@@Adamtendo_player_1 Sony owns a large percent of the Hollywood movie and music industry. They hate video games. If you look at the numbers, the video game industry is now many times larger than the movie and music industry combined. A lot of people don't know that. This is why Sony has been so desperate to undercut Nintendo and grab a percent of the video game marketshare. But their plan was always to have it as a platform for a hybrid of media: movies and video games combined into one beast. It doesn't work though, Shigeru Miyamoto figured this out a LONG time ago, pointing out that video games and story don't really mix well in even ratio. They said that in developing Ocarina of Time, they developed all the gameplay first and fine tuned it and fixed the bugs, and only AFTER all of that the finishing touch was adding the story. And you can see how well that worked out for them, despite putting story on the backburner they still included it and people LOVE the story. It's one of the only games that didn't screw up the story.

I don't believe Nintendo will put their IPs onto another platform although they have released Mario games on iOS and Android. Why? Because consumers buy Nintendo HARDWARE to play their SOFTWARE. If Nintendo releases games for Sony, Microsoft, or PC, they would lose their differentiation from them. Still, it's not impossible. Nintendo might have to consider it. As for the Switch 2 being the GOAT, let's not get carried away with that but it's possible. Just remember, Switch 2 is only par to a Steam Deck and base PS4 in raw power. This will also be the cure to piracy. Every game needs to be logged in with an account or briefly be connected online for it to be checked if it's a legit copy or not. Sega is already doing the online account stuff only recently. Eventually, we will have 6G speeds by 2030 and that should be able to handle cloud-based streaming for the masses. Less latency. Everyone should be able to game from the cloud with no more stutters. If gaming headed that way, this would eliminate the need for physical devices. Our gaming will look a lot like the PlayStation Portal. It doesn't need any real specs underneath it. You stream your games and that's it. Because releasing consoles like a PS5 can be very expensive. They're more expensive to manufacture. Streaming can eliminate all the physical hardware stuff. Nintendo may have to consider following MS and Sony. The industry will not stay the same forever. The way it's consumed is going to change. Nintendo still has this archaic way of thinking when it comes to sales. Perhaps Sony, MS, and Big N all need each other. They may need to end the era of exclusives and support each other to keep the industry from dying. How they will trap consumers is through their ecosystems usually through their games and online services. The battle for the best AAA titles is getting too expensive and it takes several years to release a AAA game. The market is going to change whether we like it or not. Nothing lasts forever. We need to understand that retail stores are also dying. Malls are closing down. My local Best Buy barely has any people inside. I see more employees than customers. It's all going to shift to online stuff now. I still prefer my OFFLINE gaming in case my mobile data speeds are too slow, but I think the shift to cloud is imminent which could mean the end of exclusives. Nintendo could gain money by letting their games appear on a Sony or MS handheld. Switch 2 could be the GOAT but it can also be the end of an era for exclusives, how we previously consumed our games, and the end of physical devices with specs. Everything will simply shift to remote/cloud-based gameplay. It happened to movies, it will happen to video games. And Switch 2 could be the final physical/dedicated handheld for OFFLINE gameplay that Nintendo will ever release. ☁️ 🎮
I think Sony bringing older games in Sony’s franchises to Switch 2 is an excellent idea for Sony. Especially PS2 and PS3 ports. It’s the best way for Sony to introduce their key franchises to a new audience. The PS5 has priced itself out of the casual market. I know millions of Switch users would buy a port of the PS3 version of the Last of Us part 1, God of War 1, 2 and 3, Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 and the Killzone games. In fact, these games should have been ported to PC already.
That doesnt solve the problem. The problem is that their NEW games cost A L O T and take alot of time to develop. So they need alot of sales to actually make profit. This is why they are releasing their NEW games on PC and maybe soon it will be Switch 2. Porting old PS2/PS3 games wont solve this problem.
I wish Nintendo would bring back Crash Bandicoot. I remember when the Nintendo 64 came out and we had Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot they were a couple of my all out favorite games!
I mean knowing Sony, is this even true? Idk if they’ll bring their first party games to Switch 2 that being Spider-Man, Miles Morales, 2, The Last of Us, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, etc.
We are heading towards a time where first party exclusives won’t be a thing anymore. Eventually it will come down to play on the machine that you prefer controls and performance. Not on the machine that has the games you want to play.
Wdym performance? Differences when you get over 60 fps are negligible. Without exclusives the console will die. Which to be fair, does seem to be happening. So you’re half right.
They will bring him back and they will sell it on the PlayStation brand. That's PS5, PS6, and there eventual PS hand held. You want PlayStation brands your gonna need a PlayStation this whole topic is simple wishful thinking
Nothing triggers RGT like multiplatform games. I’m all in with getting rid of console wars and bringing console peace. We win when we can play as many games as possible on all platforms .
