hi Mike, I have never noticed any lime application (to make the soil less acidic from NPKs) on your farm. Do you do that at all or does your NPK dosage doesn't change the soil pH that much?

Hey Mike, let's see some details on that Deere with big triples I noticed in the opening min or 2
There are previous videos of that JD 9620R, he sold it to his dad, that tractor came from the North farm. 😉
There is definitely a lot to know about the equipment you guys have on the farm.
Very nice landing!
Massively impressive outfits
Best of luck for the season

I'm kinda excited to see how those Case Ih 580s do with seeding this year.
