I recently made one of these from another tutorial & I don't like how it was done. I came across your tutorial last night & it is amazing. Just made my first one using an elastic band like you did. For the last row I did a back stitch in each stitch so the stitches won't stretch as the area of the fidget will be well used. Thank you so very much from this Canadian gal.......

As a beginner, I can’t do double crochets very consistently like this, is there anyway you could modify the pattern to work with single crochet stitches instead? Thanks 🙏 😅