I can see this, just because it is a great complimentary/secondly system to an XBox or PlayStation console. The Nintendo Switch has the innovation, while XBox and Playstation have the graphical boost and are similar to each other. With so many people with both a Switch and an XBox/Playstation, it makes sense to capitalize on this.
Lego Horizon releasing on switch was mandated by the Lego Company. It the game wasn't tied up in a licensing deal with Lego theres no way it would of been ported to switch.
I always thought the gaming industry should go this way. Since it's software that makes all the real money any way. Should just have one or two systems to play games but all games play on them the same way movie players have worked since the beginning. It would also make backwards compatability and emulation from past games much more viable also.
Nintendo should make a deal to be able to remote/cloud play both Xbox and PlayStation games on their new console… this would benefit all companies and gamers!!!
If this happens . I’m sure Nintendo will destroy past present future consoles sales . There will be no need to buy another console. A handheld that can play all three platforms games is crazy
I think nintendo will be the savior of this game slight game crash. If everyone puts their games on switch 2 i think it will help with this lull of no games dropping plus new way going about upgrading systems
@@chuckgreen41 Big Differance is like Microsoft. Sony its self is A tech Company with a DIVISION that does games. Nintendo is a Game a Toy Company with a Focus on Video games and related merch and media. Its why we ever Got things like PS3 or Xbox 360 and beyond that. Because Sony and Xbox Made and sold the consoles at a loss so that they could sell the Games. Nintendo Did not. On top of that. While PS Over all revenue is Higher. Its profit margins are MUCH lower. This is Due to Huge production costs for the Console as well as Stupidly ballooning production coasts for AAA games. While 400 Million does not sound like much to a company like that. Its that loss and having to report it to share holders and investors. Then haveing to moving money around and justify it and then cancel any un necessary fat to make up for it that is the problem. That and they had another 12 live service games lined up. And with Concord. SSKTJL, and Skull and Bones, (the last three big live serivce) being massive hundred million dollar loss failures in the industry. Its pretty clear they got spooked. Their Sony Executive over lords WILL ask why Profits are down. They WILL demand that to be made up. And they WILL NOT accept anything but Growing profits even with the thin profit margin. Nintendo how ever has a history or Hording Cash. Weathering low profit times or even over all losses. And staying course even in harsh sale environments. Their Profit margins are higher. Their production costs are lower and more streamlined. They Guard their exclusives because they are long term investments. And Because they horde Cash like a clypto Dragon. They do not NEED the influx of revenue like Xbox or Sony to off set a bad quarter. So they have NO incentive to move their games to another platform. Short term Profit vs long term Sustainability. Need Proof? Look at Layoffs. Or how often Nintendo has reshuffled its Top Brass compared to Xbox or PlayStation. PS and Xbox are playing by different more demanding rules. Self imposed of course. But still.

I don’t think they will ever release previous versions of The Last of Us or anything on Switch 2. They don’t want us realize the older ones were more solid.
With the talk of the Switch 2 having comparable graphics to the PS4 which is huge. Who wouldn't want to see a revamp of Mario and friends on a huge redesign to catch up with the times? Nintendo could do some serious changes with Mario and could make so many people excited to see the positive changes!
Man if this is true I can imagine playing Ratchet & Clank on my switch on the go oh man this will be perfect Sonic Mario and Ratchet & Clank the switch will be super perfect well that's if PlayStation goes with it though I better not hold my breath
Okay are these physical copies or is this all digital and cloud gaming only? Does anyone know? How come none of this has been talked about at all? Why are folks thinking it will be physical releases like an astro bot switch cart only for the switch 2? I have not seen anyone discuss this.
All the money they spent on concord they could've made a new killzone or Sly Cooper or developed a new psp, ya know ones that's consumer friendly. Killzone would've been a much better bet than concord it already has a built-in fan base!
I don’t believe this will transpire aside from one off’s with specific reasons (i.e. MLB The Show). That said, it makes infinitely more sense for Sony to put their stuff on Nintendo’s machine with what will likely be a guaranteed 100million+ userbase as opposed to, oh, say a console with a meager install size.
It would make sense for Sony to put their PS4 catalogue onto NS2. Nintendo fans would lap up Gods of War, Ratchet and Clank and Spiderman. If they put current releases, that would be insane!!
