I was doing a 4 star monthly with Aureleon Sol, and got offered Mowkai. It made it into a joke, because Asol’s Instant Level Up causes Mowkai to Obliterate the opponents deck down to 4 by playing him…
Used that on lissandra he became more important than asol to roll

Hey Spicy i tried myself a build that i find sooo funny with gatebreaker and riptide battery when you play swain if he is leveled he will strike nexus deal 3 to everyone and proc riptide with the added buff its quite fun to see because its a board clear and if they live they will get stun
I, Jorge, believe that the best relic build for Swain is Disciple of Shadows, The Curator's Gatebreaker and Dreadaway Chase Gun.
The first lets you play your Swain sooner and deals 3 damage to allies, making you Level Up faster and killing them so that you deal damage to the enemy Nexus and maybe stun some enemies, then the second relic strikes the enemy Nexus and activates LVL 2 Swain's Area Damage and the third creates 2 spells in your hand that cost 0 and deal 1 damage to enemy Nexus. Perfect to activate the Star Power and do a Burst Speed stun on a backrow unit.
This may be the build that deals more damage to enemy Nexus as possible and as more efficiently.
Other options are Riptide Battery and Packed Powder.
An interesting interaction with Riptide battery is that if you play it when Swain is about to or level up during your play, the one riptide battery proc twice. So, it might be possible to roll Packed Powder, Gatebreaker and riptide battery, ensure that you play him if gatebreaked damage is enough to level him up or if you are sure that you can level him. The first 3 riptide shot, if you did not use any spell, will be affected by Swain Star Power. It might be a less optimal way to play it, but depending of the situation, you convert your 3 cost riptide for the equivalent of a six cost.
Apparantly, the game consider that if the champion level during the play animation, it is similar to summoning the champion twice : His standard form AND his levelled form. That's a pretty unexpected interaction.
@@arcadis thanks for the big info about doubled riptide battery. Wonder if in this case of doubling, wouldn't It be better to just play Swain as 5 Cost to have 10 shots?
@@jorgecorrea2762 It's possible. There's another hidden advantage for a 5 cost double battery... you fill the board with skills effect and, from memory, it means the ai won't even be able to add anything else to the stack. I would need to experiment more with this, but it feels like you can preemptively counter and potential response when you drop a swain on board.
@@arcadis The maximum capacity of spells and skills on play is either 9 or 10.
I have tested it in the previous minutes. If the Level UP condition is 14/14 or above, the Riptide Battery won't Double up. If he's 12/14 and Nasus' Gatebreaker deals damage out of battle, It will double up.
I personally considered this doubling extremely interesting, but not as good as other relic builds. I preffer using those 2 Warning Shots instead of the Riptide Battery.
Also, I'll test using double Gatebreaker plus that relic that grants +1/+1 for each 200 Gold.
@@jorgecorrea2762 My guess is the doubling might be better once you hit the 6 star treshold for a board clear effect. If it works like I believe it should, each riptide should affect whole board, which would push the final riptide as direct nexus damage.
The interesting this with warning shots is based on when you plan to play these. You can either push the level up condition or finish an opponent quite easily.
From my perspective, Swain opens quite a lot of experimentation, making it one of the more interesting champion at the moment. Gotta love that legit snowball effect.
It's looks like that there is an error in interaction in PoC between Swain lvl2 and his hero power, because strongest units aren't stuned when some units are diying and enemy nexus is taking damage.
You should try disciple of shadows relic. Turn 2 Swain almost leveled if you played the house spider turn one. If you get the powers that plays units on game start you potentially can have Swain turn one and depending on the amount of units on board he could level instantly.

I have the perfect broken Relic Combo for Teemo that is absolutely broken. Banshees Veil, Crown guard Inheritance with Corrupted Star Fragment.
Swain felt so good against lisandra since they have so much health to scale off. Toast do you know if they are gonna have star forge gauntlets into the epic item pool?
