I'm impressed with the guest you guys have on this episode. Very knowledgeable about the Titans situation and I find myself agreeing with him on many things. I do believe Cally will be fine and workout the issues
Coming from watching Sal from Jersey analysis on the 2024 Titans… I feel I lost 40 minutes of my life before listening to this podcast. Tremendous episode!
I loved Nate Tices take, I've seen him before and has great insight. Good guest! Titan up! I'm always going to watch amd cheer for them. A true fan supports through highs and lows. I understand it's tough, but hard to understand Melo s take on supporting or not supporting because their bad. It's the easy way out!
Nate does incredible work nationally and we were fortunate to have him on! For clarification. I've (Melo) watched every game since the 2004 season! Haven't missed ONE. They've been bad for most of my life, but I've rooted through all the highs and lows. Just admitting that this year has been especially taxing. Hard to see light at the end of the tunnel right now.
My excitement level for Darnold would be totally dependent on how brutal the contract is, but solely on the field it’d be like a 7. I really feel like he could have a Ryan Tannehill impact and propel us to the playoffs (with the subsequent meltdown in the playoffs) but the price tags scares me! Great episode fellas
Something I do not see anyone mention when talking about Darnold is the contract implications - he is by far the most noteable of the upcoming QB free agents, and there are quite a few teams that need improvement at the position, especially with the QB draft class If we look at Baker Mayfield as a compareable player, he got payed more than 30 Million a year after a good season, not even on the open market With the current roster, i cannot see how that would make sense, even if he continued playing on a top 15 level
Nate Tice is the man, one of the best to be able to analyse and articulate. Awesome guest. He would have been the highlight until "let's wrap this bitch up" - better send off than Titan Up or Titan Down these days 😂😂. Love it Gravedigger!
NFL Stock Exchange had the idea of a first round pick swap plus other picks to the Vikings if they re-sign Sam Darnold and making JJ McCarthy a Titan. I rate that a solid 4.8/5 on the wacky scale but also... don't hate it if Darnold does re-sign?
Hard to envision the Vikings keeping Darnold and giving up on McCarthy, but the Titans should have interest if such a wacky scenario comes to fruition!
Interesting to hear Tice's opinion of this offense. Greg Cosell just said something like he's not seeing a lot of easy, open passes in this offense... hhhmmm....
I think this is strike 2 for Levis since I think they made him sit longer after his injury vs the Colts to have the time and watch Mason in action. This is round 2 for him to watch and learn. Maybe he gets traded elsewhere but in order for him to have a chance, he will have to do what Bryce Young had to do, double the work and wait for his opportunity
Nate Tice and most I speak with feel there's really nothing wrong with Callahan's offense. Execution has been the problem. I've been plenty hard on Callahan. It's the actual aspects of being a HC he's had a problem with. The offense is well designed.
Darnold will absolutely be a horrible signing.. He’s going to demand a decent bag and he’s not going to be anywhere near this good anywhere else. That would set this franchise back more than anything.
Baker mayfield and Geno Smith show that a failed starter can continue to develop and become a franchise qb. Sam darnold has shown this year that he can as well, the only question for the titans is if Brian Callahan is capable of coaching him to his ceiling.
@@williamgilstrap9875 Sure, and Josh Allen has proven that a big cannon arm QB that was mediocre in college and can’t read an nfl defense can flip that switch into being one of the best in the league, but Levis hasn’t shown any of that. Can’t always go by what has worked for other teams…
Darn old is only working in the current system and surrounding environment. Hr will go back to sucking when he leaves. Example: Casey Kenum. Levis needs to play the yr out benching him is stupid. Like really, this coaching staff really blows including Ran C. He needs to go
Just feels so weird to completely drop Levis after 1 bad game after a nice month of growth and progress. everyone said the jags game contributed, but he really had that one play he missed chig. Idk just seems so premature with the season already over. Yeah Sunday was horrible, but every QB has those games. At this point I'm as out on Callahan as the fanbase seems to be on Levis. This franchise isn't going anywhere anytime soon, sad to say. Hope Levis can go somewhere with competent coaching, will always root for the guy.
If it had been the first game of its kind, sure. But he'd pissed down his leg plenty this season. Perhaps he'll show growth elsewhere. The Titans can't afford to continue wasting time with him unfortunately.
He has yet to won a game on his shoulders...the Texans game , they made more mistakes than he did...At the end of the day, they don't want a gunslinger at QB (like Favre, Fitzpatrick, Cutler)...Brian tried his best to met him halfway but it just did not work...His job will be on the line with the QB of his choice if it doesn't improve quickly
For sure, people around the nfl, especially in the fantasy football space, don’t want to admit that the Colts QB situation is just as bad as ours. But it just is, Richardson is HORRIBLE, and has shown zero progress as a passer…
I'm impressed with the guest you guys have on this episode. Very knowledgeable about the Titans situation and I find myself agreeing with him on many things. I do believe Cally will be fine and workout the issues
Nate Tice is among the best! You should be following him if you aren't already.
not the biggest fan of Darnold but Nate might have convinced me for the right price to look at Darnold. Great interview!
Thanks for tuning in, Gus! Darnold is certainly an intriguing option.
Ran didn't draft Levis. That was Mrs. Amy's call.

