Enjoyed that boys, thoughtful analysis and some real nuance on the discussion. Quality episode. James' take on Levis being a guy who isnt a superstar but playoffs in reach with a good cast is reassuring to me. If he's that, stick with him a few years and sign him to an affordable extension - i will be delighted with this #TeamLevis Keep up the excellent work lads ❤
An intelligent discussion that has been lacking is base salary. Jayden Daniels (#2 overall last year) rookie contract is worth $37.7M. Will Levis ($9.54M). The delta is mammoth if you’re luke warm about the options available this year.
It's very different because Levis still has 2 years remaining on a very affordable rookie contract. I get what you mean, but what killed the Giants was giving him a $40 million per year extension. Titans are several years away from having to make that decision.
Levis needs to show he can win a game against any team, let alone a good team. He is 3 x 13. Titans need to continue to build their o line and defense. Mason Rudolph has the only wins this year. The Titans have the worst offense in the league. Let's see if they can beat Jacksonville.
Ima day 1 guy, Riding with my guy Levis (till 2026 lol). Hope he succeeds, and if he progresses enough in the last 7 games I think it'll be a strong contingent in the offseason riding for Levis. Hope we trade back with a team who's mesmerized with a QB and get a big haul if we're top 2 in the draft and then really bolster the Oline and Pass rush.
Increasing levels of nihilism and apathy I feel about the will Levis discussion. The issues with the Titans run bone deep. They could trade for Joe Burrow this offseason and still be bad next year. Similar to the Bengals, in fact. Just stick with Will and build up the team around until a good qb would actually make the team good. This is not where they are at now.
The roster has a lot of nice pieces, it's nowhere near as bad as the Jon Robinson initial rebuild, but unfortunately even their non-QB needs are premium positions (RT, EDGE, WR). Could be difficult to fill in one offseason.
there is no dilemma for me as far I'm concerned. I have scrapped last season because there was no expectations and teams can actually game plan vs Levis this time in a new system with a coach himself learning on the fly and a very young OL... The rebuild is going as expected (in the spectrum where there are major struggles before showing improvement) . At this point, if the season ended today, he would be at best a bridge Qb or a backup and you draft a QB and have a real competition at Qb, for which this last offseason, there was not really one... I don't want to use major cap space for a bridge QB or trade for an overpriced one. It's about time this fan base relaxes a bit and let the QB actually develop and worst case trade him if he doesn't fit. The last time that happened with a nice outcome was with McNair...
Here’s my bold prediction 😂 The Titans beat the Texans and then win out the rest of the season, become the 2024 AFC South champs and make the playoffs with a 9 and 8 record! Titanup!!
Great content with James. I agree with James might be worth sticking with Levis. I only reason to ditch him, imo, is if you think there is a superstar QB available. I just can’t see that being the case. I would go Edge, or trade back for future first round picks to build a trade draft chest for a better bet(assuming anyone like the Jets are dumb enough to climb the draft board)
We loved having James on! Trading back is currently looking like the best case scenario. Either addressing EDGE/RT through trade back or stockpiling picks for better QB drafts (26/27) as you said!
Just admit James Foster that you don’t like Shadeur Sanders I think your take is garbage. And to say that Will Levis is better now . We really don’t know if he better. Yes he had two good games but right now I can’t say he better than any of those QB you named.
There won't be anyone else available who is better than Levis. Keep him and let him continue to get better- especially while he's still cheap. Spend money on more Oline, secondary and rb depth
The QB options this offseason certainly leave plenty to be desired. Rodgers, Fields, Darnold. Or Sanders, Ward, Milroe. Spend money on the OL, WR and EDGE!
The complete opposite! The decision to fire Mularkey and get Vrable was bold! The decision to fire JRob to hire Ran Carthon was bold! The decision to fire Vrable and get both Callahans was really bold! She's doing everything in her power to create a winning franchise including a brand new stadium. Even though you might not agree, we have something cooking right now with Ran Carthon as GM, both Callahan's coming on board and Dennard Wilson most likely staying another year or two. And if Levis keeps developing/playing like he has the past two, three weeks...this franchise will be in GREAT shape for a long time to come!
I (Melo) personally like Sanders as a prospect, but he's facing a big jump to the next level and I can understand concerns about his tendencies not translating well.
I hope you guys get to do more collaborations with James. The 3 of you are my favorite voices regarding the team
James will be back!
No doubt. 3 of the best doing it for the Titans.
We need more titans fans like James to be part of the national football media to vouch for these titans nobody would care about otherwise
James does great work! We loved having him on.
james foster is the man, bring him on as often as you can. thanks for the content guys #titanup
James will be back, we can assure you!

We appreciate you! Glad you enjoyed the episode with James. We had a lot of fun with him!
Great content, would love to see him back on the show somewhere down the line to talk about the draft
We will definitely have James back!
HOLY COLLAB THE JUSTIN TWINZ (JK) with JAMES Foster. Titan up!!!!
Titan Up babyyyy
Can't wait for more a to z uploads James. It's been 2 months 😤
James is with 33rd Team now!

Huge difference with a 2nd round QB!
The conversation is meant to be simply about the economics, not the individual players themselves.
TITAN UP forever
Titan Up, David!
Levis UP!
Stock UP!
We cannot let will Levi’s trap us in a Daniel jones situation

Both Jacksonville games should be pretty telling!

Trading back would be awesome! As would Levis playing the rest of the way like he did versus the Chargers and Vikings!
“Let’s get Cam Ward”
“We have Cam Ward at home”
Facts 😂😂😂

I agree they shouldn't overpay for somebody like Justin Fields or Sam Darnold! Use that $$ to build a better roster (WR, EDGE, RT).
Conerly jr from Oregon is OT #1
Good ball player!
Gd Shw Gents !!! Go Titans/;-)))
Top Picks This Draft ? Rt Tackel.... Edge Rusher.... Wide Out ?
We appreciate you!!
RT, EDGE, and WR are definitely the top 3 needs IMO!
That fool Tyler locked on titans wants to keep mayonnaise man for 2025
Solid take if you're not high on the QB class next year and have to start from scratch like James said
It's becoming a realistic possibility based on the QB options this summer.
This QB class unfortunately leaves plenty to be desired..
Here’s my bold prediction 😂 The Titans beat the Texans and then win out the rest of the season, become the 2024 AFC South champs and make the playoffs with a 9 and 8 record! Titanup!!
This would be a PHENOMENAL bold prediction to come true!
It sounds like someone is high lol, but Titan up!!!!
love it
I'll drink to James saying to avoid a QB next year and go pass rush. I'm not looking forward to Autry and Al-Shaair revenge games.
EDGE at the top of this draft would be a good idea for the Titans!
James you looking sleepy my boy
He's always grinding that film!

Keep Levis. Fix the R side of the OL
Right tackle is a HUGE need!

The general consensus is quite low on this QB class!
There won't be anyone else available who is better than Levis. Keep him and let him continue to get better- especially while he's still cheap. Spend money on more Oline, secondary and rb depth

This team needs new ownership Amy Adams is garbage
She certainly is not garbage! The draft, new jerseys event, building a new stadium etc

Sheduer throws tds tho…sanders way better than Levis tbh nd already more consistent
