My dad died in the hospital all alone since it was over night and we were not there. One of my brothers had walked into his room and was talking to him not realizing. He just thought dad was asleep. The staff didn't even cover him. When my mom passed away that same brother and myself were with her. She was completely asleep and then just passed. The CPR we see today is quite different from 10 years ago. The way that CPR was delivered back when this was filmed has had many changes in protocol because there have been new studies done in those years that have shown that the current way of administering CPR is more effective. And these standards will be "not real CPR" in 10 years from now as new studies have been done and we find better ways to do it.
