I hope that we can all see how people are fighting to make ends meet, working hard, and risking their lives. Some even work through the night, yet insensitive individuals would label them as scammers and blame Them for all their country's woes. Only God knows what would have happened if 1% of Nigeria's population, approximately 2.4 million people, were scammers.

Ibadan is truly an ancient city and an organized chaos. However, taking a tour towards ring road would have given you more of the Lagos vibe. Iwo road is also a major transit point in the whole Nigeria that bears resemblance with Oshodi Lagos.
And no, cocoa mall is not the biggest mall, a bigger one is on ring road where you missed. If you also drove through Jericho, you would have seen what looks like like lekki with some choice hotels. The places you transversed are mostly the ancient part of that city. It's a really huge city that 24hours would not be enough time to capture.

You can see the difference between Ibadan and Lagos. That the former is more relaxed and cool, than the latter. I moved to Ibadan after 3 years in Lagos, and I felt reluctant going back to Lagos because of its hustle and bustle. In fact, some people own businesses and factories in Lagos, but they prefer to live in Ibadan. While there, with a nice car and good road, the drive from Ojota in Lagos to Iwo road in Ibadan takes about 45 minutes. Now the train could make it easier. I can see that you passed the Cocoa house, you could visit Mapo Hall, a historic edifice. Will you see the UCH, University College Hospital? Research institutes, both local and foreign, like the IITA? There's a lot to see in Ibadan.

As an Indian, this is exactly how tier-2 Indian cities look like. Feels like home. It may look chaotic and confusing to the west, but to me this is in perfect balance. Order within chaos and diversity. Have too much order, a society will descend into anarchy.

Next time african tigress, going to a place you don't know, let an indigenes or someone staying their take you on the tour. I grew up in ibadan, moved to lagos, now in the UK. It would have been much more fun going around with someone that knows the place to give you info and history. As you move along
There are many fun places you didn't touch. Ancient and historic places as well.
    Good job though

I agree, but to be fair to Madam Tigress. She anounced her visit to Ibadan beforehand for RUclipsrs based there to "meet up", but I think people fell silent like crickets when you approach them.
Fortunately, she broke out of Lagos to show us other parts of Nigeria.

Whenever I go back to Nigeria, I might visit here , but this is surely nothing the same as Abuja for example. One of my cousin in-laws family is from here fwiw.
