yo dumbass they have clearly said its a brilliant bike in its own right. Everything has its downsides you don't have to be so butthurt about it oh and btw the Unicorn introduced monoshock suspension to our market. It's not like no one knew of its existence but India used to have bad roads and still does to this day apart from which a lot of commuter bikes are used in villages and the load bearing capacity of dual shocks is always better than a monoshock not to mention cheaper. Thats why they were so popular not because no one knew anything about riding fast but because riding fast was never the norm in India
im not butt hurt about its downsides. Infact i do agree with some.Just like every other bike has its own. But i do support that r15 was one of the revolutions in india.. keeping in mind that they were the first to provide affordable bikes and qualities that still speak for themselves till date .. not because the others couldnt provide, but because they choose not to. Of course it makes sense as u say about the roads.... but it was them that sped things up and stepped up the competition. if not u would still be riding lunas on the highways with no other option at hand.. lol ;) .but u say that riding fast was never the norm in india . i second that mate. Ask and rider today or then, he would tell u better.
I have an R15 and I totally agree with these reasons :) :) but that doesn't mean that I don't love my bike. A request to all the haters of this video ... Every bike has flaws, we have to accept them. This video is made in Fun nature .. No need to get sentimental over it.
All points except first are true... No matter what isbthe riding position your body get used to it if you are riding regularly... and if you ride once in a while.. even Goldwing gonna give you fatigue..
man you butthurts... every bike in this damn world even busa, panigale, f4 and even h2 have numerous reasons not to buy so what in the earth is R15 a wanna be sports ..
iam a r15 version 2 owner 3years using. not a single problem in it. and day by day my love more increse for this bike. because no bike can match its build qualty looks. and better max speed then aany other 200cc bike bike.till now in india.lov
My r15 v2 300 km rest luss riding my lower back no pain .... My r3 2 days before restluss riding around 475 km no lower back paining for me ..... But video few poinds its true .. Service cost is little bit higher .... But my r3 expensive service cost around touch superbikes .... I like this video .. Thank you guys
I have ride my r15 V2.0 for 300 kms in 7 hours in a single ride in a road with ghat section but I have never feel back pain or any heating issue. every thing differs from one's own position of riding .
11000 kms on my beloved r15 v2. It is a sports bike and has its own way of seating posture. You get used to it pretty fast. No high service cost at all. Please dont mislead people. R15 is not just a bike it is an experience. Give it a chance and the bike will grow on you. I love my r15 and wont trade it for any bike at all!
MotorBeam It feels lot powerful even riding with a pillon. And city riding is a lot of fun now. The bike pulls like a train even past 110kmph. And doesn't loose momentum after deaccelerating, Means it picks up the power from where it was left. No shifting of gears required. Wind blast is a concern though.
Lovenish Guleria you are right pickup is very good filters through traffic with ease. I did a 128 kph with a pillion who is in mid 50kg and 122 kph with a guy of 70+ kg and 133 kph solo. Is your bike stock?
I Own R15 V2 2017 And not facing any kind of problem i am getting excellent mileage and bike is much refined then any other bike in the market ..... appreciated motorbeam 3 out of 6 reasons not to buy is accurate .....but no bike can compete r15 in this price range. Power ,comfort mileage all are secondary primary is reliability, refinement and handling.
Are u serious cbr150r......come on motorbeam NOT EXPECTED FROM U r15 is far better than cbr150 and more successful in market. There is hardly anY power in lower range .....
i really like the way of you motorbeam to show the reality of these bikes. it is really funny and very enjoyable. more funny video makes it more interesting and interactive.
B preet These are the disadvantages wat else you should call them if its a track bike then it should be used on the tracks not on the streets or long ride even i own a gixxer sf ☺
They didn't mention any flaws in performance or its handling, the R15 does what it's built for so how is that a punch to owner's face ? What they pointed out is a common problem in almost all track focussed motorcycles. Take the RC 200/ RC 390 for instance. If someone wants to ride in the city with a pillion they can go for some commuter. It's stupid to judge a sports bike on commuting standards.
