      What does it matter? True that we will all pass out in the end but to completely ignore the impact we are having? I’m only a kid and I’m not even sure how my children / grandchildren will survive if we don’t do anything. Each year we ignore climate change is an exponential amount of years less for future generations of all creatures on earth to live. And you might say, oh we’ll all get wiped out eventually anyway so what’s the point? The point is for living beings to be able to live a happy life. Regardless whether or not they get extinct in the end, the more we ignore it, the less happiness everyone will get to have.

    • @BvngeeCord
      @BvngeeCord 3 года назад +3

      @cheap cigs You are right, we are way overpopulated. Way way way overpopulated, and it's arguably one of the biggest causes of our problems. But does that mean that the best solution is mass genocide? Just blindingly wiping out half the planet? I personally think that we have the technology to do it in a better way. I don't know what it would look like, but it shouldn't have to be mass genocide.

    • @Gulpinator
      @Gulpinator 4 года назад +4

      The climate change itself is. Still. Not. The matter. The problem is that it's going way too fast and we dumb humans are responsible for letting animal species go extinct and deforesting essential rainforests.

    • @ShifuCareaga
      @ShifuCareaga 4 года назад

      @@Gulpinator part of what you said is accurate. Part of it is off the mark. Humans are responsible for:
      Pollution
      Deforestation
      Local weather changes and ecology alteration
      Climate change is neither the issue nor human mediated. It also doesnt cause species extinction. You have to eliminate entire ecologies via climate change and we haven't done that. In our time the planet has been hotter and colder. But if you drive a species to the brink via over harvesting deforestation and pollution and then it is stressed on ecology change... Yes that is an issue. For example asphalt roads change the pH of runoff water and enter streams. Add some oil and pesticide and herbicide and sewage and well of course amphibians and fish will struggle. Now create clear cutting which leads to erosion and the creeks silt up. Add dams and interupt migrations. Add powerlines and radio pollution and kill bees and birds... Now you have a mix for inland species collapse. None of that has ANYTHING to do with carbon dioxide or temperature.
      The sooner environmentalists stop peddling lies the sooner we can actually sell people on real solutions. And btw ones thst create jobs and make money. Problem is they support democrats who want no private sector growth and after all the most inefficient player in economics is government.
      The US leads in pollution reduction for a reason: private sector growth and free market change.
