I would say use a vitamin c in a pump. The more you take out the top of a dropper bottle or lid it allows air to get in the bottle. And we all know how unstable c is. I'm trying Isdin sunscreen. They won a Nobel Prize for their formula with plankton. They say it can reverse the signs of photo aging.
I like that you say to use a routine that works for you. I’ve gotten compliments for years on my skin, and I use a cleanser every 2-3 days, rinse morning and night with a wash cloth, and use a sunscreen moisturizer every morning. When I tried adding products to get ready for my wedding, I saw a massive decline in how my skin looked. Allergies, dryness, oiliness, etc. I will likely use a vitamin C serum at some point, but I’m ok to stay away from retinols and embrace my wrinkles. But again, that works for me, it may not work for everyone else!
I totally agree with the fact that applying less really works. I discovered it when I skipped doing my night routine/day routine sometimes and just applied a cica gel and after 9-10 hours I felt my skin feel good. I realized that sometimes missing out on the routine is actually the much-needed window your skin needs to work for you.
I was totally on board with buying his 4 step system... until I saw the price. I so wish I could afford that, but sadly that is way out of my budget. What I love about Dr. Youn is that he always gives us alternatives so that even people on a budget can benefit from his advice. Maybe one day I'll be able to give it a try.
honestly, just get to know your skin type (dry, oily, sensitive) use a good facial sunscreen and you'll be doing more than enough to be thankful 40 years later. my mom has good skin because she started using (probably very cheap because she was super poor) anti-aging creams and facial sunscreen in her early 20s, while her younger brothers - who live in a very hot and sunny place and never used anything bc theyre male and dont care - all have dry as hell skin and legit look at least 20 years older than her despite being way younger. while the creams she used didnt prevent her from gettting wrinkles, she doesnt have saggy smile lines or wrinkly eyebags while her brothers do, nor those visible spot-like freckles you get with aging. and although obsession with looking younger is becoming terrifying these days, i think this type of preventive skin care is more about taking care of the future you. these days, with our technology, it takes very little effort to not have to age like an old peasant from the medieval times.
If you are an absolute beginner, just start using sunscreen everyday, a good facewash or cleanser and moisturise especially at night. Once you get this routine right, you can modify your skincare as per your budget anytime. Cerave is good brand to begin with.
Another important thing to note is that results take time. You’re not going to see much results from any skincare product in less than thirty days. Most products will take much longer to see anything drastic.
I had a phase where I tried a lot of different skincare products but it really didn't help and actually worsened my skin... Now I only use some serums, natural oils in the evening an moisturizer, to me less is more when it comes to skincare !
I've been using Differin gel for years now because I used to have bad acne, it helped a lot. I still use it almost every night. I heard that it is a good retinoid for anti aging though I don't think I'm there yet. I have noticed though that my forehead, which is where I apply it, has no indication of creases or wrinkles while I can see some forming on my eyes.
Plz don't apply near the eyes, though. We lack sebaceous glands in the eye area & the dermis is far thinner/more fragile. I've noticed Dif gel MUST help forehead & smile lines bc ppl seem to not have usual "11" brow lines+ smoother [non] smile lines of most 10yrs younger than them. I'd ask derm for safe eye care that won't counteract where Diff gel meets eye cream/serum.
Tried differin for years as a teen and it didn’t work one bit lol. Just shows how everyone skin is different. Tret is my go to now and have had wonderful results
I use Dermalogica skincare because my dad is the head of R&D so we get $100 worth of products every month, and it works well for my acne-prone and sensitive skin unlike most American brands that I've tried. The only caveat is the price, which I don't have to worry about right now but once my dad retires, I'm going to have to find a more affordable alternative.
Keep using Dermalogic as long as you can. I’ve been using it the basic routine for over 20 years and it is still one of the best at its price and availability. Tell Dad thanks.
I have used Obagi and ZO skincare and both were definitely way too much for my dry, sensitive skin with melasma. It got to the point where I couldn't even put on a basic gentle moisturizer without my face burning. May be great for some but not me.
I've seen some influencers that are using as many as 10 different products. I wonder about bad interactions from using so many products, especially if they're from many different companies.