Maheshwaran AJ Ya i have no problem in that atleast my sf is way more comfortable and mileage friendly thn r15 and in terms of built quality and engine both are japanese companies both are better and in terms of power torque r15 is a winner i have no problem in accepting that
I'm using till today (09.12.20) 40000 km . I never felt any problem.because, I service my bike after 70 days . It's costly, but my bike never disappoints me. It's amazing bike that's why I care too much.
guys i am driving my R15 from past 8 years. Apart from some strain in wrist (that to in traffic jams ) there are no discomfort riding this bike. Its a very good machine especially designed for circuit and cornering. And the service cost is not that much high as depicted in the video.
Ok, so no one in here's gonna talk about his cringy over acting which almost made me cringe to death ? No doubt this content n it's creator can definitely blast off its viewer's head with terrible migraine 🤦!!!
dear motorbeam the issues you have mentioned are issues of riding a sports bike actually.. so according to you every bike like yamaha r6 yamaha r1 are all bad because they all will have these same issues ...you don't really seem to know what you are talking about here ...a biker buys a bike to make himself feel refreshed enjoyed and thrilled everytime they get on the bike and take it on a run. Everytime i ride my R15 V2 i appreciate it for giving me the actual escence of riding. ... you will never get bored riding a yamaha r15 v2...you dont get any ... literally any bike till this date ... which rivals it at that same price segment... you really dont own a R15 v2 ... i am sure about that... on a yamaha r15 v2 you can learn soo much so that you will be able to upgrade to a 600 cc or a 1000 cc bike ......such kind of things cant be done on any other bike... in that price...... i have rode my R15 for 20k kms and now also whenever i get on it ... i get excited and appreciate her for being such an awesome piece of hardware. Its really a sports bike... And if You are not physically fit for riding it Go get yourself a Pulsar
5 year ownership and didn't find any wrong with my bike R15, you people don't have right to misguide the viewers....... the company need to file case against you to misguiding their customers and misguiding about their products and brand name....... Many times i travel from Kanpur to Lucknow and didn't find any problem.... it is all about your taste for the sports bike, R15 is designed at all aspects of the international sports bike standerd.....
I don't know why do people crib about the riding position, majority of the essence of this bike lies in the riding position itself. I bought it solely because of the rising position and ofcourse of the way it looks. I don't ride it regularly.. it's more of a leisure toy for me... been over 6 years of ownership and have clocked about 7k kms on it... but yes.. people who want it for a regular use may want to look at other options as it may not be the most practical for that sort of use.
Exactly! R15 V3.0 is the way to go!! But.. since we don't have it now.. 1.I am not that tall.. so wouldn't care that drawback! 2. Pillion comfort?!😂 Power to weight ratio is all I care! 😂 3. No low end power? No problem for me! 😂 All I want is smooth and powerful 8-12k rpm!😂😂 4. Headlamps? Aftermarket projectors way to go! 😉 5. Service cost? *Coughs coughs Bajaj and KTM! 😂😂 *Benelli just killed itself.. *Kawasaki are bringing parts via ckd.. it'll take time.. 😂 *Suzuki and Honda still suffering due to poor skilled labors!😂
I disagree one point, this is a comfortable bike for Rider (not for Pelion). I am using it from last 3000 kms. Initially when i bought it first 100 km i faced wrist & neck pain but once i used to it, i loved its sitting position and handling. Its perfect 👌. U can't judge this bike without riding it at least 250 kms. After using this bike i don't like to ride any normal commute bike. It is like a master piece of engineering. Every thing is awsommme.
It's a sports bike and why are we expecting comfort. I own r15 from the last four years and i didnt have any problem. The low end torque feels a bit less but after 3K RPM it is awesome. Mileage is above 40 KMPL and even braking is great. Moreover the service charges are not high as well. So, please stop misleading people.
