how can i fet a tone like his from a strat it sound thick yet clear he has amazing tone and hes a good player hppl say he has no feel, well i do not know what they are talking about
@iggypoprulez You didn't understand anything about my comment....I truly love Malmsteen and his playing....I'm a big fan of his music, probably much more than you. I also play his stuff with my band (I'm a Lead guitarist)....I've just said that he didn't invent sweep picking technique.....sweeps were used already back in 70s(obviously not in the Yngwie-arpeggio-style)...
It depends on what is counted in "better?" Playing fast or making music that people love. I wonder really who is better? Just my humble opinion. And yes I like Ynwie's playing also. Maybe one day he will write his own "Smoke on the water"...
