I did mention Aixprobot because I use it. And in all honesty, it is a very good auto-trader, especially for beginners, and anyone who wants to make good profits daily because you can withdraw daily.

My advice is always to keep the majority in ETFs that cover multiple sectors. Then have a couple stocks, as a small percentage, picked out that you feel personally attached to or interested in. That way you can mitigate a lot of the risk but also have a personal touch to your portfolio. I feel this mitigates some of the emotional downsides or disinterest people have with investing. TBH I would stick to US based stocks like NASDAQ, I started in Australian stocks (as i live here), however there was much more money to be made (imo) in NASDAQ than ASX.
I totally dissagree with investing in the asx is only for the long term . Would said you can play a long game and a short game . I personally don't really know much my self , but know enough to make a couple of grand in as little as 2 weeks give or take .

My advice is always to keep the majority in ETFs that cover multiple sectors. Then have a couple stocks, as a small percentage, picked out that you feel personally attached to or interested in. That way you can mitigate a lot of the risk but also have a personal touch to your portfolio. I feel this mitigates some of the emotional downsides or disinterest people have with investing. TBH I would stick to US based stocks like NASDAQ, I started in Australian stocks (as i live here), however there was much more money to be made (imo) in NASDAQ than ASX.
I totally dissagree with investing in the asx is only for the long term . Would said you can play a long game and a short game . I personally don't really know much my self , but know enough to make a couple of grand in as little as 2 weeks give or take .

My method is to buy quality firms, anticipate to hold them regardless of what happens, pay up but not too much, keep track, sell only when necessary, and be ready to course correct.

Average bear markets last about 10 months. If you can’t get passed < a year without panicking, then you won’t make it as a long-term investor.
I feel like nobody ever mentions the most important aspect of generational wealth building. You have to be able to protect your investment. Don’t buy it if you may, at some point, be forced to sell it. You HAVE to be able to exit on your terms.

I have 35% of my capital invstments in an IRA, 25% in index funds, and the balance spread across other investment accts, in cumulative of over $ 5M. I receive income from my rental properties too. Zero debt and all is going accordingly .
Living below ones means & investing is difficult but it's necessary. I've made lots of money mistakes in the past but I don’t regret it as I've learnt from them. Now I’m just focusing on the s&p 500 and waiting for a few years.

The stock market has been a really tough one this past year, but I watched an interview on CNBC where the anchor kept mentioning "...Kathy Genelle Britton...".
