It is kind of crazy though cause why is a big ahh shark dodging so many bullets and is still hit by like 40 of them, survives multiple explosions, an entire tsunami and is still happy and alive

This escalated so quickly that it left me guessing the number of fatalities from this catastrophic event.
Wouldnt be surprised if tens of thousands died within the hour and millions more due to the sharks now having more access to prey.
It's the mayors fault because she didn't listen....
Choices:
1. Cancel an important sport event because of a shark potentially saving a bunch of people but potentially embarrasing your mayorship.
2. Allow the sport event and risk ruining your mayorship by allowing the death of a bunch of civillians on LIVE television.

Tha flood doesnt make any sense to me. Floods like that are the result of heavy rains that increase the water level, and on the case of the explosions, there was no water level increase, only water deslocation, which would not justify such flood. But thar was the only problem of the film, cause that its the best shark movie since Jaws.
Well in theory if you have an explosion large enough it can create a wave like that, my guess would be that they expect you to believe the constant barrage of explosions forced the water level higher and higher

Despite the bad CGI i think the ending changed my perception of this movie, not only we get to see the side of sharks being the winner but the movie did live up to its title 'Under Paris' because catacombs was once above before Paris, and now with these sharks roaming around, Paris is no longer above, it's under.

All it takes it’s wild reckless shooting, several dozens of WW2 old bombs and a great flood that gives nature the opportunity to overtake the humans.
Incredibly, Under Paris predicted the outcome of the Paris Olympics (if we take the freshwater sharks in the Seine as a metaphor for E. Coli infecting the swimmers en masse)

Unlike most movies featuring sharks being villains, this one had no good ending as the sharks still lived while all of Paris (or maybe the whole Europe) were flooded due to many shells (bombs, not animal parts) being triggered in the water.
Only a small part of Paris..
In the credits they show that they reached london and then new York so... Yeah fun

It's still a film, but in reality, the mass of water displaced by the explosions could not flood the banks of the Seine to a height of 2 meters.
The water would just flood the traffic lanes along the banks of the Seine and quickly return to its place.
The only credible fact is that the metro stations and riverfront tunnels of lines 4, 5 and 7 would be under water.
They have to fix the entire world now

The government knows about it. Adil's group was also tasked to extract the shells. They didn't finish getting them all, iirc

I don’t know why, but I really liked the tragic ending to this movie. Probably because it was handled so realistically, in terms of politics.
My favorite part of this movie is where the leader of Millennial band of 'save the ocean' activists jumps into the water, and when the adults yell at her to get the hell out, she was resistant and said "the sharks won't attack humans", then right away she and 11 other Millennials get eaten.

She shouldn't have survived at all. Shockwaves travel much faster in water than in air (340m/s on air). With Liliith being right underwater and surrounded by the bombshells, she should have been absolutely demolished by the bombs

i think the moral of the movie is basically "Don't f_ck with nature." And at the end, it shows the consequences of the movie's people's actions, doing nothing but dumb decisions and swimming in none cleaned water. And how did Lilith survived being shot multiple times?! i know that shark skins are really tough but she was bleeding so she could lose a lot of blood from swimming fast! How... Stupid they were all are. Give me back the hours i spent for watching this movie. But i'm gonna give a thumbs up for the french to make a shark movie.
Lilith is a mutated shark that is a complete new specie.Anything is possible.Also the size of Lilith at the end was huge even tho considering she was not even halfway through life.which means she can possibly grow up to a size of a megaladon