THANK YOU for telling us a clear and simple skincare routine! I'm gonna go buy what I need right now, just what I need, no extra fancy stuff, I'll stick to the basics! ✌️
Thank you for telling people that being aggressive with skin CAN be good. My skin has been GLOWING because of my new skin routine, with just the right levels of gentle and rough that works for ONLY ME. ❤Everyone is different!❤🎉Never give up, you can do it!
Sensitive skin gal here. Cleansers I've found that didn't irritate my skin: -La Roche-Posay-purifying foaming face cleanser -Avene oil free cleanser (discontinued) -Cetaphil (normal to oily) -Bioderma-Sensibio (pink bottle) Anti-aging: *Retinaldehyde -Avene retrinAL Face Moisturizer: -La Roche-Posay-Toleriane double repair -Avene-Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream -bioderma-Sensibio AR Body: La Roche-Posay-Lipikar Triple Repair Moisturizing Lotion. (Also used on face without issues) Sunscreen: -Avene mineral -ISDIN mineral -Baby mineral sunscreens Obagi wrecked my skin, even just the cleanser. Skinmedica products worked well, but the price was too hefty.
i feel like all my years of avoiding being outside has helped😂. i drink lots of water, more than any other beverage. i think listening to your own body is helpful. i personally am vegan so i don’t have any dairy and my skin has gotten even better over the years from never eating dairy or meats. also: sunscreen and water. don’t underestimate sleep as well. granted i don’t always get the best sleep but i really try because there’s nothing better than waking up feeling truly rested 😊 less is more in skincare, 10 steps isn’t necessarily best. use less and add more only if you feel you need it
I firmly believe you only need Vit A & B in the PM followed by your moisturiser & Vit C in the AM followed by your SPF & exfoliate once a week with an AHA / Amino Acid complex as you have the added benefit of BHA. This works wonders for my skin & I really don't feel the need to incorporate other actives. Simple & effective
I am so agree with Dr. Youn that some skin conditions might not be ok with actives ingredients. I'm 38 y old, no wrinkles barely crows feet, never use any peeling/active exfoliator that actually peeling the skin ( I only use toner with cotton pad, peeling gel (love it coz, cause nothing on my skin) or sensitive friendly SA face lotion once in the blue moon if I want to smoothen up the skin) but I don't using it every single day, just occasionally. I have super sensitive skin and I'm so happy dr. Youn mentions about thin skin. My skin has already been like this since I was young, back home, my fam will call me rotten tomatoes sometimes, whenever I just came back from outside at noon time, some south east asia are no kidding hot, and my parents house just 15-20 mnt walk to the beach/ sea side. My skincare steps are so simple Cleanse Tone Serum Moisturize Day time, I sometimes do not apply serum and just add sunscreen. I normally just get moisturizer with SPF because I'm mainly indoor. My moisturizer is actually vit C essence, but the consistency are way thicker and than my serum so I put it as the last step before sunscreen if I use one. for weird reason majority lotion and cream form doesn't work for my skin, it's been 4 years I'm using Japanese brand and few Korean that I already fell great with it, it's also help my rosacea flare up last time (it was second worst skin prob experience, small mistake and I triggered the allergic my eyes and nose are weird, my eyes completely looks like the blue avatar coz it's swollen and felt like pulling with cartoon witch nose). I stopped using face powder since 2009 and no make before especially now, didn't use one for my wedding too. But what I think really help my skin is on and off no sugar (can't stopped it like forever because once a while would love to have cake or other sweets) and low carbs diet (I didn't mean no carbs at all, just low to moderate carbs (I only did Keto once) and I do IF unintentionally because I'm too busy in the morning that I only can start drinking my matcha/ coffee around 11.a.m ish sometimes around 1-2 p.m And since late 20's (around 28 y old to be exact), I had hormon issues due to my weight I believed, I didn't get my period for 5 months and I started had crazy huge painful pimples (thank God it's all gone within 3-4 months ans nobody noticed that I ever had those big like marble with yellow fuss pimples) due to this condition I clean my diet took supplements less than a week I got my periodsand it's been all good since that time. I did smoothie fast for a week before cleaning up my diet and started taking supplements such as glutathione, collagen, vit C and e or pre mix. Now I consume more stuff including ceramide, hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed collagen both from cows and marine, turmeric, NAC, ashwaganda, magnesium, hatomugi, Bulgarian rose oil supplement and probiotics, also I did consume evening primerose oil capsules before. I know it's bit much so I devided into 2 sometimes 3 in a day, some in empty stomach, after brunch and dinner. I personally like something from the inside. I sometimes take a break Both supplements and skincare at least min 4 days and max can be almost 2 weeks for supplement especially if I eat bad. Skincare about a weeks max, just wash with unscented baby soap I'm good and put nothing after. So sorry for the long comment
