If Takuma comes back at KOF XV, they should put this theme in his character trailer. I can imagine Marco Rodrgiuez (GMOTW) teaming up with Takuma and a new Kyokugenryu disciple as well (or Kasumi Todoh). I know they are rivals & have different fighting styles but having her in their team just to help Kasumi for her quest on searching her father would put an end to their quarrels & to restore her family's honor by rebuilding their dojo with the help of the Kyokugenryu Karate.
One of the best Art of Fighting themes to come and be set as a classic, it's as if the dragon 🐉 and tiger 🐅 mend to rule heaven and earth and made this Kyokugen OSU!!!!
Same with Terry and the rest of the fatal fury and art of fighting cast. Like Ryo is supposed to be canonically the first kof champion and Geese's first rival. They barely do anything and don't even have an impact on the plot in kof. Geese, Yamazaki, Blue Mary, and Kim are the only ones who actually do stuff, grow and develop in these games.

Geese just used the Sakasaki, and kidnaped the _non that important treat of a man's_ sister. Not a plothole writting flaw or anything, just that Ryo is fair enough understandably third place of the first 3 main heroes. Still an absolute badass though, but someone gotta be the least badass at some point

in fact I'd dare say without the creators of art of fighting and fatal fury kof street fighter wouldn't exist at all because well they created street fighter 1. even at that street fighter 2 was never meant to have a combo system and had a ton of versions, at least snk tried to move the series forward every year since 94 with running, short hops, super jumps, max cancels, etc. things that wouldn't exist in capcom until at least the vs series. I say this because I've played most major fighting franchises for hundreds of hours in my life. as well as knowing my stuff with proper research
+monstersinthecity I do agree that some characters from SNK are cooler. The fact that they have full names gives it a realistic edgier feeling. However, there's a simplicity that goes along with Street Fighter's gameplay that gives it a more mainstream appeal. Fan of both though.
