This album tells the story of my last few years. Each song (in the order) exactly reflects my decisions and their consequences. I was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, the root cause of my internal war with demons. For 35 years, I had no idea that something was silently destroying my mental health and my relationships with loved ones. I believed stress and an overload of responsibilities were to blame for my struggles. It turned out to be a somatic issue. Unfortunately, the diagnosis came too late. The illness had already caused significant damage to my brain, leading to the development of defensive habits that haunt me to this day. These habits push me toward bad decisions. Now I have to work really hard to fix myself… When the album was released, I was shocked. Even after two years, I still can’t understand how Placebo describe my life in theirs songs with such precision… It touched me more deeply than anything ever has before. I think it’s the kind of thing that can happen only once in a lifetime.

This song didn’t immediately grab my attention when the new album was released, but wow, it really hit me when I saw it performed live. I saw them live in November 2022 at Brixton, London, again in July 2024 at Shepherd’s Bush, London, and once more in August 2024. I hope it makes it onto the setlist for future concerts.
