Thank you Annette 🙏🥰 It was certainly popular but difficult to find the reliable information as it’s been spelled in many different ways such as TWU (but that’s also a tag used for a university) or thewildunknown alone which includes photos of nature and travel and thewildunknowntarot which was used for all Kim’s decks. Overall it was used 60k plus times so I should have definitely mentioned it 😉
Social media is a weird and wonderful world. The only deck that I would consider ‘popular’ would be light seers. This deck broke all the boundaries from artistry to wonderful guidebook. It has also remained popular. This deck is probably owned the most by people. RWS deck is definitely the most popular and well known.
I have no problem with the thinner card stock, it’s never been a problem. Voyager I’ve had since 84. I remember all the photos from National Geographic. It works great for soul readings. The Good tarot is useful when someone wants a positive reading, beautiful. Osho Zen works beautifully. Thoth, my favourite.
I have to admit that I was reluctant with the Voyager at first because it looked confusing to me! Of course now I really cherish it, it’s by far my favorite collage deck. 🥰
Great work of you to collect the 10 most popular Decks on instagram (especially because it is not a platform I use) You keep me being curious on the Osho Zen, I guess sooner er or later it will land in my hands 😂
Thank you Angela 🙏🥰 It was a fun exercise! The Osho Zen is probably so popular because it broke with traditional depictions of the cards. It’s definitely a revolutionary deck!
What a great video! I have my pen in hand and am ready lol. I have the original Mythic Tarot with the black cloth too. The Deviant Moon is the coolest deck, so weird yet so neat. Thank you so much for your video. I always look forward to watching. Take care!
Thank you so much 🙏🥰 The Mythic Tarot is definitely a staple in a tarot decks collection, such a “daring” concept considering it was published in the ‘80s!
The only one I am surprised to see in this list is the Good Tarot. I really didn't think it was that popular. One standout tarot deck is missing, the Wild Unknown. I imagine it is one of the best selling decks ever. However, I am also pretty sure it was hard to sort out TWU, because all of her decks have TWU in the name... A couple of the decks you mentioned are decks I feel negatively about... but I either have or have traded all but the Good Tarot and Voyager.
TWU was a really difficult one to crunch the numbers for!! I started with TWU but apparently there’s a university with that acronym. Then just the wild unknown but it was mostly nature or travel related. Then The Wild Unknown Tarot and even though there were 46k posts which would’ve made the tally, except that as you’ve guessed there was a mix of Kim’s decks. I should’ve mentioned it anyway though, so thanks you for bringing that up 🥰
I have to say, the Mythic Tarot was my first (& only) deck for many years, since the '80's. it may feel flimsy, but my deck travelled the world with me just wrapped in the cloth and it survived for about 30 years before my partner spilt tea in the drawer where it lived and left it steeping lol. I could not connect to the Voyager, & gave away my original copy. I'm kicking myself now as my tastes and ways of working with decks have changed greatly.
Oh no, death by tea!! It’s true though, some of the thinnest cardstocks are actually very durable! I couldn’t connect with the Voyager either, thankfully I kept it because like you I have changed my mind on it 🥰
Definitely go for the Morgan Greer in the tin, i have both and tge card stock has a much nicer feel in the smaller size. Unless you can get your hands on a good quality vintage versiin of the standard size, the modern mm standard MG is not as nice as the tin. IMO 😂
Silvia, this was amazing, I truly enjoyed this video I was a little surprised that Wild Unknown didn't make the cut.

I agree, the Light Seer’s has opened the door to many beautiful decks we now almost take for granted. 💜

Thank you for this. I enjoy seeing the decks I love, well some of them.
I’m glad you’ve enjoyed this video 🥰
I love the Osho Zen & Light Seers!
They’re amazing decks 🥰🥰
Thank you! Really wonderful. Thank you for the research as well! 💚
Thank you 🙏🥰 I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it 🌟

Thank you for your research. I appreciated your discussion and recommendations. I'm still working on the Thoth and probably will for a very long time.
You’re welcome 💜 The Thoth is a very complex and amazing deck! I’ve been studying it for a long time and I still feel like I have a lot to learn 🥰
I'd really recommend the mini tin version of the Morgan Greer!
I’m so tempted! I’m into my “mini” phase now 🥰

This video proves that Instagram knows nothing about tarot 😋😁
It was a very interesting experience!!

Oh I didn’t know about the difference in the cardstock, thanks Clare 🥰 I think that might really tip the scales in favor of the tin edition 🤩
