Hey, Matt. If you had to compare -- Gerson & Co Orchid Texture Paste & Ascension Texture Clay -- on hold and endurance, which one wohld you recommend? Would highly appreciate your honest opinion on this. Thanks!
You’re back! I’ve been looking at this product cause my hair is sooo straight and need that texture, was a little worried about the overpowering smell but you said it doesn’t last very long once in the hair?
@@mmcweight8827 Ah yes, the “force yourself to be someone else, it will make you feel better and definitely won’t negatively impact your mental health” big brain train of thought lmao. Alternative idea: do whatever the fuck you want. I hope you find that for yourself one day 😘
Great review as always. Will definitely try this out. Great charisma man.I was thinking about getting reuzel matte clay pomade. Is it similar to apothecary 87 clay pomade? And do you like reuzel products? Respect your honesty so thought I would ask.
Thanks! I haven't tried any Reuzel stuff myself actually, so I'm not sure. A87 clay pomade though for me can be pretty greasy/shiny, so something to watch out for.
I am going to buy shear revival's gray ghost and american garden....so i have question...is gray ghost a pomade or a styling cream? Because i dont like super shiny products...and what about the dryness and hold of american garden.....??
I have reviews on each of those on the channel. Grey Ghost is a pomade, but has low shine. I really liked that one. American Gardens is VERY matte and dry and did not work great for me.
@@TDMStyle i have wavy hair like you,but not so thick nor thin hair...i want to buy a clay...i just ordered shear revival Northern lights matte paste, and i will get the paste maybe tommorow..but i want to buy a clay later....so which clay i should buy?
@@PSLSlayers I’m a big fan of OB clays. Love Grand Classic Texture Balm and Fuertes! I really like this Ascention too though. Super light, but great texture and control.
Great video as always Matt! I have pretty much the exact same hair type as you so I honestly value your input more than anyone out there. Also, I was surprised to see you don’t have any reviews on Grim Grease products. The owner has somewhat similar hair to us and it really shines through in the performance. Can’t recommend it enough if you haven’t tried some of their stuff out already.
Come on! Where is the video on your thoughts of David Tennant back on DW?!? LOL I started watching your videos because of your tenth doctor hair guide. I know you have feeling about him being back.
Happy New Year, friendos
Happy new year Matt! Glad to see a vid from you.
Happy new year!
When you are doing a review of shear revival crystal lake?
Great video! Was wondering how this compares to Templeton Tonics Oasis? Thanks!

Hey I was wondering if you new of a good pomade that natural and not greasy . I’m looking to do a 1920s side part or slick back look
Hey Matt-
Can you suggest a medium hold- medium shine water based product?
Thanks!

For sure, the scent isn’t crazy strong and I don’t really smell it anymore once I’m done styling.
@@TDMStyle please try to be normal force it even though it's not who u are. u will feel better. this nail polish isn't a good look

would love to see a review on oil based clay Byrd clay
Any recommendation for a low shine good hold pomade ?
I got this coming in mail, excited to hear your thoughts. I am a sucker for presentation, this jar looks goooooood.
Dude right, I love the art!
what kind of styling brush do you use when blowdrying your hair?
I usually start with a paddle brush while rough drying, and then switch to a round brush for styling. Same stuff I use in my blow drying tutorials

Hey Matt, could you do a review on Templeton Tonic's Grizzly Matte Paste please ☺️
If compared to oasis clay? Which one u prefer the most?
Dude idk man I haven’t used Oasis in forever and haven’t tried the latest formula.
@@TDMStyle then it deserves a review from you then 😅😁
That label looks sick! This sounds like a pretty promising clay 👍

i am using Shear Revival Northern Lights for a few days.....and as you said in your review "fucking bomb dude"
Wait, did you not drop the jar even once?
Surprisingly not! Lmao