I am using R15 Motogp edition from the past 3 years, till now didn't have any back problems. Pillion comfortable is not there, I will agree. But servicing and maintenance cost is not that much costly. And the last reason is acceptable for not to buy R15 V2.
i have r15 v2 for 2 yrs . At first it took time to adjust the riding psture but now np. Its the best 150 cc bike its awseome . you ride it by yourself in real to feel it .
hey guys... i own an apache rtr 180.. but i would like to upgrade to a more powerful bike which doesn't burn my pocket as well... which one would you suggest??
1) I'm 6 feet tall, ride 30 kms daily to office in Chennai Traffic and I have never complained about it's comfort.. Only time I felt wrist pain was when I took a pillion in city traffic. If you are switching from an erect position bike, this will feel different in the first month, but once you get used to it, regular bikes will look funny while driving. 2) Pillion Comfort is bad, especially if you are riding fast. But are you sure you buy this bike for pillion? Fuck the pillion. 3) Lacks Low end punch? What is the bike that you are comparing this bike with? This bike is a killer when it comes to the 150cc Segment. I dare no 150 can match the performance of the R15. However if you are bringing in some maniac like duke or other regular 200's, yes this bike falls behind a bit in terms of low end torque.. 4) True it requires high maintenance costs and service charges. Met with an accident once, and I was charged 20K, costly spares. Got some 14K through insurance, but still that's too much for an overhaul. Maintenance of the bike is also costly. 5) Twin head-light is the main highlight of an R15. It makes other sub-3-Lakh bike owners ass burn on seeing R15 roll out with their twin headlights. Buy the twin projector head light option if you want a better throw. Yamaha showroom itself will provide you an option while buying. 6) 3.0? Seriously? Safe to bet nothing will be improved on the performance side. It's a 150 and it will always be a 150. But we can expect a refreshing look, atleast something has changed from the last 10 years.. But wait, the price could be more than the current R15.. Already 1.35 onroad seems costly. Are you willing to pay much more for a 150? Edit: On second thought, let me give you six reasons why to consider buying R15. 1) Still the best looking motorcycle at price of 1.35L on road. The R6 inspired tail coupled with the nimble delta-box frame in yamaha Blue tint is pure bliss to the eye. 2) Power delivery after 95Kmph, it's heaven. You cannot expect anything like that from a 150. Even at 120Kmph, no vibrations, the bike is buttery smooth, stable and still revving up. 3) Riding in heavy/moderate traffic. Some may call me wrong, but you only have to try. It's light weight, super flickable and is a lot of fun to drive swinging from one side of the road to the other. I don't have to say anything about it's cornering capabilities, the bike speaks for itself. 4) Absolutely no engine heating. Even the rider will stay cool both in peak traffic and at high speeds. When you ride a CBR250r or similar, you can actually feel the heat till your knees. And let's forgive Duke for making your leg-piece meal ready. 5) Worth the money. What is the bike that can replace an R15? It's unique. It's lovely. It's a girl-friend. 6) This bike unlocks the potential to scale up to your next bike. This could be something least, especially in a country like India. But for those who upgrade or got plans to upgrade, you can relate.
I agree with the last point.. rest are not so true. Comfort is not the reason for buying this bike. This bike is not slow in the city. One should ride slow to not become mr.India ;-) . This bike will position your body to upgrade to higher segment super sports bike. Maintaining is not all that required like bullets or other bikes. Not riding it for a week and still starts without issues. Only issue one faces is recklessly redlining it. And brake pad are like tissues.. yeah.. 2 years and still looks super 😎. Good video but the content 😌 all the best bro..
Seat is hard??get a soft cushioned seat...riding posture bitching??install aftermarket clipons with upperyoke configuration.. Pillion seat poor?? Better ditch the pillion... Or ... Go to welding shop... Lower the seat lock bracket... And then install it... Being a 150cc sportbike on those old times... It was a medical.. Uhh sorry ... Mechanical miracle to get these kind of bikes... These are treasures... And no matter after few years all gonna starve for r15 v2...

Right boss ...
