Slieve Beg and Cove Mountain, Mourne Mountains Northern Ireland

- Join me once again as I explore the Mourne Mountains. On this hike I will be climbing Slieve Beg and Cove Mountain. Leaving from Carrick Little car park, I head up the lane right of the car park past Carrick little cafe. Continuing up the lane I pass through the gate at the end of the lane with Slieve Binnian to the left of me, I follow the path past Annalong forest to the right. Once past the forest, turn right and travel through Annalong Valley before climbing Slieve Beg then onwards to Cove Mountain.
This hike is set in the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland.

A beautifully atmospheric day in the Mournes👍 Loved the views from Annalong Valley up to the cliffs and crags of Cove and Beg👍 and then the fantastic views from along the tops😊 A fantastic shot at the cairn on top of Cove Mountain👍 Brilliant to meet you both out on the mountain doing something we all love😊
Thank you Gerry, it's such a beautiful walk up Annalong Valley. Beg and Cove are two really nice mountains. Phoenix really enjoyed seeing the Devils Coach Rd and we popped by Cove Cave on the way back home to see it but didn't go right through it till the very top. Think he needs another few inches on him yet before doing Devils Coach and Cove Cave, but as I tell him there not going anywhere.
He really enjoyed finally meeting you Gerry, think on this trip the mountains had to play second fiddle to you.
