Grace Fuller i know how they eat because in the underground there is some special food than our food and then the monsters eat that food and the food just dissapears and transforms into magic so they can use it to attack maybe is a reason sans is so strong because he eat ketchup daily with the cigarettes is almost the same just that they don’t eat it but the monsters can smoke (ok i wrote all of this just because some stoopid food i will stop)

10:35 till the end of the video really hit home to me, like, how do you show your emotions to someone when you've been hiding them for so long? It's like, a part of you wants to tell them everything, you know, spill your heart out, but there's another part of you that doesn't want to burden or annoy the other person with your feelings. You know what's really frustrating though? When you don't know how to explain why you feel the way you do.
I feel that too! I just end up bottling up the emotions because it feels better to me and doesn't burden anyone. Someone has actually thought I was emotionless because of it, but I'm feeling ok

As painfully relateable as some of these moments may be, I hope we can open our eyes and understand the messages they send. I never thought comics like these would impact my way of thinking so much. These may not just be 'bad days,' but 'heartwarming realities.' Sure, the second comic was more of a sad day for Sans.. But the heartwarming reality is that Gaster wanted to be there for him even when he was rough around the edges like this. If that isn't a good Dad, I'm not sure I'm certain one looks like in this situation. What Gaster pointed out about Papyrus especially stuck out to me.. About Papyrus knowing that sharing your emotional struggles is not a weakness but a strength. I don't have a very emotionally receptive mother or sister. They would listen, but because they couldn't understand me, they laughed.. It's kind of hard. But when I was at my darkest and I came to them in all seriousness telling them I was struggling with depression, guilt, self-hate, grudges... They opened up their arms to me, even though I was scared. And that was well worth the draining fear I felt before confessing that I wasn't as cool as I tried to make myself be. To anyone else out there trying to keep this all inside.. Please, go to someone. You don't have to fight this alone. It doesn't make you weak to admit you're struggling. Like Gaster had said, "Not dealing with underlying problems is what hurts you and your family the most." You've been strong for this long already, and I'm beyond happy you've made it here. But when you need relief from all this pain, it is okay to reach out to others. Don't close yourself in, even if it will be uncomfortable. Even if it's scary. Even if it will be embarrassing. The healing you receive will be well worth the discomfort. :') Love you

For myself, I know it took me a long time to realize that I needed to take care of my emotions just like I took care of my body and mind. Reading, expanding my mind, exercising, eating healthy, drinking water, and getting enough sleep are all well and good. Do that! Just don't do ONLY that. Emotions are to be shared between people. Laughter is contagious for a reason. Please make sure you talk so people, honestly talk to people. Go to the people you trust and confide in them. It's uncomfortable, yes, but it clears all of the swirling emotions inside. Once that is done, you can enjoy your time with your friends and family. It's okay to feel.

So I've listened to some of your soundcloud (you have a lovely voice, by the way -- it's very soothing :3) and heard the bit mentioned about your fight with depression. I'm too lazy to sign up to soundcloud, or I would have stated there how much I feel that struggle every day, and that it takes courage to talk about it openly. So kudos and huggles to you! :) On that note, I have a question. The comic dubbed here really resonated with me, in no small part because of how well you dubbed it. Given what was mentioned earlier, did the comic's subject matter compel you to dub it? And did the subject matter make it easier or harder to work with? I'm asking out of genuine curiosity, because the comic/dub really struck a nerve I wasn't actually fully aware I had, and I was just the end user, to so speak. I can't imagine dubbing it would've been an easier experience. I hope none of this comes across as too forward; don't mind me, if that's the case. :) This whole deal was a really interesting conversation to have with my shrink, by the way. You ever had to explain Undertale comic dubs to a shrink? That was fun.
Sorry for taking so long to reply. I set this aside to reply to when i had the time, but I guess it kind of fell through. Well I mainly chose to do this one because I enjoy dramatic and well written dialogue. All actors do. Something to really get into when recording. I hadn't thought much of the deeper implications because I try to stay detached to a certain degree when recording. If i don't then recording something like this could just wreck my whole day. I get so deep in my own head that I find it difficult to pull myself out and something like this would just make it even worse. I mainly just looked at this as a fun exercise in emotions and relationships. Playing off of myself is also an interesting experience. I'm glad that it was able to help you deal with your feelings, however. And I can only imagine what explaining this to a therapist must have been like. I actually have never seen a therapist (though i know I should... I just need to find the time. Especially now that I'm planning a move) beyond the visit I had with the one who diagnosed me with my disorders. So I haven't had to explain comic dubs to one, but I would likely just say it in the usual "professional talk" we freelancers use to make what we do sound more easily digestible to people who wouldn't normally understand it. Probably something like, "I act in and produce the audio for animated motion comics on RUclips and other streaming services".
I just love how the vouce acting was so tender and nuanced. From 14:00 to 14:30 you can clearly hear the voice transition from anger, then frustration to feeling of helplessness and worthlessness. The dialogue and execution had the perfect natural flow. Also, although the voice of Sans in the first comic is a but mature, the acting is so well done, I want to hug him like the adorable kids I sometimes see outside.