I have an R15 and I totally agree with these reasons :) :) but that doesn't mean that I don't love my bike. A request to all the haters of this video ... Every bike has flaws, we have to accept them. This video is made in Fun nature .. No need to get sentimental over it.
R15 lover hit like😍😋
All points except first are true... No matter what isbthe riding position your body get used to it if you are riding regularly... and if you ride once in a while.. even Goldwing gonna give you fatigue..
i just unsubcribe you 😠😠
dont insult r15 🖕🖕
there r way much more reason to buy

The Main Reason is Quality😎
Saksham Shrestha lol 😂

the first team to clearly show the demerits of the bikes.....
that is true and a fantastic job...
very nice and funny interpretation of problems faced by R15 Owners
Than you buddy, did you share the video with your friends?

MotorBeam Proud Owner Indeed
Very honest review. Expecting more such videos from motor beam.
omfg tysm motor beam for making this video 😍😍😍
Most welcome.
11000 kms on my beloved r15 v2. It is a sports bike and has its own way of seating posture. You get used to it pretty fast. No high service cost at all. Please dont mislead people. R15 is not just a bike it is an experience. Give it a chance and the bike will grow on you. I love my r15 and wont trade it for any bike at all!
recently i sold my r15 and got fz25 for the same reason stated above. 😂
How is the FZ25 in performance in comparison to the R15?
MotorBeam It feels lot powerful even riding with a pillon. And city riding is a lot of fun now. The bike pulls like a train even past 110kmph. And doesn't loose momentum after deaccelerating, Means it picks up the power from where it was left. No shifting of gears required. Wind blast is a concern though.
Also the service interval is 5000 now, so peace of mind.
damn true pickup is slicky smooth i did 122 with pillon and 143 single. still r15 is expensive than fz25 lol
Lovenish Guleria you are right pickup is very good filters through traffic with ease. I did a 128 kph with a pillion who is in mid 50kg and 122 kph with a guy of 70+ kg and 133 kph solo. Is your bike stock?
hlw motor beam kindly lemme know the launch date of r15 v 3.O in india and also will it be launched in india?
By the end of the year.
this time we can cross! hahahahaha 😂😂
There is the Honda CBR150R.
Are u serious cbr150r......come on motorbeam NOT EXPECTED FROM U r15 is far better than cbr150 and more successful in market. There is hardly anY power in lower range .....
Give me 6 reasons why i should not punch you on the face!!??
Will that help you in any way?
Yea, that's way to go.. throw that litter (1:02) What a responsible journalist we have!!!
+Joel Ashirwadam of course we picked it up, that was just for shooting.
Well yea, that you didn't show, and that's not the way to do it. when you have an intro, you need an "outro" as well! No offence!
new 2017 rs 200 is best bikr milege 40 kmpl and top speed 152 and abs
all about bikes and car in hindi but it lacks the reliability
Engine is very woste bro
Race with r15 and pulsar 150bro and tell which bike is best
i really like the way of you motorbeam to show the reality of these bikes. it is really funny and very enjoyable. more funny video makes it more interesting and interactive.
Thanks a ton buddy, more coming.
motorbeam seriously hats off to the video..Thats a punch on the face to all the arrogant r15 v2 users ☺☺
Thanks Shivam.
B preet These are the disadvantages wat else you should call them if its a track bike then it should be used on the tracks not on the streets or long ride even i own a gixxer sf ☺
Shivam Ravi Srivastava so clearly you are against a much better bike than your SF.
Maheshwaran AJ Ya i have no problem in that atleast my sf is way more comfortable and mileage friendly thn r15 and in terms of built quality and engine both are japanese companies both are better and in terms of power torque r15 is a winner i have no problem in accepting that
the only reson i love this channel is that it really talks about bike problems we face in our daily lifes
every time I see your video I always concludes that your videos are most authentic ones.
+Rox films incredibly rox thank you buddy.
I'm using till today (09.12.20) 40000 km . I never felt any problem.because,
I service my bike after 70 days .
You have got used to the R15.
