Dude I just took papyrus’s dragon and basically triplets it’s size and gave it an extra set of wings, but 3 heads would be a dope ass addition

Has anyone noticed how papyrus acts weird when talking about sans.
He's covering for Sans. He knows Sans doesn't want to fight or have people interrogating him, so he lies.
Papyrus kinda spooks me in this comic. There are moments where he's just standing there, staring at sans or empty space like he's in deep thought, namely at 6:58.
I think he either knows how dangerous sans can actually be or.... Idk just something else
He's just wanting to keep his brother's fears a secret. I mean, EVERYONE would freak out if they found out.

Yo I’m kinda disappointed no one mentioned this, but Sans’ voice in this is perfect for him. Chill, but still calculating. It might not be as “funny” as some others, but it fits his lazy aspect and serious sides at the same time.

5:54 I love the attention to detail the artist has with the skeletal anatomy and how the forearm bones cross when he points, It's really great and TIBIA honest I wish more people did that and maybe if more people noticed stuff like that by toMARROW things would have changed.

this artist knows how the characters act, honestly Zarla and this artist know how the characters should act while integrating stuff from the fandom. Here Papyrus is shown as an adult like authority rather than a gullible kid who doesn't know left from right, and sans shows his authority when needed. He's not depressed, he's not actively visioning the genocide routes every 5 seconds of the day, and his smile like the game is permanent it can't turn into a frown or mimic every emotion like his eyes. Yes Gaster is brought up but when he is sans doesn't mental break down
Heheh, artist of the comic here, and thank you! getting the characters right is important to me, and i'm always glad to see it's appreciated ^^ I will say that sans -is- depressed, but he's a particular "flavor" of low-key depressed that's easier to hide or work through, and not the sort of melodramatic "depressed" that gets depicted a lot in the rest of the fandom :"D
@@samstanton2742 I'm glad you see how good it is to be faithful to source material. Also, I'd like to ask; what's your opinion on Sans' smile? should it be centered, or no? because some fan sprites make it centered, and it often makes him look buck toothed
@@thomasharrington1477 heheh, the source material is what we all fell in love with at the start, right? i find there's still plenty of ideas to play with without getting too far into AUs, so i'm happy to stick with canon--and i'm glad other folks appreciate it ^^
As for sans' smile... well, i think i draw it centered, but the key may be to keep the spacing of his teeth fairly even so the front two aren't too big. His sprite's smile is quirked up on one side though, so to be truly sprite-accurate you'd have to make it slightly asymmetrical. That's my thoughts on it anyway ^^