We're so glad you loved the episode!

Another awesome discussion with a great guest, really sad that the team does not give you more positive things to talk about
We appreciate the compliments! Maybe next year ;)

He's probably getting 40 million a year. At least 33. We're glad you loved the EPISODE!

We know the Giants/Raiders/Browns aren't going to be players for him. It'll be interesting to see who actually makes a run at Darnold!
Nate Tice is the man, one of the best to be able to analyse and articulate. Awesome guest.
He would have been the highlight until "let's wrap this bitch up" - better send off than Titan Up or Titan Down these days 😂😂. Love it Gravedigger!
Hahaha we're glad you loved the episode and guest! Especially the outro 😂
Keep going guests please! Helps in a boring season
Nate Tice is FANTASTIC!

Yes get J.J.Mccarthy!!!!

Interesting re: Cosell! We loved having Tice on.

Nothing is impossible, but it sure feels like this ends the Levis era in Tennessee.
Donald would be a great signing if he got to bring his receivers with him!
Haha Justin Jefferson would be nice!
Malik Willis didn't get a chance like Levis got 😢
Still not super worried he'll ever be a legitimate NFL starting QB
The guy who grinds film knows we need Darnold
Nate, grinder of film!
Just dropping in to ask why we didn't give Willis the same amount of grace Levis was given.
My mind has been on fields the past 3 months. I like him, and "Callahan offense " holds no weight. Because it hasn't been the best.
Nate Tice and most I speak with feel there's really nothing wrong with Callahan's offense. Execution has been the problem.
I've been plenty hard on Callahan. It's the actual aspects of being a HC he's had a problem with. The offense is well designed.
Darnold is the most NFL ready…secure the Oline and bring Sam to Nashville
If all goes well, would allow the team to be competitive in 2025!
Kyle Trask is who the Titans should go after in the offseason
That's bold. Not sure about that one!
Darnold will absolutely be a horrible signing.. He’s going to demand a decent bag and he’s not going to be anywhere near this good anywhere else. That would set this franchise back more than anything.
That will be the great debate regarding Darnold this offseason. We see both pathways. Fun conversation!

Tbh I kinda agree but it’s so hard to ignore what happened in the first 4 games though

Get J.J. McCarthy Titans!!!!
Will the Vikings really move on from a 1st-round QB before he even plays? We'll see!
Levis needs to eat more Mayo😊
Plenty of time for that now!
I would say less all that mayo is clogging his decision making, probably that half a sec Nate was talking about :)
This organization titans has terrible management and ownership
This season has been a stain on leadership. For sure.
For sure, people around the nfl, especially in the fantasy football space, don’t want to admit that the Colts QB situation is just as bad as ours. But it just is, Richardson is HORRIBLE, and has shown zero progress as a passer…
He's riding the struggle bus! Showing no growth as a passer.
Please GOD don’t sign a vet for more than a 1 year deal, WHOMEVER it is
Probably going the bridge route!
