    I’m pretty sure you got the arms mixed up. I watched all 3 videos and I’m glad you got it sorted out but you didn’t have to go through all that trouble. The longer rod with the red end links is actually the toe arm. And the shorter arm you installed first is supposed to go on the top to adjust camber. While watching the video I was waiting for your to try and fit the short arm on top. That front arm is actually the trailing arm and doesn’t need adjustment.

      Thanks for your reply, yes I've learned more about these arms now and what was told to me when I brought them was quite wrong, unfortunately the shorter arms were not long enough to use as the camber arms in my opinion as they would have been threaded out way to far to be safe, hence I made my own instead! If the car was only slightly lowered or at the factory height the shorter arms would work as camber arms I think!

      So the huge one fits in the camber arms?

    • @ScubaMade
      @ScubaMade  4 года назад +1

      No, they're actually the rear arm for adjusting toe, or if you get 2 sets and cut one down and tap new treads in, like I did in my other video that works!

    Hey man, my car is having the same problem. The tyre is shredding on the inside walls of the tyre. Can you send me the link to purchase these arms that you used? I also have the same car I believe. Bmw 320d e92 m sport coupe

      I brought them off eBay over a year ago, the toe was easy to fix but to get the camber right I had to make my own arms, if you brought 2 sets of the toe arms and cut 1 set down to size and re threaded the hole, like in my video about making custom control arms they should fit and work awesome!

      @@ScubaMade thank you for getting back to me! could you enlighten me about the arms i will need please? my tyres are shredding, i was told maybe the car had been hit on the side and the frame is bent or something. so i was told to get adjustable arms but i have no idea what arms and what length they are :/
      i would be very grateful if you could teach me what arms i need and what it looks like please. i watched all your videos but i got confused what arm is what :/

      I'm sorry to hear about that, If I were to do this again I'd probably just buy 2 sets of the longer arms:
      www.ebay.com.au/itm/RED-ADJUSTABLE-REAR-TOE-ARM-CONTROL-KIT-FOR-BMW-3-SERIES-E90-E92-E93-06-11/302274066059?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20180816085401%26meid%3Daa6af2d0947547c4852c00ee154988b4%26pid%3D100970%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D263693002629%26itm%3D302274066059%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2481888&_trksid=p2481888.c100970.m5481&_trkparms=pageci%3A16112bb2-d5e2-11e9-869f-74dbd180f9cd%7Cparentrq%3A28f5d30916d0a4e884300dc8ffaa2e7c%7Ciid%3A1
      And I'd cut one set down to the right size for the camber arms (top arms) and re thread them and bevel one end where it mounts to the knuckle and put them in and not worry about the front arms, just replace the rear arms and adjust toe from there, if that makes sense!!

    My car look like that from from drifting, the guys a Navi’s told me the chassis was bend but it was really the control arms and toe arms that was damage

    • @ScubaMade
      @ScubaMade  4 года назад

      Yeah that's good! Pretty easy to fix too, hope you got it all sorted like I did in the end too!

    Hey man did any of the joints develop any play over the months ?

    • @ScubaMade
      @ScubaMade  4 года назад

      Well In the 2 years I drove it I never had a problem, it handled really well and I've put the same arms in my new car now too, it took me a few goes to dial them in as I did it at home but once I got them right, they're great!

      Scuba Made nice mate! I’m keen to pick up a set but just worried about Chinese bushings failing early haha

    • @ScubaMade
      @ScubaMade  4 года назад

      Yeah I guess they can be hit and miss sometimes, but all mine have still been good! and they're pretty cheap to replace if they wear out, as long as they last a few years first that is!

  • @johnmorrison9072

    The Toe arms are the long ones to adjust the toe 😅

    • @ScubaMade

      Yeah I wish the seller I brought them off had of told me that! But I learned that back then anyway luckily!

  • @SonnyTheSwede
    @SonnyTheSwede 3 года назад

    Nice! But think you should tightening the bolts when the car i in driveheight. Otherwise there will be a lot of stress on the
    bushings :)

    • @ScubaMade
      @ScubaMade  3 года назад

      Thank you, Yeah I think you’re right, I probably should have!
      Did you see that I had a bolt snap in another video? That was scary!!

    • @danielskrskr
      @danielskrskr Год назад

      Correct. You need the weight of the car to be on the bushings before tightening. I've found that the easiest way is to jack the wheel hub until the car is lifted off the jackstands. Cheers

    How is the ride quality on these arms ? Any change

    • @ScubaMade
      @ScubaMade  3 года назад

      Probably not to much of a noticeable change except it seems to go around corners a little faster, and at speed it feels better, and the big change is that the tires don't wear out so quickly! and it looks better.