@@TonyKanameKuranonly because they will loose the license to major league baseball if it doesn't. They are court ordered to do it. That is the only reason or it would remain exclusive. Google it
@therealjaystone2344 no they flat out said that when game sales started to show signs of slowing down in there hardware they would release to PC to start the sales up again. They never said anything about Nintendo. But if you believe that a company that is worth more, and makes more then Nintendo is going to destroy there hardware sales like Microsoft go on and think that. Google it Sony is larger then Nintendo they don't need to do this. Nintendo had one successful console after a long time of not having one. They are not the top of the Idustry Nintendo are the company that would stand to make more off there software by selling everywhere. Why isn't Mario or Zelda on Xbox or playstation? Because it would destroy there hardware sales. Microsoft is on this position because no one is buying Xbox the same can't be said about Sony
Sony and Nintendo should combine forces again and release a joint console. Imagine Nintendo games running on Play Station hardware 🤩 Peobably not gonna happen since Nintendo benefits more from their consoles being hybrids from now on
Wouldn't be surprised if Intergalactic's budget is bigger than Concords. Playstation has to come up with money somehow, they've wasted 5 billion across Bungie, Concord and live service.
Microsoft didn't account for 74% of gaming revenue on PlayStation in the month of December, it's actually the other way around. 3rd party game sales have always been the lifeblood of the platform NOT 1st party games. They have effectively been the inverse of Nintendo since forever. In regards to the rising cost and long development times of PlayStations 1st party games, I think their most likely solution is to just simply make fewer 1st party games. A lot of people look to Microsoft for what Sony may do in the future but I think it's probably better to look at how Valve evolved over time instead.
Sony isn't experiencing any growth (pause) as far as sales are concerned. The PS5 sales are behind the PS4, game sales aren't what they should be and game development now takes longer to produce than a Star Wars film. XBox started out with a 1st party drought now Sony is experiencing a mid-generational 1st party drought. Farming some of these big budget 1st party games out to other platforms might be the only way to increase profit margins if console sales continue to be marginal or stagnant.
Look there is nothing wrong with exclusive content on whatever platform it is but if you wish compete successfully in the gaming market as a company you must eventually make those exclusive games available on other systems and platforms! Gamers now have multiple ways they play and consume content so it makes sense that Sony would want to put their games on other consoles. I say bring it on! It is about time imo. We more interconnected these days and we play many games cross platform already Sony needs to adapt or they won't survive very much longer.

I'd rebuy those on the Switch just for the history of it.
Bring Stellar Blade on Switch 2 and Xbox
I wish Nintendo would bring back Crash Bandicoot. I remember when the Nintendo 64 came out and we had Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot they were a couple of my all out favorite games!
Just imagine what Spider-Man would look like on the switch!
I mean knowing Sony, is this even true? Idk if they’ll bring their first party games to Switch 2 that being Spider-Man, Miles Morales, 2, The Last of Us, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, etc.
I've stuck with Nintendo since the first NES and they deserve the entire industry way more than the others.
Another day, another switch 2 video. Love you RGT❤
@minecrafter3448 Nintendo is in its own league just like PC.
@ true
Nintendo is excluded from that because Nintendo is the only who has exclusives that sell like gangbusters every time.
They need to bring Sly Cooper back and end the story and bring it to Switch 2
They will bring him back and they will sell it on the PlayStation brand. That's PS5, PS6, and there eventual PS hand held. You want PlayStation brands your gonna need a PlayStation this whole topic is simple wishful thinking
Helldivers 2 just feels like it would do well on the Switch 👀
Best closeted Nintendo RUclipsr ever!
Of course they are! MLB The Show can't skip a huge market so Sony will keep making Nintendo versions of it for years to come.
Nothing triggers RGT like multiplatform games. I’m all in with getting rid of console wars and bringing console peace. We win when we can play as many games as possible on all platforms .
It would be interesting. Purchase God Of War on The Switch
Don't make me laugh. I don't want to play Sony games in the first place, that's why I don't buy Playstation
What’s up with the mix of Bloodspot theme music in the background?
"YOU USE COMPUTERS AS AN EXAMPLE"
kekekek
Lego Horizon releasing on switch was mandated by the Lego Company. It the game wasn't tied up in a licensing deal with Lego theres no way it would of been ported to switch.
What next? ActivisionBlizzard porting an offline edition of World of Warcraft to the Switch 2, complete with a select number of expansions?
It's a win-win situation for both parties, esp. to Nintendo users.
It makes sense, i got a few games that i bought twice, one for ps5 and another for the switch.
I think nintendo will be the savior of this game slight game crash. If everyone puts their games on switch 2 i think it will help with this lull of no games dropping plus new way going about upgrading systems
Concord did a number on Sony man.....
Nope, DEI did 😂
Sony is worth billions I don't think there hurting the worth more and make more then Nintendo google it
@@chuckgreen41 *Maximum Cope*
@@chuckgreen41 , Sony takes in more revenue but less profit. Nintendo has higher margins.