Hi! Your tips are simple and easy to follow. They gave me a clear and smooth skin for less money.I don't feel the need to apply any foundation or concealer 😊 I do have oily and sensitive skin so I use sun powder because my sunscreen looks greasy.I like it that way so I can skip moisturiser and it also makes me feel that it's actually a good sunscreen. Thanks for your tips! ❤
Thank you so much for this video, Dr Youn! I never knew before when to put on syrums, oils, or creams, and in which order. I changed up my routine to match your suggestions, and I already feel like it's making a difference! Such a relief 😇🤗
Exactly, diet should be first or second, before or behind sunscreen An edit: I see people are reading this so; On the topic of diet I really recommend the channel: Dr. Sten Ekberg He talks about diet and I think some viewers of this channel will also like his channel too, If you do decide to watch it, get ready for many hours of learning, no really I'm not kidding
All good tips and 100% correct but i think by the title he’s approaching it from a cosmetic angle instead of health. Plus Dr Youn is educating about skincare products to lead up to promoting his products. Its clever marketing too!
Definitely be careful with tretinoin if you have sensitive skin! I've been using it for over a year now for acne and while for the most part my skin has reacted okay to it, this past winter was rough! My face got so dry it was peeling (I also have eczema so I'm sure this contributed). I ended up changing my routine up and only putting the tretinoin on every other night and adding Eucerin Ecemza Relief as my nightly moisturizer. Cleared up the peeling within a week! Hoping to just outright prevent any peeling this winter by sticking with this routine 😂
You can sandwich your Tret. After washing your face apply moisturiser, wait 10mins or more if you like and then apply Tret, wait 10mins again and then apply moisturiser and since you have very dry skin i would apply an oil/cream (i forget what this is called) its to seal all the moisture in. I also have a bedside humidifier i use to help.
I only use tretinoin in the spring/summer/early fall months because the cold dry winter climate where I live does not interact well with it on my face either.
When I was younger I had very oily cystic acne prone skin. That didn’t settle down until I was in my 30s. Now in my 50s, my skin is more dry, but I still, occasionally, get small acne cysts. I have stopped using sulfates and the like on my sensitive skin. Although, I would love to afford better skincare, I have found the elf brand series Holy Hydration line is working quite well. I even like their acne stick for the occasional breakout.
I use three toners. One is a homemade one which contains ACV with the Mother...of course. 1 part ACV /4 parts distilled water In a plastic spray bottle with a cotton pad. That is what I use in the AM...along with actives. In the mid-PM, after cleansing...I use pure Rose hydrosol as toner with different actives. Bedtime is no Toner and occlusive moisturizer with Retinol Oil and one other active. My skin has improved some by following these guidelines...but I have a long way to go to feel confident. Aging SUCKS. After "cosmetic" or "medical" microneedling...I use an OTC Green Tea Toner that some Estheticians and Dermatologists have recommended in the past. I try to follow these guidelines of Dr. Youn. I trust him. I cannot afford to pay 250 dollars per month for three bottles of a Dermatologist's product line. I appreciate those dermatologists who will recommend alternative and more affordable skincare options...like Dr. Youn.
Dr. uncle can you please make a video of skin care routine according to different ages. Right now I am 20 years old girl what type of product I should use in my skincare? I have combination and little bit acne prone skin, and pigmentation corner of lip or little bit around of mouth. please recommend some product or make a video related to this type of issues PLEAE PLEASE PLEASE...🥺
I'm going to be 36 this year and I've never had any kind of skin care routine, I pretty much washed my face with water only and did a face mask once or twice a year. I've just noticed my skin ageing a lot more recently (I was very ill stuck at home for the last decade but I have been working outside for the past year) so I went and bought a bunch of skin care in the reduced section of TK Maxx because I thought at least that would be the good stuff. I'm a bit overwhelmed by it and I'm trying to hear myself up to having a daily skin care routine, preferably one that doesn't involve needing running water because I don't have that in my caravan. I'm neurodivergent so I thought learning about skincare first and getting excited about it might be the way to talk myself into wanting to use these products on my face daily but I'm not sure if it works like that, I don't know if I can force myself to hyperfocus on this but I am worried because I am starting to look different and it's kinda hard to accept change.. It took me a really long time to recognise my face after a facial injury which left my nose pushed slightly more to one side and now the eye it's pushing against looks like it's aging faster or unevenly because it's got more slack in the skin from where my nose is now. I hope making the rest of my skin look a bit better might make me feel better about that.
