- Happy new year to all. Just a quick daycamp and a brief chat about my plans for the year (sort of 🤔). It was a nice little time in the woods even though I get caught in a bit of a downpour .

Nice one mark. You really nailed the general thoughts on the balance of life and ‘me time’ I’m kinda lucky as I’ve got an understanding wife who ironically likes her ‘me time, and no kids, so I essentially get booted out most weekends! Saying that, we have an old dog who gives me the guilt trip of staying away so I’ve yet to do a proper weekend away…it’s just lots of local overnighters…not that I’m complaining…I loves it👍

Nice on Mark, always good to get out for a bimble and a brew. Great test of the kit too with that weather! Enjoy the Swanndri, I've had mine for a year now and it's been awesome and such a nice addition to the kit. Thanks as always for bringing us along 👍

Like your ideas of getting out for various day camps to check out for possible overnighters. And yeah, it’s all about balancing life/work/camping etc - never easy. And wild camping is quite time consuming compared to other types of hobbies I suppose….🤔 Nice one Mark 👍
