Great video Michael, one that folks really need to watch. I’m 53, retired a while at 45 and through the years I have learnt the importance of having multiple income streams. I have 25% of my capital invstments in an ART, 35% in index funds, and the balance spread across other investment accts which produce a cumulative of over $ 1.3M for me annually. Zero debt and all is going well, my financial consultant has been my number one help in achieving all this throughout the years.
In my honest opinion, one should live below their means & try to invest. I know it’s difficult but it's also necessary. I've made lots of money mistakes in the past but I don’t regret it as I've learnt from them. Now I’m just focusing on the s&p 500 and waiting for a few years.
@@kristennn850 Yeah that's a great plan. You should focus on a good ETF of the s&p 500, relax back and watch it compound within the years. You could become a millionaire in good time.
In my case Klaus Cassius has helped me to do that proficiently. I'm not a professional so I don't really have experience in investment strategies. I get capital and leave a consultant to handle the rest.

Channeling funds to the right ventures can send anyone on their way to leaving the workforce early, retirement isn’t in age, it’s in financial numbers.
Investors have to get creative and examine firms across multiple (perhaps overlooked) industries to find bargains in other to have a portfolio that beats the market.
@Scott Riley this is impressive, i one had a trader who handled my trades and it wasn’t this profitable. You got any possible means of getting through to Frost?
Right, you can avoid the pitfalls associated with lifestyle inflation by consulting a well grounded advisor, to help plan your short- and long-term goals, it all depends on proper guidance. I've watched my income generate wealth over the past 2 years and 6 months, I now own a house fully paid, and with at least $2.2m sitting in savings thus far. @@drummerboy0 yeah he invests more money monthly instead of weekly. I wonder how much difference it would make if you invested more funds say, twice a year or even less?
Thanks Michael, very informative video. I just have a question please: you mentioned at the beginning of the video that if you invest average of 500$/month then by 45 years you'll make around 2.6 mil. I can't really understand how investing around 270k in ETF over 40 years will make you 10 time that amount when the return is roughly 8-10%. Wouldn't that mean that you'll have 27k profit rather than 2.7 million? Is there something that i misunderstood or i got wrong? Many thanks
I believe he means cumulative interest in the profit margin he's taking about. 8-10% is year on year so your base amount is always going up for what that's based on.

I am not an expert, but just by looking at many, I mean many ETFs returns, they are actually lower than just putting money in the bank, why would people still choose EFTs?
Just wondering how much money ur supposed to invest , i know the answer is as much as ur willing to lose however for example is taking $100 and investing in 4 different passive ETFs ( $25 each ) a good starting point or not enough money to start with?
Hopefully you have figured this out by now, but if not… you would be better to save up a larger amount and invest into one ETF at a time because you have to pay a brokerage fee for each purchase. So if you have $100 and you invest into a single etf with a brokerage fee of $10, you now have $90 invested. Whereas, if you invest in 4 x ETFs your brokerage fee would be $40 and you would only have $60 invested.

Thank you so much for doing this video Michael. The best 20min education I've received of late. Well worth the watch, and yes, I subscribed whilst watching your video. One topic I think you might also like to cover is other side of making money. I.e. Paying tax. Whilst I know this is more of a topic for an accountant, I'm sure you've already had to tackle this issue of paying tax on profits and CGT if you've sold any part of your portfolio. So, could you talk about whatever you have encountered on the topic of tax and any suggestions/advice for ETF investors. Again, great video and thank you.
There are a lot of strategies to make tongue-wetting profit that the average joes don't know. . Personally, the financial-market for me seems the only way forward with my long time horizon (accrued roughly $457k in gains since Mid 2021 ) but if you don’t have that fortune of time it’s a tough market out there almost nowhere feels safe!
If you’ve got patience I believe it’s a great time to invest… I’m no expert but as Warren buffet said he’s seen this happen a number of times throughout his life
@@raychristopher7797 I've known I had wanted to start investing for a few months but just haven't been brave enough to start due to the market so far this year. I have $60k I want to transfer into an S&S ISA but it's hard to bite the bullet and do it. $457 is a huge milestone, Please what's your strategy? I will love to have an insight
@@georgerobinson2021 I began with a fiduciary portfolio advisor by the name MARTHA ALONSO HARA . She’s verifiable and her works ethics is in accordance with the US investment act of 1940. Her approach is transparent allowing total ownership and control over my portfolio with fees very reasonable in comparison with my investment-income. Excellent video Michael...
Hi Michael, This is one of the best breakdown of what an ETF is. Thank you for explaining ETF's precisely and clearly without any jargon. This video is from 2021. Just had a question regarding the brokerage account, is vanguard better for a brokerage account in terms of fees when compared to self wealth?
Thank you, this video is very helpful and informative.
Thank you.. I have been meaning to start investing and this is the best video I have seen.. Very helpful and the way you explained everything has given me confidence and idea on investing.. Thanks 😊

