    Cassie, I'm making these today. I used my heat gun & put my lime in my vice & heated it for just a bit then sliced it with a blade saw. Worked great. Thanks so much. Miss seeing you❤

    The lime looked acrylic or hard plastic in which a wood burner or solder iron would work to melt a slot for rim hanging. It still looks great!

      Yes! Those are great ideas. I got a hot knife since then. I think that would work perfectly too.

    Hi, wanted to say thanks again and let you know I did some drinks, I did a frozen Blue Margarita and a frozen strawberry daiquiri, thanks so much. I also found that you can cut the lime and my strawberry with a scroll saw. I sliced a thin piece out and fit perfectly on the rim of the glass. Thanks again.

    How long did that take to dry?

    • @CassieSmallwood
      @CassieSmallwood  2 года назад +1

      Probably 4 or 5 days until it wasn't squishy in the middle anymore.

    Margarita is my drink, thought this could be a great gift for my friend this summer I was thinking of epsom salt for the rim what do you think?

    • @CassieSmallwood
      @CassieSmallwood  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, that's what I used. Mine was bath salt but it's made from Epsom salt.

    Hi Cassie, I have those same glasses and the same limes from Amazon that I wish were rubber instead of hard plastic. Really think alike I love margaritas, I did make a red one for a strawberry margarita but I couldn't get the green one color I wanted. I also want to make a Coke in a Coke glass but I don't know how to use resin, Inever really tried. Scared ill mess up. Thanks for thinking just like me

      I bet the strawberry one is cool! Maybe I'll do a Coke tutorial sometime. That would be fun!
