I’m relatively new to the hair styling game and found that clays seemed to be really popular with those with thick, wavy, medium length hair like mine so tried 2 (clutch XL and Don Juan hand clay made - I like them both a lot and I think most people who use clays have no problem with a little tug), but I personally don’t like any tug at all so I’m really glad you reviewed this one.

I gotta say Hustle is awesome and I actually love the scent as it's very clean, but unfortunately I didn't like the scent of Crafted Matte Clay as it doesn't match with the quality of other products from The Salon Guy brand and it actually smells like a new book when you smell it or something like that (I apologize if this is weird😂), but that doesn't mean I will not be using it as it's not that bad it just smells okay 😁

Because it falls pretty frequently and requires fixing/restyling. Edit: sorry I just realized I’m an idiot and thought this comment was on a different video lol 😂 Anyway, Hustle is a medium because while it does hold up well, it still allows for some natural flowiness and movement, so as a result it will slightly fall or break down throughout the day. Keep in mind there are loads of costs involved with making these products. If I used cheap low grade ingredients and production then things may be different. For what it’s worth, that was offered to me but I said I wanted to not cheapen them and keep a high standard. Every brand is different. Some can afford glass and crazy packaging, but I get a comment like this once every so often which I take with a grain of salt. I just wanted to share my feedback. @@TheSalonGuy I don't have a problem with the clay packaging. Tin does dent but doesn't impact anything for me. If I had to nitpick packaging its the the non-discreet shipping box when ordering from your website(the giant Salon guy sticker on the side of the box). Unfortunately its becoming more of a common practice for companies to place advertising on their boxes when shipping but it's a practice thats quite annoying. I just wish I could order everything in a more discreet manner. I've had gifts ruined because of this. Luckily some companies like Apple ship discreetly but its not from the goodness of their heart.... they are forced to because people would be targeting boxes with $1000+ items in them.

What exactly makes you think that because I like his products that that makes these particular reviews dishonest? I greatly enjoy plenty of other brands too, and make it known in my reviews of them. Does that mean I’m biased about all those too, and that they all pay me? Do you shitpost the same comments on the videos of all those guys who love and stand by other brands like Blumaan, ByVilain, Lockharts or whomever? You need to realize that reviews by their nature are opinions, based on performance. That’s literally what reviews are for. 🤷🏻‍♂️ And yes, we’re all entitled to our own opinions. But how you gonna have a real opinion on a product if you’ve never actually tried it yourself? 🤔