But still.
THANK GOD RGT’S A HULKAMANIAC! He’ll know enough to let go of his materialistic possessions, hang on to the wife and kids, dog-paddle with his life all the way to safety!
This would actually be GREAT for Astro bot sales! It along with all the other peak from Nintendo might make this the BEST CONSOLE OF ALL TIME
Does that mean we can play the last of us on the nintendo switch 2?
If it comes to PC, it could be a possibility.
@@TonyKanameKuran Could be. 🤔
Tlou is literal garbage. Most overrated franchise ever
HAHAHAHA The ponies are going to love this especially spawnwave 😆😆😆
I stopped watching spawnwave because the bias is insane. He’s so quick to cover a bad story about Xbox but never says a bad thing about PlayStation lol.
Spawn Wave even brought up the idea of Horizon long before RGT put this video out
@@jimmyjimy1 me too he’s always reporting on PlayStation and Nintendo but only bad news about Xbox at least rgt has bad things to say about everyone 😆
@@jimmyjimy1concord is indefensible not even Jon
@@jimmyjimy1 Yall are insane. Jon has been called a fanboy for every single system that shows you he is doing something right
I don’t think they will ever release previous versions of The Last of Us or anything on Switch 2. They don’t want us realize the older ones were more solid.
The music in your videos at the moment, is that from command and conquer?
We need a new Sly Cooper and it needs to be on Switch 2
Now RGT is going to make one PlayStation video and claim that he’s not a Nintendo RUclipsr! 😂
With the talk of the Switch 2 having comparable graphics to the PS4 which is huge. Who wouldn't want to see a revamp of Mario and friends on a huge redesign to catch up with the times? Nintendo could do some serious changes with Mario and could make so many people excited to see the positive changes!
I wanna Ape Escape on Switch!
Nintendo will never go multi platform, Nintendo will be mighty 😂 last console standing
Man if this is true I can imagine playing Ratchet & Clank on my switch on the go oh man this will be perfect Sonic Mario and Ratchet & Clank the switch will be super perfect well that's if PlayStation goes with it though I better not hold my breath
Ratchet and Clank on Switch 2? Dont gotta tell me twice
If Sony goes multiplatvorm, i think they would handel it this way: Release Sony console > release other consoles 1,5 months later.
there not
Okay are these physical copies or is this all digital and cloud gaming only? Does anyone know? How come none of this has been talked about at all? Why are folks thinking it will be physical releases like an astro bot switch cart only for the switch 2? I have not seen anyone discuss this.
All the money they spent on concord they could've made a new killzone or Sly Cooper or developed a new psp, ya know ones that's consumer friendly. Killzone would've been a much better bet than concord it already has a built-in fan base!
If It’s Not Spider-Man I Don’t Wanna Hear About It lol😂
The Last of US 1 and 2 on Nintendo Switch 2??? I would freak out - in a positive way:)
Neverhappen
@stevenvarley2865 I think you are right, but still...some dreaming here;)
Please no.... I'm so sick of TLoU.
@@masterquake7 You don't have to buy it:) But a lot of people would be happy:)
The PlayStation fan boys would get upset 🤣🤣
Herman Hulst still has the same job as before. Hideaki Nishino has Hiroki Totoki's old job.
So you’re telling me there is no slippery slope?? You’re telling me I’ve been lied to?
This is where the industry is headed. The only one with exclusives is going to be Nintendo.
We will see if Destiny 2, or even that upcoming Destiny mobile game, comes to Switch 2.
So, all the playstation games will be on the Nintendo Switch 2?! THAT'S HILARIOUS! 😂😂😂
Look at MLB The Show 25... and it's coming to Nintendo Switch One.
Never going to happen
@@TonyKanameKuranonly because they will loose the license to major league baseball if it doesn't. They are court ordered to do it. That is the only reason or it would remain exclusive. Google it
@@chuckgreen41same thing when Sony say about pc
I just want to play the most updated Madden or NCAA football on the switch 2 or a pc handheld without jumping through hoops.
"I don't think Herman Hultz is the right person for the job."
💯
Sean can you please make a video talking about the nintendo switch 2?
Sony and Nintendo should combine forces again and release a joint console. Imagine Nintendo games running on Play Station hardware 🤩 Peobably not gonna happen since Nintendo benefits more from their consoles being hybrids from now on
Sony Corp's new ceo wants live service games
If Sony gonna portPS games, then plz port over The Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper series.
The only way to fix this game crash is to plan games better before development
Problem is all these companies bought out all their developers and now need to make up the money they spent.
concord 2 for switch 2?
I hope Devil May Cry 5 comes to the switch 2