It sounds like you have had a difficult time of it! I would start with making sure you cleanse at night and rinse with water in the morning. You can use bottled water applied to a gentle cloth in the morning and micellar water at night, which doesn’t require rinsing. Apply moisturizer, and then sunscreen in the morning and start there. Once you can do that daily start adding one step at a time but those are the very basics imo!
Can you do a video on Bakuchiol? I recently heard about it as I think the retinol I use is making my skin burn when I use certain moisturizers. I would like to try Bakuchiol and see if it helps.
I know they say that peptides is for mature skin but whenever I use a peptide sheet mask or serum my skin brightens and I stop getting acne it’s incredible 😮
Funny that rule about moisturizer after retinol because I've been seeing other dermatologist say make a sandwich of moisturizer-retinol-moisturizer to avoid irritation.
After toning & appuing active ingredients/serums, I spray additional hydrating agent in the form of a non-aqueous, nanogold containing spray and then apply my moisturizer. It works really well for me.
Watching this video taught me my routine is pretty complicated 😅. I had so much success with vitamin c, niacinamide, lactic acid and peptides in reversing hyperpigmentation that I just kept going.
I have psoriasis almost exclusively on my face. All I do is cleanse and moisturise. That is really effective at keeping flare-ups to a minimum. And considering people are asking me what I'm studying in school, when I'm in my 30's, I don't think I need to look younger...
I had chronical psoriasis (scalp, legs and back) since 17 only treatment that really worked for me is diprosalic. Drops on scalp and cream in other body areas. It healed within 2 weeks like a miracle. I used on back and legs over diprosalic cream (which isn't easily absorbed by the skin if it can be) to seal it with Vaseline. Since it's cheap medication maybe you could give it a try?
Note: it was recommended by my dermatologist. The Vaseline part was an adaptation I did because I noticed my clothes would remove the cream from my back and legs.
Thanks a lot. That's a great help to me, a complete beginner to skincare. But I'd like to know what kind of exfoliator I exactly need for my acne prone skin. Can someone kindly share me your knowledge?
Hi Dr. Youn, thank you for this! I use a serum at night (per the manufacturer's instructions) that contains vitamins c and e, peptides, retinol, bakuchiol, niacinamide, ferulic acid, and more (it's their "All-in-One Face Serum." Do I still need to use another vitamin c serum in the morning, or am I good with just the night time serum application? Thank you!
I never expected a whole lot from skincare ingredients. I have used retinoid products for years and it does not do a thing for wrinkles but it does improve texture which is the most any active ingredient does aside from correcting dark spots and evening skin tone. When you have aging skin there is little anything can do for you aside from cosmetic procedures. I never saw the benefits of chemical peel It just burns your skin off temporarily showing newer skin that grows back the same wrinkled skin accept with a greater risk of hyperpigmentation for darker skin when you can simply exfoliate.
chemical exfoliating gave me dehydration lines, and i was only using it 1-2x a week.im gonna go back to exfoliating every 2-3 weeks. i know im not prone to wrinkles or fine lines cuz my mom doesnt put anything on her skin including sunscreen, shes almost sixty and still no wrinkles. she does have sun spots.
Are you talking about lines around the eyes? I’m noticing the same thing! I look so crepey there now and I thought it was from retinal. Will try exfoliating less!
Hello. How do i use AHA (lets say from Cosrx)? Do i apply it before toner and other steps or do i apply it alone and let it be for the rest of the night?
Same principle as to why I do not use hand gel. It kills off all the good bacteria on your hands and dries out your skin. I just make sure to wash my hands with soap and water when needed. And I wash my face with an approved cleanser that does not irritate my face and nothing else.
I actually do all of this with my skincare routine, minus a toner. I use pure aloe vera gel instead. And yet my skin is still a mess with premature aging, acne and a whole city of enlarged pores/blackheads 😩 I give up..
