The song was allowed to flow naturally the way it wanted to go and that made it the most unique and beautiful song I've heard in YEARS.

Halazia i just a masterpiece. You definitely have to react to Guerrilla, Say My Name, Answer, Wonderland, Inception, Thanxx and The Real Songs that are "ballads" and perhaps not many know but they are a work of art: Turbulence, Take me Home, Cyberpunk and New World.
I will never forget when these mfs just started a live direct in the abandoned mall where they filmed the mv and there were nobody but the rain and each 10 minutes the bell just sounded and scared us like a horror game 🤣 then they deleted the live, but some atinys recorded it, you can searching like "I've seen it. Will you?"

This song is battling for first place as my favorite ateez song and tbh, all time favorite kpop song. The production, the story in the lyrics, the visuals of the mv, it's all so beautiful and you can tell how much hard work went into it. I'm so upset it didn't get as popular as their other songs even though it did do very well when it released. It's haunting, it's despair, but also anger, frustration, and desperation and by the end its determination. Like the lyrics "No more, keep your soul. No more, keep control" It's taking matters into your own hands after waiting so long for a saving grace. I love this song so much. The other songs fighting for #1 are Guerrilla and Answer, with Answer currently at the top spot. I'd say definitely react to that and also react to their Kingdom Legendary War performance of Answer because it elevates that song to a whole other level. I'll give a warning to the Kingdom performance because i think it does get blocked on youtube whenever others react to it, and the kingdom performances go INSANE, so you can't say i didn't warn you. I feel like with ATEEZ it's impossible to warn you except as a whole: ATEEZ is crazy, amazing, incredible, cinematic, and will _always, always_ surprise you. This was the song and the point in their lore/history where things... changed. This isn't even technically a title track, it's like a side album title track that advances lore and is necessary, but without being a full-on album or EP. It had this song, 3 remixes and an outro, and it became a group benchmark. They sold bizillions of copies of it (relative to the time, since surpassed), released it hours before the end of the year, promoted it like crazy and yet not, and had pre-release things that had fans watching a barely moving screen for THIRTY MINUTES looking for changes and forming theories about what they'd seen. It was ... insane. And then they drop this, and it was worth every one of those eerie 30 minutes. They are truly unsurpassed in how they're doing their thing. Annnd Yeosang's deep voice came out of nowhere on this track, blowing us away. Halazia is my queen. She came in like a thief during the night and robbed Say My Name of its crown. ... I recommend their lighter stuff for summer, like Wave, Illusion, Dreamers (no Mingi, sadly), and Eternal Sunshine, because I think you need a break from the deep stuff that makes ya feel things.
I'm editing because you want warnings:😅 I'd say next Answer, Guerrilla (it's kind of intense fyi), and Wonderland (anthem). After that maybe The Real, Inception, and Deja Vu if you haven't seen them yet. (They're mostly fun or showing off their sexy side.) For their Japanese songs I'd recommend "Not Okay" for sure, and their collabs with BE: FIRST, "Hush Hush" and "Royal". (Not Okay is intense, fyi. Royal doesn't have a full video, just lyrics. Hush Hush is a lot but fun.)

Halazia was the Ateez song that hooked me. I had heard their song Paradigm before, and liked it, but when Halazia came out and I clicked on it on a whim, I was instantly obsessed and absolutely hooked. It is unpredictable and hauntingly beautiful. It still is my 2nd favourite Ateez even though I've heard the entire discography, which by the way, not a single skip. Empty Box just recently beat out Halazia for me as my number 1.

