My wife and I are from New York, and have been in Scotland and England the past week for our honeymoon. Had to leave a comment because looks like we were in Keswick about the same time! We camped out in Wasdale that night, was beautiful despite the rain. Your videos inspired us to rent a California for the trip and we have been having the best time. Cheers!
That’s amazing! And Wasdale is a real gem, shame you got rain but, that’s England for you 😄 We absolutely love New York, haven’t been for 10 years but hopefully we’ll be back soon. Hope you enjoyed your trip over the pond 👍🏼
Haha our aging dog Ruby loves following Jack on screen she can’t keep her eyes off him. Are you thinking of another meet up next Feb and if you are don’t pick the first weekend again as we are away on a reunion again, take care you 3, Barb and Robbo 👍👍
😄😄 he is a bit of a looker so can’t blame her. No plans to be honest but I think it’d be better to have a spring/summer one, ideally with a fire, outdoor cooking and drinks 🍺
lol, our Duke did the exact same. Two lads fishing and he ran up to them and pinched there Sannies, the thing was they were still in thin sandwich bags and ate them whole. Straight down the gullet, next day he passed the bags which were empty. What a magic trick..
Thank you for all of your videos and entertainment during the year. I've thoroughly enjoyed them. All the best to the 3 of your for the festive season.
Bit unlucky with the weather again but people forget to mention the Air Quality is priceless. The Cumberland local Sausages are really nice. And Keswick has nice Fish and Chips. I like Buttermere valley less traffic about.
When you said you had planned ".....to go up high....." at the start of the vlog my wife laughed as thought you'd said "......go for a pie! " 🤣 Hope the weather imprives for your next trip! Might need to try that site on a future trip sometime - look good especially for the dog!
😄😄 someone else said the same! Going for a pie is certainly something you’d hear us say 🤪 It’s brilliant, often busy and not cheap but location makes it worthwhile.
Me and the Mrs where at the same site this weekend just gone, probably past eachother. I'm guessing by when the video went up after you left there was a flood warning in place we stayed another night then left. Amazing site and lovely in the winter. Nice and quiet 👌 May we pass paths again 😂👍
We really love your videos. You gave us an extra laugh on this one when you said "we were really hoping to get up high". I said to the Mrs, "I almost thought they said they were hoping to get a pie". She insists that what you did say and wondered which sort of pie you were going to get 😂😂😂. Really appreciate your efforts making these.
Our first Lakeland camping experience was at the camping and caravan site at Keswick under canvas over 40 years ago. Returned many times over the years. Due a revisit in my new camper van. Jacques is lovely and such a goof.❤
Your story of Oscar reminded me of a story a waitress told me a couple of years ago. We were in a rather nice cafe, called Ginger and Co in Shrewsbury and the waitress was praising Raffy. I explained he wasn't always well behaved and she told me about a chap that went into the cafe a couple of days prior with his very old Lab. The poor old lab failed to show signs of any energy... until he saw the low counter that displayed all the cream cakes, donuts and pastries. At that point he leapt up with the energy of a six month old Springer and frantically chomped as many cakes as he could. What he missed with his mouth he swept to the floor with his thrashing front legs. All the while, his owner screamed out at him to stop. The waitress explained that the entire display ended up on the floor, which would have been 40 to 50 items!! Opps. Great vlog guys.
😄😄😄😄 Oscar was very similar. In his later stages he’d struggle to walk into a cafe, then slump on the floor like a starfish, waiting to pounce on the waitress as she walks past with a tray full of food!
Well look at me finally catching up with your life! 😂 🥰

Keswick is one of my favourite places too 👍👍👍
It has absolutely everything, including the crowds 😄 but that’s perfectly understandable 👌🏼
Owd chap said to me once. If it didn’t rain there wouldn’t be any lakes would ther! He was right like… merry Crimbo Moochers !
Absolutely! Same goes for waterfalls too.
Can’t really complain can we? As it gives us our rich colours 👌🏼

Never fails to wow does it. I get very distracted by the views that way on 😊
It’s like a green screen 🤩
@@Professionalmoochers one way of looking it (ha ha).
We have some great memories on that site , great camera work and you're right about to prices in the King's 😮
Thank you 😁
Strange that, I was served by the same person too 🤔

😂😂😂 quality! That’s what you call skill and character although, I bet they weren’t how you described him on the day!
Ooh. That looks like a special fire-lighting knife. To go with the mushroom-knife and the asparagus-snipping blade etc. etc.?
Great video as usual.
A knife for all occasions 😉

Buttermere is amazing and we need to spend more time there!
Air quality is without doubt a huge factor to feeling good in the countryside 🤩

We did sun-tue and it was fairly quiet onsite 👍🏼
Great video but the highlight for me had to be Sarah, Jack, the lead and the tree 🤣
Like the two stooges 😂😂
Lovely videos merry Christmas to you all 🎄🎄🎄x
Thank you 🙏🏼
Merry Christmas to you too 🎅🏼

To be honest, we’d take a pie over getting up high 😄😄
Thanks a lot, appreciate you coming back to endure them 😉

😄😄 thanks 👍🏼
I love Jacks jacket - where is it from? I also get you with recall I have a chocolate lab with selective hearing 😂
😄😄 chocs are ace!
It’s from a company called ruff wear, not the cheapest but we had the same one for our old lab and it was great
@@Professionalmoochers thank you 😊
Our border terrier, Eddie, has the most selective hearing ever. It’s why he’s called Eddie the prick.
😄😄😄 sounds like he’d get on with our little 💩
Where are you 😞
😁 still here, should be back out soon 👍🏼