I get a years worth of prescriptions for Trenton from my family dr. When I get my annual physical. You don’t need a specialist in order to get it. You can start at the lowest percentage and work your way up to prevent flaking and peeling 😊
Thanks for the tips doctor Youn! I have a question. First the context , i turned 19 a while ago and my skin care is pretty basic, _extremely basic_ infact, it's a cleanser that suits my skin and a moisturizer and sunscreen. sunscreen I started using only recently about a year ago. I exfoliate, and use face packs and masks weekly too. My question is - should I be including the anti-aging active ingredients already? Since you put great emphasis on it. My skin looks pretty good and clear, it's not glass skin and has visible pores and i do have tanned skin from sun damage throughout all these years where I did not use sun protection. I also do not drink alcohol or smoke. So, is it still important for me to use active ingredients? They're pretty expensive where I'm from but i could still take them. Also, I had heard that anti-aging ingredients are best used when you're 25+ so I'm a bit confused here.
I have a type of dermatitis (I cannot remember the spelling) but it is caused by an imbalance in my skin micro biome. The doc recommended 1% hydrocortisone (not the cream, the Vaseline-like stuff) mixed with 1% clotrimazole cream on the effected areas. He also recommended Nizoral shampoo, cleared it up almost immediately.
If your skin isn't used to an active, like say a rotenoid, or something like an A- or BHA, would they still be effective if you started by buffering an active or A-/BHA serums into your moisturizer?
Hi nice video! I wonder, you suggest foaming wash for oily skin, while most people/influencers i know suggest nonfoaming one and pick gentle. Is foaming also a gentle face wash? Cause much foam doesnt mean its cleaner, like theres SLS. So im confused
I work at a beauty store and whenever somebody comes in looking for foundation, or they say there’s isn’t working. I always ask what are they doing for a skin care routine. Because that can make a massive difference in the way you are makeup up lays on the skin. We all have a texture, but there are definitely products to help tone down the texture. I’m 42 and I love wearing make up, but I love when I hear the compliment, you have great skin instead of I love your make up or what foundation are you wearing? I also don’t look my age.❤ 42 and people think that I am in my early 30s. I am here for that all day every day.😊 sometimes I think also that these brands come out with products that are individualized ingredients. Well, yeah, you may think that you’re saving money but in all actuality, you are not. The price tag may be small, but if you find one serum with multiples of those ingredients, you will actually be saving money and probably getting better results.
Thank you for the wonderful video. I’m wondering what strength tretinoin works best? I know you have to start low but what strength works the best eventually I’m currently using .05 %prescriptive strength. A friend has moved up to 0.5%. Funny enough for me a retinol that was nonprescriptive made my skin more sensitive, red and dry.
I have a salicylic acid serum that I use at night. Am I using it at the right time? I'd like to start using a retinoid serum too as I am getting older now (and yet still acne...). Do I use them together?
I made my own skincare routines, and it can get pretty complicated. Lucky AI and the internet can provide a lot of knowledge, and my skin is slowly but surely looking better than ever, despite being naturally young looking. Definitely skin barrier is often overlooked when it comes to a proper skincare routine.
I have tried Retin-A and all it did was make my skin peel and break out non-stop. I put moisturizer on after letting the Retin-A soak in and the peeling and flaking wouldn’t stop. I quit after a month I looked so bad. There is no hope for my skin when that’s how it reacts on the lowest dose.
I saw my cetophil bottle and clicked right away. I’m terrible about following asking care routine, and I’m 56 years old. I don’t think I’m ever going to be foo fee like my mama, daughter, or friends, (foo fee aka adult female lol) fortunately I stopped spending time in the sun pretty young, on account I had children to support and worked with out a vacation for 15 years. I do go to the beach a few times twice a year, my hubs got sunburned so bad, that I’m diligent about sunscreen when we go, but I’m not very good about the night time routine, I wash my face when I bathe, then use Cetophil afterwards. I rarely wear make up, but I rarely leave the house, since my husband has worked from home since 2019, I even still have my groceries delivered right into my little wagon on the front porch.
