In order to save Paris from an international bloodbath, a grieving scientist is forced to face her tragic past when a giant shark appears in the Seine.

Fun fact: the bearded swimmer who gets eaten at 2.00 is a french comedian/TV presenter call "Monsieur pouple" meaning mr octopus 🦑 and that's the only reason he's in the movie. The director thought it was funny that an octopus was eaten by a shark.