I got into Ateez this . year after a friend recommended me. I had some immediate favorites and fell in love . What I love about them is thier music has so many different genres and no matter how old the music still stands undated. They perform it with just as much energy as the new music. They are true performers and once I watched them at Coachella and also their Dingo im like wow these guys are some of the few in kpop alongside bts that lives music is BETTER. how . They truly perform.
What i love so much about ateez’s music is that the music/sound is as much a part of the story as lyrics and the images in the video. Everything works in concert together to evoke the emotions and story they’re trying to convey. It feels intentional that there’s organ and bells that make it feel religious because this song is really a prayer. They’re praying for salvation. To be saved from the desolate world they’re living in and that’s exactly how it FEELS. Which makes it all the more powerful. Guerilla is a lot like that too. They’re yelling for people to wake up from their oppression and it SOUNDS like that.
I know you mentioned you would watch the ultimate guide 2023 a little later and I can’t wait but I would like to say the spoilers aren’t anything worse than killing voice. The spoiler clips aren’t that much of a spoiler. The person who made the guide did a great job of putting enough information in without spoiling too much. I feel like with ATEEZ it's impossible to warn you except as a whole: ATEEZ is crazy, amazing, incredible, cinematic, and will _always, always_ surprise you. This was the song and the point in their lore/history where things... changed. This isn't even technically a title track, it's like a side album title track that advances lore and is necessary, but without being a full-on album or EP. It had this song, 3 remixes and an outro, and it became a group benchmark. They sold bizillions of copies of it (relative to the time, since surpassed), released it hours before the end of the year, promoted it like crazy and yet not, and had pre-release things that had fans watching a barely moving screen for THIRTY MINUTES looking for changes and forming theories about what they'd seen. It was ... insane. And then they drop this, and it was worth every one of those eerie 30 minutes. They are truly unsurpassed in how they're doing their thing. Annnd Yeosang's deep voice came out of nowhere on this track, blowing us away. Halazia is my queen. She came in like a thief during the night and robbed Say My Name of its crown. ... I recommend their lighter stuff for summer, like Wave, Illusion, Dreamers (no Mingi, sadly), and Eternal Sunshine, because I think you need a break from the deep stuff that makes ya feel things.

After that maybe The Real, Inception, and Deja Vu if you haven't seen them yet. (They're mostly fun or showing off their sexy side.)
For their Japanese songs I'd recommend "Not Okay" for sure, and their collabs with BE: FIRST, "Hush Hush" and "Royal". (Not Okay is intense, fyi. Royal doesn't have a full video, just lyrics. Hush Hush is a lot but fun.)

Halazia was the Ateez song that hooked me. I had heard their song Paradigm before, and liked it, but when Halazia came out and I clicked on it on a whim, I was instantly obsessed and absolutely hooked. It is unpredictable and hauntingly beautiful. It still is my 2nd favourite Ateez even though I've heard the entire discography, which by the way, not a single skip. Empty Box just recently beat out Halazia for me as my number 1.
new subbie! i love a good reaction channel. You have very genuine reactions and you can tell that you really love music and see it as an art. I got into Ateez this . year after a friend recommended me. I had some immediate favorites and fell in love . What I love about them is thier music has so many different genres and no matter how old the music still stands undated. They perform it with just as much energy as the new music. They are true performers and once I watched them at Coachella and also their Dingo im like wow these guys are some of the few in kpop alongside bts that lives music is BETTER. how . They truly perform.
What i love so much about ateez’s music is that the music/sound is as much a part of the story as lyrics and the images in the video. Everything works in concert together to evoke the emotions and story they’re trying to convey. It feels intentional that there’s organ and bells that make it feel religious because this song is really a prayer. They’re praying for salvation. To be saved from the desolate world they’re living in and that’s exactly how it FEELS. Which makes it all the more powerful. Guerilla is a lot like that too. They’re yelling for people to wake up from their oppression and it SOUNDS like that.
I know you mentioned you would watch the ultimate guide 2023 a little later and I can’t wait but I would like to say the spoilers aren’t anything worse than killing voice. The spoiler clips aren’t that much of a spoiler. The person who made the guide did a great job of putting enough information in without spoiling too much. This is probably in my top three favorite songs by ATEEZ, I don’t think it will be in their US tour line up this summer (it wasn’t in their Seoul or Coachella setlists), and it makes me want to cry. I wish they had done it at Coachella to show to western audiences how versatile they are, but I guess when you have less than an hour to make point of showing people how badass you are…
