The TCL looks like you have the 'Blue light filter' turned on (which can be turned off) Picture>advanced settings>Colour>Blue light Filter. Also no Samsung TV supports Dolby Vision, only HDR10+
I noticed in the video at the start of the film the TCL had way too much warmth added in compared to the Samsung. Is that due to a blue light filter? O_o
@ap tech. I notice the tcl always had a slower transition from one scene to the next compared to the samsung Is that because of the splitter (assuming) you used or was this just a stream from youtube i.e. the tcl simply had slower decoding in its decompression. Slower decoding is fine while streaming movies as long as the video and audio stays in sync. The important thing will be this. Will I notice this input lag during gaming?
Good question and I like how you noticed this much detail. When playing a video through RUclips, I had to press the same time and slight delay is due to the remote pressing function. I thought the Samsung QN95D had the same amount of dimming zones (1344)
I lt has. I don't know why it's the 2nd video i see that speaks of 792 zones lol the correct info is 1344 zones. It's the same panel as QN95C.
Apologies, indeed the Samsung QN95D also has 1344 zones. Thanks for pointing out 👍
The colors on TCL looks so much better and natural!