Cigarello's like cigars are not for inhaling. You pull the smoke into your mouth then blow it back out. They're more about the taste.

So I've listened to some of your soundcloud (you have a lovely voice, by the way -- it's very soothing :3) and heard the bit mentioned about your fight with depression. I'm too lazy to sign up to soundcloud, or I would have stated there how much I feel that struggle every day, and that it takes courage to talk about it openly. So kudos and huggles to you! :)
On that note, I have a question. The comic dubbed here really resonated with me, in no small part because of how well you dubbed it. Given what was mentioned earlier, did the comic's subject matter compel you to dub it? And did the subject matter make it easier or harder to work with? I'm asking out of genuine curiosity, because the comic/dub really struck a nerve I wasn't actually fully aware I had, and I was just the end user, to so speak. I can't imagine dubbing it would've been an easier experience. I hope none of this comes across as too forward; don't mind me, if that's the case. :)
This whole deal was a really interesting conversation to have with my shrink, by the way. You ever had to explain Undertale comic dubs to a shrink? That was fun.
Sorry for taking so long to reply. I set this aside to reply to when i had the time, but I guess it kind of fell through. Well I mainly chose to do this one because I enjoy dramatic and well written dialogue. All actors do. Something to really get into when recording. I hadn't thought much of the deeper implications because I try to stay detached to a certain degree when recording. If i don't then recording something like this could just wreck my whole day. I get so deep in my own head that I find it difficult to pull myself out and something like this would just make it even worse. I mainly just looked at this as a fun exercise in emotions and relationships. Playing off of myself is also an interesting experience.
I'm glad that it was able to help you deal with your feelings, however. And I can only imagine what explaining this to a therapist must have been like. I actually have never seen a therapist (though i know I should... I just need to find the time. Especially now that I'm planning a move) beyond the visit I had with the one who diagnosed me with my disorders. So I haven't had to explain comic dubs to one, but I would likely just say it in the usual "professional talk" we freelancers use to make what we do sound more easily digestible to people who wouldn't normally understand it. Probably something like, "I act in and produce the audio for animated motion comics on RUclips and other streaming services".
I just love how the vouce acting was so tender and nuanced. From 14:00 to 14:30 you can clearly hear the voice transition from anger, then frustration to feeling of helplessness and worthlessness. The dialogue and execution had the perfect natural flow. Also, although the voice of Sans in the first comic is a but mature, the acting is so well done, I want to hug him like the adorable kids I sometimes see outside.

Potato Person Am I the only one who thinks depression is a joke? Like, not past experiences or memories that won't go away but depression itself. I see it as a person that just wants to sap the energy out of ppl and make them feel bad. And then some people when sapped they either just go with the flow or try to fight back. The fact that a video game sparked such emotionally serious and real things online, is so...amazing. This stuff doesn’t happen with every other game, topics of anxiety and depression stemming from a VIDEO GAME? This is just so great.