What do you recommend for pregnant women who can't use some products containing retinol or hydroquinone, etc..? Im struggling with hormonal acne and dont know what's safe to use
I had similar concerns as I’m breastfeeding. My baba is 18 months now so I’ve been unable to use good skin care for over 2 years now. I looked up the “bakuchiol” recommended here as I’d never heard of it before, and it’s safe! Also peptides, vitamin C etc
Oooh. I love YT's new label on the video now (is this new?) It says "From a doctor licensed in the US".. I wonder if they ask for license number now to verify.. 🤔
Shout out Dr Youn!! I just watched re runs of My strange addiction and he was the doc who was speaking to the girl who was addicted to ass injections 😂

Finally one doc to speak about overdoing unnecessary skincare when you dont even need.
I totally agree with the fact that applying less really works. I can definetely recommend you look into Korean Skincare products. They are way ahead in the game and still really affordable.

So many folks show a lot of skincare with too many actives. That has never been good.
In the States, Adapoline is available over the counter. A good option for oily skin.
I've seen some influencers that are using as many as 10 different products. I wonder about bad interactions from using so many products, especially if they're from many different companies.
Agree!

Obagi wrecked my skin, even just the cleanser.
Skinmedica products worked well, but the price was too hefty.
i feel like all my years of avoiding being outside has helped😂. i drink lots of water, more than any other beverage. i think listening to your own body is helpful. i personally am vegan so i don’t have any dairy and my skin has gotten even better over the years from never eating dairy or meats. also: sunscreen and water. don’t underestimate sleep as well. granted i don’t always get the best sleep but i really try because there’s nothing better than waking up feeling truly rested 😊 less is more in skincare, 10 steps isn’t necessarily best. use less and add more only if you feel you need it
I go for simple skin care. Thanks for educating us. 😊
This is my routine also, except i exfoliate once a month (still repairing my skin barrier) and i include azelaic acid at night (acne prone)
@@dlilwonWhat is your choice exfoliate product?
My skincare steps are so simple
Cleanse
Tone
Serum
Moisturize
Day time, I sometimes do not apply serum and just add sunscreen.
But what I think really help my skin is on and off no sugar (can't stopped it like forever because once a while would love to have cake or other sweets) and low carbs diet (I didn't mean no carbs at all, just low to moderate carbs (I only did Keto once) and I do IF unintentionally because I'm too busy in the morning that I only can start drinking my matcha/ coffee around 11.a.m ish sometimes around 1-2 p.m
And since late 20's (around 28 y old to be exact), I had hormon issues due to my weight I believed, I didn't get my period for 5 months and I started had crazy huge painful pimples (thank God it's all gone within 3-4 months ans nobody noticed that I ever had those big like marble with yellow fuss pimples) due to this condition I clean my diet took supplements less than a week I got my periodsand it's been all good since that time.
I want to know what your skincare routine is too. Can you share if you're willing?
Thank you so much for this video, Dr Youn! I never knew before when to put on syrums, oils, or creams, and in which order. I changed up my routine to match your suggestions, and I already feel like it's making a difference! Such a relief 😇🤗
You are the best doctor ❤😊
I didn’t know your brand was cruelty free, you’re the best
A big thing for me is just being consistent everyday, day and night.
Simple and good.
Wow YOUR skin is gorgeous! You look so youthful too!
I thought for sure diet was gonna make the list
Exactly, diet should be first or second, before or behind sunscreen
An edit: I see people are reading this so; On the topic of diet I really recommend the channel:
Dr. Sten Ekberg
He talks about diet and I think some viewers of this channel will also like his channel too,
If you do decide to watch it, get ready for many hours of learning, no really I'm not kidding
Hydration is my problem. It makes a big difference. I look better in the winter when I can stay better hydrated.
Definitely! Sleep is also super important
All good tips and 100% correct but i think by the title he’s approaching it from a cosmetic angle instead of health. Plus Dr Youn is educating about skincare products to lead up to promoting his products. Its clever marketing too!
@tnicholson365 sleep is the biggest problem for me. So many of my health and beauty issues can be put down to my insomnia.
this is very helpful. thank you 🌷
Definitely be careful with tretinoin if you have sensitive skin!
You can apply moisturiser first
You can sandwich your Tret.
Thanks for the blue print
This was a super helpful video, thank you
I use three toners.
Youn.
I loved this upload Doc and agree with all you have said in the video....
Keep goin Doc... we love ya
❤❤❤
The caption says RUINING YOUR SKIN.... and the bottles on the pictures looks EXACTLY like the products on my shelf.😂😂
Thanks for the video! When I use an exfoliator then I shouldn't use Retinol at this day or?
