    @ap tech. I notice the tcl always had a slower transition from one scene to the next compared to the samsung Is that because of the splitter (assuming) you used or was this just a stream from youtube i.e. the tcl simply had slower decoding in its decompression.
    Slower decoding is fine while streaming movies as long as the video and audio stays in sync. The important thing will be this. Will I notice this input lag during gaming?

    • @APTechs
      @APTechs  Месяц назад +1

      Good question and I like how you noticed this much detail.
      When playing a video through RUclips, I had to press the same time and slight delay is due to the remote pressing function. When I tested through 2-way HDMI splitter, there is no delay.
      I’ve not tested the input lag but it is safe to say that VRR 144 refresh rate is decent for a TV at this price tag plus both tv has gaming mode.

      @APTechs It has automatic updates selected in the option menu. It has already done 2 software updates and it still feels like it's running windows 95!

    • @APTechs
      @APTechs  3 месяца назад

      Ah sorry to hear that. Do you find lag when playing game or watching content like RUclips/netflix and prime? If the lag is from gaming, my next suggestion would be to invest high end HDMI cables. This can make huge difference for your experience

    • @snarfkat1
      @snarfkat1 3 месяца назад

      @APTechs No, not that kind of lag. Once it loads a movie or runs a game it is smooth. It's just interface lag. It has trouble running It's own software. Like it has slow ram speed. Not enough memory or something. It's ridiculous. Maybe it'll get better over time with the next updates. It has lgs 5 yr support so hopefully it gets better.

    they say the football matches when the ball (camera) has fast moves, there are some shadow effects.

    • @APTechs

      No I have not seen any lag or shadows. If it helps to know, there’s a sport picture mode

    In the example video at the start the TCL is adding WAAAAAAYYY too much warmth. Holy cow. Is that because of specific settings and can be adjusted for? O_o If not, definite deal breaker for me.

    • @APTechs
      @APTechs  Месяц назад

      Good observation, yes you can adjust the setting to different picture profiles. So far, I had standard mode which was manufacturer settings.

    Question might sound stupid so I apologise
    But with both remotes where are the numbers on it
    For example watching normal tv how do you change the channel to watch something else ?
    On my old tv all you do is hit guide go down through the channels than hit ok

    • @APTechs

      It’s actually a good question. These TVs runs on smart operating system and number keypad is shown on the tv like smartphones nowadays don’t have keypad anymore. So you will use the remote arrow left and right to move to each digits. 👍

    Ahoj, výborný test. Chcem kúpiť práve QN95D a potreboval som takýto test. Aj TCL by bolo super za tú cenu ale nepredáva sa v 55". Väčší rozmer tam nedám :( Chcem sa ťa ale opýtať, televízory boli out of box alebo boli kalibrované? Čo hovoríš na blooming? Všade sú qledy za to kritizované. Super práca, máš odo mňa like a odber 👍 Pozdravujem zo Slovenska 😉

      In my opinion both TV isn't calibrated. Samsung has better calibration out of the box plus you can easily calibrate it if you have a galaxy phone. Talking about blooming both TV has excellent blooming control.
      Get the QN95D if you need more HDMI 2.1 port and don't care about Dolby Vision support.

    • @APTechs
      @APTechs  2 месяца назад +1

      Welcome to AP Tech family. Both TVs were out of the box without calibration. The QN95D is superior but it’s not value for money compared to the C855K.
