Thanks Justins - always fun to see the post game podcast up. Merry Christmas! At least the Titans won't be losing on Christmas day. We had a few of those in the 2000s and a couple of them were beat-downs.
Soft, not soft, it really doesn’t matter. At the end of the day they are a bad football team. What they did at the end of the game says more about the colts, and them failing, than it does prove anything good about the Titans. They are a bad football team from the top down.
I had a great time during this game. Just because I decided to watch the end of lord of the rings instead and it’s always so good!!! Just blown away that this team is so bad I hardly care to watch
In contrast to the horrendous play, it is good news to lose when you’re a bad team, we are in the running for a top 3 pick if we can hold on and lose to the jags. 🎉🎉🎉
Does the defensive performance this week and other weeks like against Washington make you wonder if Dennard Wilson will be let go and we'll be looking for a new DC?
Boys! No mention of Chig in I'll drink to that?! He was class. Again! Fair enough he's not getting paid but several weeks now he's been a bright spark in the darkness.
Mid way through the 3rd quarter was the angriest I've ever been as a Titans fan. How that running could not have been stopped or slowed at the very least is an abomination of the coaching staff. Doesn't change they got it to a one score game. But the lads who were bright sparks - Chig & Spears in particular - were great to see. Also great to see Jeff playing hard and to the end. People get on at him about talking too much etc but he backs it up. He put the effort in all the way through and he's right, he is trying to set the standard. I'm all in on Jeff being a senior leader on this team and staying there for the foreseeable. Proud of that guy being a Titan.
@@MusicCityAudiblePodcast MusicCityAudiblePodcast yeah but he played well outside of just garbage time? Wa s he not on his 8th catch by then? And Spears did seem to get going in garbage time... Love you boys, keep up the great work
An embarrassing performance like this to the texans, and that's it for Callahan. a competent team doesn't let this get close, and the colts are not component. So the fact we folded so hard for 3 quarters to a bad team should still be a massive black mark for this staff in the final evaluation.
This team even at full strength has issues with good to great RB and Qbs who can run. When part of of your DL is banged up and being to your 5 or 6th LB on top of all backups in the secondary (Except Awuzie and Hooker being injured)...not exactly super shocked by the result vs a team who still has super slim path to the playoffs. We don't match well vs the Colts in recent years because their OL and DL are the strength of their team, even if the rest of the roster is very questionable. Only this season with Sweat and Latham that both of our trenches are starting to shape to look decent. For this team to make any turnaround, aside form finding our QB, we need to continue addressing both trenches. Really hope we can find a physical edge rusher in round one or 2 that can replace Arden Key, who is as best a #3 DE on most teams...Even Harold Landry, I'm over him but we need him until finding a bonafide Edge player... In the meanwhile, enjoy the tank! We increased our chances for a top 4 pick...
Food for thought, keeping a coaching staff just for the sake of continuity, is not always the right move. The Texans fired Culley and Lovie Smith in back to back years until they finally settled on Ryans. Maybe it takes a difficult move to find the right guy.
The final box score is not at all indicative of the game. This was a blowout even if the final score says otherwise, absolutely bullied in the trenches on both sides of the ball. I thought Cedric Gray had a couple of decent series, I'll drink to the 3rd overall pick but mostly to drown my sorrows. Abdul Carter please save us
I’m commenting the same question I commented last week, not to be a smart@$$, but because it’s been a recurring theme the entire season. Is it not, at this point, a clear indictment that Callahan is, at minimum, equally to blame for the offensive issues, since the scripted drives go so well, and now we have the clear evidence of plenty of snaps with both QBs that things just utterly collapse outside of the scripted drives? Rudolph was a SOLID backup QB that had their fans clamoring to be the starter in Pittsburgh. He led them to the playoffs. I cannot buy that both Levis and Rudolph are the issues and have unprecedented regression from the 2 systems they were in now that “offensive guru” Callahan is here. I am adamant he is largely to blame, at MINIMUM, equally to blame as Levis, though I believe he is more so.
That's absolutely a fair question. They are totally useless and Directionless once the scripted plays run out. That's the sign of a poorly coached team. Every week is a new DISASTER.
I seems that one side or the other is going to sh*t the bed. Dreadful team, I feel for Cally, if the players could just be not quite as bad I think he would have something.
I think Amy has seen enough. It's odd to have this much clarity about the future but at the same time know they won't do anything until next year. It's gotta be what the Browns feel like knowing that Watson is absolutely not the future, but because of financials they are stuck with him for multiple years. I fear this is gonna be a long, boring, and bumpy ride y'all
Justin(s) been an asset to us, man
We're glad you're enjoying the pod! Thank you!
Merry Christmas lads! Enjoy the festivities you get up to and Titan Up!
Merry Christmas, Jake! Titan Up!
I hope they ask Cally again if he soft as Charmin 🤣🤣
Imagine haha ..

Agreed. Terrible football team nonetheless.

@@scooterkelly12 I was agreeing with what they said, I watched the pod
Thanks Titans you and JT send me to Fantasy SB!
You can always count on the Titans' opponent 😂
They soft as cotton. They allowed a team to run over 300 yards on them. Ooooooh boy they scored 23 unanswered points in garbage time.
335 rushing yards! Despicable.
not soft...Cotton Candy!
😂😂

Amen to that!

Up to No. 4 overall!
Does the defensive performance this week and other weeks like against Washington make you wonder if Dennard Wilson will be let go and we'll be looking for a new DC?
The only way Dennard Wilson will be let go is if the entire staff is fired. Carthon and Callahan included.
Boys! No mention of Chig in I'll drink to that?! He was class. Again! Fair enough he's not getting paid but several weeks now he's been a bright spark in the darkness.
Fair assessment? Haha. Lots of garbage time production underneath the coverage, in truth.
But nice to see him producing! Happy Holidays!

This might be the worst coaching staff I’ve seen in a long time. Everyone is a step behind the other team.
This is a very poorly coached football team. No doubt.

Agreed.. made a bad Colts team look like Super Bowl contenders. An embarrassing one vs the Texans and that could change Amy's mind.
At this point, let's hope Raiders win, we lose out, and we get the 3rd pick to draft a qb(it feels like we have too).
Will be interesting to see if they prefer a rookie or veteran QB!
@@MusicCityAudiblePodcast Vet QB after we trade back and stock up picks for a QB in 2026
No we need a vet QB not a rookie

They've struggled to contain mobile QBs all year long. Colts beat them up in the trenches!
Moved up two spots to No. 4!

We're totally not opposed. It feels like they're gonna get another year, but we're very skeptical.
I mean…I just don’t know what I’m watching anymore.

It certainly was a blowout.
One pass rusher isn't going to save this mess.
I don’t agree with people calling this pseudo comeback a good performance, but at least it made the fanbase feel something positive
