It is my one and only dream to take a Israelux trip to the Holy Land with you Tara Lee Cobble. I am reading the Bible for the first time and with the Bible Re-Cap I am learning so much. Anyway, daydreaming about the tour and ended up here. Somewhere around 13 mins I unexpectedly burst into tears of gratitude and love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Hearing you say that I will not disappoint God with my sinful ways because I am a child of God and Jesus died on the cross for me hit me in a very powerful way today. I am only at 17 minutes now but before I watch the rest of the video, I just want you to know that God is using you to help me learn who He is, you are a wonderful speaker and teacher. As a person with autism I have struggled to understand something I read in the Bible but your Bible Re-Cap videos are life changing and life giving. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🛐💟✝️ God Bless You, Amen

I’m a little late in listening to this video, but I have to say Tara-Leigh has actually gotten me excited about reading the Bible for the first time! She makes her bible recap podcasts so interesting that I don’t want to skip the actual reading of my bible. She is a charismatic and knowledgeable speaker/teacher. Praise God for Tara-Leigh Cobble!

Thank you for this specific video on this very specific Easter Sunday. I love that you push us toward the Bible, the only book that has zero misplaced misspelled commas or words. I’ve become a mostly daily reader and I hope I spend the rest of my life learning who He is one read through at a time.

Grateful for the explanation about God remembering, I mentioned what I thought which cleared it up for me (whew!). The explanation regarding the burning bush was awesome.
HELP, At the beginning of day 30 there was the offer of a video that summarized the book of Exodus, how do I get to that video?
Thank you, I am enjoying (especially hearing the pronunciation of names and places😁).

1 Timothy 2:12 - But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
1 Corinthians 14:34 - Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
Titus 2:1-15 - But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: (Read More...)
1 Corinthians 14:35 - And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1 Timothy 2:11 - Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

I would encourage you to go to the "Enduring word" website or app and look up those passages. You are completely taking those out of context. It IS Biblical, a woman should NOT be a pastor, reverend, ect, of a church. In other words, a woman should not have AUTHORITY over a church/congregation. A woman simply speaking and teaching is not having authority. Some of those words in the original text do not mean what they were translated to in English. The Bible wasn't written by people who spoke English, and the people who translated it to English didn't always translate some of the words the best. For the record, I do not agree with everything Tara says/promotes, like "Christian yoga", for one....
      God bless!

I quoted the word of God Word for Word. Nothing was taken out of context.
And what does that website you are suggesting say contrary to the holy Bible about a woman “being silent” in the church?
      Please do tell.
Or did you forget that part of the Scriptures? God did not only speak it through his apostles once, but he said it three times that women must be silent in church.
Do you believe that God is incapable of keeping his words preserved correctly?

      @Revelations and Visions
Did you know that the original bibles weren't written in English? There were no numbered chapters, no numbered verses, no punctuation. And the men who did the translation to English were not inspired like the original texts. While the majority of the translation is fine and doesn't change the theme of the Bible, it does in some areas, hinder understanding. There are some words that should've been translated differently. It would probably be wise to check certain words and their meaning in the original texts in which they were written. Be a Berean.

@@TinaMarie75 did you know that the people who translated the Hebrew and Greek scriptures for king James were highly educated in their language skills?
Yes, I’m aware, as everyone else is that the Bibles were not written in English. And if you do some real actual research, you will find out how painstakingly they all had to agree upon each word that was translated.
      This was no small task.
But you make it sound like the people who translated the Bible into English didn’t care what they were translating and they were uneducated.
So please do more research before you try to fabricate excuses for disobeying God.

@Revelations and Visions Like I said, It doesn't change the theme or message of the Bible, but does hinder understanding of certain things. I've done my research, obviously you haven't. Research that word "silent" in the original text (Greek) for that verse. Paul used that SAME word in 1 Timothy 2:2 as in 1 Timothy 2:12, and it was translated as "peaceable" (without contention). The reason for this is because in these ancient cultures (as well as some present-day cultures), men and women sat in separate sections. The thought is that women interrupted the church service by shouting questions and comments to their husbands during the service. It was lawful for men in public assemblies to ask questions, or even interrupt the speaker when there was any matter in his speech which they did not understand; but this liberty was not granted to women. The word for submission literally means, “To be under in rank.” It has to do with respecting an acknowledged order of authority. It does not mean that men are more spiritual than women or that women are inferior to men. It helps to also learn about traditions and practices of that time. Maybe you shouldn't put so much trust in "educated" men, they definitely made some mistakes in translation. There are many other examples of this throughout the bible.
Maybe these "educated men" had their own little biases about women....and just FYI, I do not endorse women's lib, or anything like the woke mob promote, but the truth is the truth, whether you like it or not, whether you agree with it or not, a mistake is a mistake, and some words throughout the bible have definitely been lost in translation. God bless!

Oh man…. She’s preaching to men🙈 I guess I knew this because she regards “ladies and gentlemen” in her podcast. But I wanted to ignore that if I’m being honest… but I can’t as a Christian…. Praying for her, but I can’t keep with the recap 🙁 1 Timothy 2:12-13
