this is just impressive. And I can't even add an image as plane in the timeline to edit it as a layer! You are a real artist, Shenuka! Your videos are so inspiring! Support from Italy!
I have zero knowledge in digital drawing & blender, however, I've decided to follow solely on your video to pick up these new skills and look forward to the artwork learning from your videos!
this is soooo cool, i love all the little details!! I've been kinda burned out on blender because of a project i worked on, but this makes me want to get back into it and try something new :D
You're awesome guys! Seriously why didn't I find out about you sooner. Well, anyway, keep up the good work. If Sculpting and Compositing are also possible then please make a tutorial.
I feel like at the beginning of a drawing I'm always torn between drawing on some over layer like this, or hand drawing directly onto my "objects." The former feels easier to some degree but the latter gives some fun flexibility if you decide to change directions...I guess it depends what you need out of the image/project.
I don't don't what I'm doing, but I thought I saw a video where they simply converted a shape, like a cube, to grease pencil. I think the edges an faces can be given a different color to create an outline. If this is true, you'd remove the need to trace.
Oh man! Excellent work! I have a question. What is the purpose of drawing the white rectangle to draw on with lower opacity? Couldn't you draw over it without the white rectangle? Anywho Great work!!
It looks very nice. I am learning Blender now, prob this is silly but I am not able to draw the white rectangular to draw over, nothing happens when I draw it. Can you explain how to, please? Also is there anything else to know to draw directly on the white rectangular after I manage to draw it?
I enjoyed watching your vid ! Please produce more videos like this Your vids reminds me of oli mueller. His content is like kienanlafferty mixed with sycra You should visit his channel #FreeOliMueller

Definitely! It's a personal preference or situational requirement at the end of the day :)
Thank you. Adding a grease pencil object as canvas is a great idea. Makes it so much easier than trying to draw on the 3D object.
Yup! It helps a lot :)

When will you make complete facial riging tutorial
We're focusing on mainly 2D centric projects right now, but we'll soon be branching back into 3D so stick around!
Amazing! Would you be interested in making some tutorials for grease pencil? Some usability tips and tricks? :)

you can always convert geometry to greesepencil object and add noise modifier to save time :)

It looks great and almost like some of the older Disney shows and cartoons