Loving your videos, so easy to understand. I’m a brand newbie investor learning about the market. A question… what allocation would you give for the 3 fund portfolio please?
You caught me throughout the video, I had to pause for a second just so I could smash that like button. Lol
Thank you!
Thankyou really enjoyed your video, looking forward to more .
Hello again,
Are you able to do another video on the bond / fixed interest etfs broadly including coverage on VGB, VIF, VBND, VCF and AAA
Thank you for this video.. At what age do you recommend adding bonds to your portfolio.. and what percentage.. ?
Small cap managers beat the index much more than large cap managers by similar active vs passive studies. More like half or more than half of small cap active managers beat their benchmark over the long term.
Hi Michael, I love the content of all your videos and it has helped me diversify my portfolio to weather the storm! Would you be able to do a video on Gold & Silver investing as a strategy for wealth preservation please?
Thanks a lot for all your hard work...
Great suggestion! Will add it to the list
Hi! Are you able to do a vid on the best way to invest for your kids for the future? I.e is it best to do it in parent’s name or kids name? Can you do either and what are the risks/benefits? Thanks!

Hi Michael love you work
Are you able to do a group/comparison video for property etfs namely VAP, SLF and DJRE and VBLD. I would love your opinion on these three either as a group or individually only
This video is done very well. Thanks
Edit: Is IG a good market to start with?
This was excellent!!!
Curious to see how many beginner's are still doing stocks and how they are going?
Hey mate, clear and concise video. Would you recommend ETFs over Superannuation? I'm 41 and am looking into investing.
This was amazing! So helpful Thankyou!!! Please make videos again :)
Really enjoy you explanations on etfs. Could you do an analysis on vanguard the fees seems to be about the cheapest in the market. Interested in VAS for asx300 & VGAD for top international.
Thanks! I actually did a video covering Vanguard ETFs here: ruclips.net/video/c0T17e4VYIo/видео.html
Very helpful like your vids
Nice very clear and simple
Awesome Michael, thank you. Any tips for which of your videos to watch if I am 46 years old and about to step my super into SMSF? Looking for some ideas due to the fact that I'm looking to improve my returns over my standard super fund but my timeframe to retirement is shorter. Kind regards nad thanks again. L.
Thank you so much for this video! Not only was it straight to the point, but it was also super informative and engaging. As a teen I have been looking to invest because I want to gain financial freedom by the age of 20 so this video was really helpful!
I love your videos, where is the new content?
Would love to hear you feel the same about ethical etfs? If I was switch out the Vanguard options for VETH and VESG and just sit back, then all good? Or do you recommend a different plan?
great video
thanks mate explained it so well. im new to it all but looking for cannabis or hemp ETF in australia but cant find any am i doing something wrong?
Hello again
Are you able to do a video on gold and silver broadly including coverage on PMGOLD and ETPMAG
hi michael love your explanitaion but just want to know that if i keep investing in small amount of etf monthly wouldn`t it brokeage fee gone to ruin my fund ? lets say if i invest 200 monthly in etf it would cost brokeage charge 9$ lets say it has taken fund 9% . what is your view on this ? and wahts your best solution will it be you think ? thankss
Very useful.
Great info im noob and am excited to learn as im an old guy starting late lol
Whats your thoughts on cmc markets or is the broker you talk about in this video better? Thanks
What are your thoughts outside of Vanguard like Commsec?
Also property (incl VAP SLF DJRE)
Question: When you say topping up each month, will this most likely mean a brokerage fee each time you top up - if using an online platform?
Thanks very much for the video! Helpful for someone learning like me.
I too have this question
@@nameattemptsLater so answer is yes. Best not to deposit amounts all the time because brokerage adds up!
What’s the best and safest platform to buy stock on in Australia ?

Mr Nicholas James has been a real blessing to me and my family i started trading with him after i lost my jobs and i have been making huge profits to support my family now i trade full time Nicholas James is an amazing trader the very best, i recommend you trade with him
Was this an add for self wealth ?
Hi Michael, I have opened an account with selfwealth, what is the referral and where to put it?
I am not an expert, but just by looking at many, I mean many ETFs returns, they are actually lower than just putting money in the bank, why would people still choose EFTs?
how do you know if bond etfs will increase?
"It's done by a human or a fund manager" I knew those guys weren't human!
😂
@@beaumitchell yea figured as much , ended up investing $260 in crypto , not long after this comment , now im on $510 and dropping 😬