Your technique and approach to Beauty has me thinking about taking care of myself differently and More carefully
All great advice!!
Can you please make a video of safe active ingredients skin care routine that can be done for women who are pregnant?❤
Thank you for this very helpful video!
Dr. uncle can you please make a video of skin care routine according to different ages. Right now I am 20 years old girl what type of product I should use in my skincare? I have combination and little bit acne prone skin, and pigmentation corner of lip or little bit around of mouth. please recommend some product or make a video related to this type of issues PLEAE PLEASE PLEASE...🥺
In the above video Dr told this👇
Skin care mng
Steps:-
1)Cleanser
2)Exfoliating Serum
3)Sunscreen
4)Makeup
Thanks Dr. Youn for sharing this information. I was wondering if may be possible to talk about the use of PLEXR for sagging skin. Thnx
Thank you so much !
I do enjoy your videos Dr Youn. You encourage people to really think about plastic surgery and possibly not do it!
I use bakuchiol because i have eczema and therefore sensitive skin. I love it.
Hi doc🧡In what order shall I apply niacinamide, azelaic acid, spf 50 and an eczema friendly moisturiser please? I have dermatitis and rosacea. Thanks
If it works for you, then no need to change though!
Same here. I use an acne gel which combines Salicylic acid, Lactic acid and Glycolic acid.
@@lizabetx483 what is the acne gel?
@@Ashanti11190 Cerave Acne Control Gel with 2% Salicylic acid. I use it every other night because I also use 0.25 Retin A.
@@Ashanti11190 They literally spell it out in the comment.
Thanks
Thank you!
what about hyaluronic acid? is temporary but ALL skin care is. gives me moist dewey look and is relatively inexpensive and non drying.
Alright alright. I keep seeing Dr Youn’s videos but haven’t tuned in to watch. But I finally did today
All I have to say is…..FOLLOWING! 🙂🙂🙂
Thumbs up for calling out MLM
Every Vit C serum as well as others are so Sticky!! Please recommend products that don’t feel greasy and sticky on my face. Thx!
Honestly I look forward being able to buy Youn Beauty products from outside of the US.
Agreed. My skin was best when I had little to no products and worst with multiple products.
Same, I'm about to turn 19 and I'm not sure if I should use the anti aging ingredients... because I look much older than my age
@@a.felicity4655 i dont think you looking older than your age has to do with your skin, unless you already got wrinkles
What about the retinol oil? Which going in first moisturizer or the dry oil retinol?
DID YOU HEAR MEEEE???? LIKE THIS TOPIC IS WHAT I NEED RN.
tysm!!!
If your skin isn't used to an active, like say a rotenoid, or something like an A- or BHA, would they still be effective if you started by buffering an active or A-/BHA serums into your moisturizer?
Do you ship to Canada or only in the USA? Thx
Im using tretinoin after moisturizer, maybe i should switch
Can we use vitamin c serum in morning?
Hi nice video! I wonder, you suggest foaming wash for oily skin, while most people/influencers i know suggest nonfoaming one and pick gentle. Is foaming also a gentle face wash? Cause much foam doesnt mean its cleaner, like theres SLS. So im confused
greetings, can i ask from which age is it better to use this skincare routine?
After using a cleanser in the morning which should go first, the clindamycin or the Garnier vitamin c serum? Not sure which is lighter
Is this correct?
Morning
1. Gentle Soap/Cleanser
2. Garnier Vitamin C Serum
3. Clindamycin
4. Sunscreen
Night
1. Gentle Soap/Cleanser
2. Garnier Vitamin C Serum
3. Clarifying lotion
4. Peel white lotion
Glad to know I'm not the only one who prefers skin care over make-up. I know you can do both but if I were to choose one,...
Moisturiser than retinol than Moisturiser again is the best combo
You are my favorite RUclips dermatologist!
He is a plastic surgeon.
any delay should be applied from serum to moisturize
Can you review chuando Tan.
Can I use tretinoin around the eyes?
I need to get back on Obagi. I stopped using Retinol about a year ago and I look like sh*t now! 😅
Hi Doc, I followed the steps you mentioned. But for me, serums and creams arent suitable for my skin
What do I apply first if I want to use 2 serums that is hard to tell which is thinner. The plain no arrive ingredient first or the one with active?
