@@Raltze_ i dont know how it works in other countries, but we've got a distinction between actors and voice actors. A few actors might do voicing here and there, but most of them do not. And there aren't many dub studios around here which brings a lack of voice actors. To add up to the point, it's also a kinda elitist job, so movies and cartoons rather get rewarded people to do it instead of newcomers.
I imagine Goku battered and bruised after defeating the 29,999,999,999th Spongebob. He falls to his knees, coughs blood, his vision is blurred. The SpongeBobs’ bodies litter the surrounding area, the one he just defeated lies in a mulched puddle beneath him.
Goku has sustained irreversible, life changing damage, the kind no anime BS can save him from. Regardless of a sensu bean or zenkai boost, he will always be somewhat debilitated from this battle.
He drops on to his all fours, he is dizzy as tries to focus on the sand and dirt between his fingers. Finally, Goku drops on to his front and starts to choke on the blood in his mouth and nose, he arranges himself into the recovery position before he slowly starts to fall unconscious. He will survive these wounds if he can just lay there enough to gather some of his energy back.
There is still hope. There is always a glimmer of hope until a single, unwelcome sound found itself inside Goku’s ear. From far away at first, but getting closer. It was the squeak of little black shoes, the kind where the wearer had performed the loop-dee-loop and pull and the shoes were looking cool. The 30,000,000,000th spongebob…

Something worth noting is both characters emotions. Goku is typically calm in fights. Scary calm. This has been used in the series multiple times to show that in battle he's a completely different person, He's collected, intelligent, and ever learning in every exchange of blows.
SpongeBob however, Is a completely different beast. If he hits a wall and cant get through it, he just slams himself on it harder and harder, despite the injury's he sustains. The longer a battle goes on to more frustrated, erratic, and unpredictable he becomes. To the point that he also becomes a different person. A person who looses that ever forgiving winning smile, and instead crakes open Ol' Reliable out of her case.

I don't see why getting punched over and over would have any effect on him. And, no normal sponge can soak up the entire ocean, so he's not just any sponge.

Toon force is rarely an argument in power scaling, other than it being pretty lame it oftentimes doesn’t prove anything without the author outright stating the character bypasses all causality as a result of plot armor / toon force / gag trope
Spongebob is one of the most self aware and op characters. You know how in-between scenes there is a bubble transition that goes from the bottom of the screen, to the top? Well, Spongebob needed to tell Mr Krabs something very urgent. So, Spongebob literally hopped on the transition wall and ride it up to the Krusty Krab right in front of Mr Krabs. The funniest part, is that Mr Krabs has absolutely zero clue how Spongebob just materialized right in front of him.

I love the absolute candid respect everyone has for spongebob. We are all taking this seriously in the sense that spongebob has actual feats. The only 1v1 character battles that just support the characters without shitting on either has to be any battle with spongebob.
Y'all are thick for taking this seriously. SpongeBob can't actually do any of this, as it's not part of his character; it's not how he's written. He can do funny stuff for jokes - so can anyone in Bikini Bottom - but he doesn't have super powers. He's a normal guy. There's actually a fun rarity with how Goku and SpongeBob work that makes me willing to say both 1) these two would definitely be best buddies, not "bloodlusted," and 2) this absolutely would not stop them from fighting.

You know Goku is gonna ask SpongeBob to fight at his strongest and force the little demon to unleash his "god mode" gifted to him by OG King Neptune. But if we go by Dragon Ball logic, SpongeBob will have like 5 different forms; each eclipsing the last in some way or completely
@@blackshogun272 idk, Sandy and SpongeBob fight on fairly even footing all the time and the world hasn't been destroyed yet, so SpongeBob is clearly capable of fighting powerful opponents without endangering the planet should he choose. And Goku wouldn't necessarily goad SpongeBob into going all out from the start, it's very normal in Dragon Ball to start out holding back and have each fighter slowly ramp up how hard they're fighting (pulling out progressively higher forms and such), so he'd be fine with SpongeBob gradually amping up alongside him, and if SpongeBob can beat him at less than full power he'd accept it. But they're both capable of destroying the universe so their clash might do so as well, it's tough to say. SpongeBob might even destroy the universe just on a lark.

And to make things even more crazy, technically it's in the comics in which someone like patchy(or the other pirate from the movie and live humas at the beach) should view as fiction. giving that in the movie, spongebob can interact with those guys, this should make him at least 11th dimensional