I think there's another disadvantage. Being a 150cc bike there is absolutely no need of the 6th gear. It would be better if R15 had 5 gears .
Many times i travel from Kanpur to Lucknow and didn't find any problem....
it is all about your taste for the sports bike, R15 is designed at all aspects of the international sports bike standerd.....
so which bike should u buy Dominar,FZ25,Duke 200,apache 200 or wait for the BMW and Hero bikes
3. No low end power? No problem for me! 😂 All I want is smooth and powerful 8-12k rpm!😂😂
4. Headlamps? Aftermarket projectors way to go! 😉
5. Service cost?
*Coughs coughs Bajaj and KTM! 😂😂
*Benelli just killed itself..
*Kawasaki are bringing parts via ckd.. it'll take time.. 😂
*Suzuki and Honda still suffering due to poor skilled labors!😂
hey as u promised when will comparison betweem rtr200,fz25 and ns 200 will come??
I disagree one point, this is a comfortable bike for Rider (not for Pelion). I am using it from last 3000 kms. Initially when i bought it first 100 km i faced wrist & neck pain but once i used to it, i loved its sitting position and handling. Its perfect 👌. U can't judge this bike without riding it at least 250 kms. After using this bike i don't like to ride any normal commute bike. It is like a master piece of engineering. Every thing is awsommme.
I just love the fact of Motorbeam that you guys spew the venom so effortlessly ....way to go !!!!
Thank you Chintu.
Iam a proud owner of yamaha r15 v.2..And i love the bike for what it is..No complaints.
#r15 #fever #forever
i think 6 reasons not to watch your channel instead of r15..my favourite r15 and it never let me down.
Thanks guys.
Keep up the Great content.
Thank you buddy.
I am using R15 Motogp edition from the past 3 years, till now didn't have any back problems. Pillion comfortable is not there, I will agree. But servicing and maintenance cost is not that much costly.
And the last reason is acceptable for not to buy R15 V2.
How many kms have you done?
Helpfully the next version can accommodate tall riders too.
i have r15 v2...
i love my v2...ita a awsm bike..u r right motorbeam...bt its a awsm bike...
Which one is your favorite?
A. Cbr 150r
B. R15 v3.0
C. Pulsar 220F
R15 ;p
I want to buy r15 but i don't know release date of bike in india
What's the exhaust you have at 1:30. Is it stock with air filter ? Please do tell
motor beam will the cbr 150r total face lift will be launching in india and is R125 available in india
R15 or fzs which better for daily use
i have r15 v2 for 2 yrs . At first it took time to adjust the riding psture but now np. Its the best 150 cc bike its awseome . you ride it by yourself in real to feel it .
What mileage do you get?
hey guys... i own an apache rtr 180.. but i would like to upgrade to a more powerful bike which doesn't burn my pocket as well... which one would you suggest??
Bro... which is better one rs200 or r15 v3 i have to buy one of these
I really appreciate your sincerity I about the details given about the bike 👍🏻👍🏻❤️️😍😘
plz suggest ns200 or 220..
Edit:
On second thought, let me give you six reasons why to consider buying R15.
You are used to the R15.
That servicing part is hilarious, lol!
can we have more of these things you hate series it's seriously awesome
Hey guys please help me planning to buy a bike which is better r15 v3 rc 200 2017 or duke 200 2017? Thanks :)
Please do a detailed review of the BS-IV CB Unicorn 160...n please highlight if the drop in power and torque figures has affected it's performance...
#motorbeam I'm looking forward to buy a bike and I'm confused a lot between Tvs apache rtr 200 4v and yamaha r15 v3, which one should I buy, I equally like both the bikes so please take a single name..?
Nothing is more sixer than R15v2 in the mid night when the lights goes on.
Bro is R15 v3 suitable for taller peoples bcoz I have an idea of getting v3 so is it suitable ?
Please make a review on Honda hornet 160r special edition and Honda Dio....
Which one will be R15 or RTR180 ( R15 is more costly then Apache 180)
