Thanks for watching Ruth, i am glad to see you again in the comment section, that means a lot for me, i put a lot of efforts in these videos, and your comments are my reward !
so I want to thank you a lot !
This is very good. I'm happy you covered the part of history where the Egba people opposed the Oyos and the Dahomeys and won. I only wished the leaders of Nigeria bring back history as a subject in our secondary schools because 95% of Nigerians right do not know their history past the early 1900s. Many Yoruba people do not know the constant wars between Yoruba towns and kingdoms in the 1800s especially between Oyo, Owu, Egba, Ijebu, Ilorin, Ife and the peaceful Aworis. Add to that mix the non Yorubas like Dahomey, Badagry and Bini Kingdoms, and you have yourself a real wild wild Western Nigeria
Thanks a lot for your warm and informative comment! I am glad you came to look that video
The Olfado rice looks GREAT 😃👍🏾🥣
It was so good !
This is my Hometown, I am almost 30 and the last time I visited was at age 8. I don't know what my hometown looks like and I have always been ashamed of that. Oga Ludo, we have been anticipating to see Naija through your screen.
The poem being recited at 2:33 simply means work hard, my friend, the work can catapult you to the highest level, if we don't have a supportive pillar, it makes hard worker looks like a lazy fellow. If your family is rich, never rely on them cos you might find yourself at the bottom. In a nutshell, work smart
That poem, reminds me of my childhood in Lagos, Nigeria. I grew up reciting that poem in primary school or elementary school.

Buenos dias Madame Tener de partir en aventuras para la descobierta de África que nos outros tener coisas encantadoras Diós te guarda
Truly immersive! From the start visiting the women making Adire cloth. The natural rock formations had me wondering who formed them and placed them there in such an orderly, purposeful fashion. The answer the Holy Spirit gave me: "God Almighty!". The time spent with the children of Olumu being taught the ABC's and singing is precious. The walk through the village near the Central Mosque was surreal as I felt like I was actually there! The purple/lavender dresses worn by the women for an Okada are gorgeous! It was interesting to watch them determine which two ladies would best fit on the Okada. The ride through the market place was another surreal experience due to your excellent video recording. Next time Ludo save some of that delicious looking rice dish for me!
