    Using r15 v2 for last 3 years and I have to say that the points reviewer has made about it are totally correct. Seating and riding position is uncomfortable only if constant braking and traffic maneuvering is done. Else on Highway you won't feel any discomfort. Can get upto 130 in no time and easy effort. Ride position and feedback is exceptional. And after all of hard and easy riding I'm getting upto 50 kmpl mileage. So with the fuel requirement of a scooter you can have a bike that can outrun many cars on Highways and also look cool. Only problem I have is with the sub par service of Yamaha

      +Paul James 50 kmpl? You gotta be high bro. And it's a shit bike with shit after service and it age very fast!

    • @pauljames8459
      @pauljames8459 9 лет назад +1

      +Utsav Atre sry if I am mistaken. I mentioned 50 kmpl to be the maximum mileage I've got at crusing around 90-110 kph. general traffic conditions u can expect about 35 while the average overall will be around 40-45

    • @yashdeepsinghahluwalia4536
      @yashdeepsinghahluwalia4536 8 лет назад +2

      its 50-55kmpl for me, cruising at 75-80 kmph.

    Yamaha R15 are considered a Supersport bike. So don't ever get the pillion problems issue on this. Supersport bikes doesn't have to carry passenger. Supersport bike or semi-Supersport should always have an aggressive riding position to add to the overall looks of the bike. If you want a sport bike designed for comfortable long street riding then get a Honda CBR 150R 2015 version.. But the CBR 150RR 2016 is more like the R15 now in terms of ergonomic.

    Love the quality of production and the presentation of your videos.
    I'd love it if you'll could review the Karizma as well. I know it's an old model and all.. but it's so cheap to buy (compared to the Yam R15 and the Honda 150) and the fact that it's almost 250cc with similar power specs.. I wonder how it stacks up... I had a Karizma for about 4 months and now I've moved to London.. I would like to see how the old babe compares with the new bikes on the block.. :)

    Keep up guys, you're doing a great job, anything you come up with i'm sure will be awesome and with cool soundtracks ;)
    I hope you can perform a Pulsar 200NS test, there is a lot of people expecting this bike to come hopefully 2013 in our country.

    i have already drove r15 v1 a lot of times but i have never touched v2, and now am planning to buy r15 so my question to you is that as you have stated in this video that v2 has gained its weight by 5 kgs so will that be a problem for me to control the bike inside city? which one do prefer for me to buy ,?

    Please PTR ask yamaha men to launch the awesome R125 Please i begg you

    Severely outclassed by the 200's available in India now within the same price range, with it's near impractical seating, it is now a track bike, not fit for daily use.

    This review is very well done and give a very good insights about the bike. I must say all your review videos are class. I watch Overdrive, AutocarIndia I like both of them. But your reviews can compete with US review sites or I must say does much better job. Keep up the good work guys. I am subscribing to your channel. Looking forward to see more and more reviews. Do buy it
      I bought this bike recently and it was my first bike.
      I love everything about it except the pillion seat ( ur butt starts to ache if u sit for a longer time)
      Talking abt the pain in the the palms it only happens during city rides when u constantly have to use the clutch but on highways i have had no problems at all.

    • @TheVBK13
      @TheVBK13 10 лет назад

      thnx bro but i bought the pulsar 200 ns
      even that is a prty gud bike.its actually very very fast...so those who are confused in between r15 and pulsar 200ns go for the ns...

    • @faizankazi5444
      @faizankazi5444 10 лет назад +7

      Ns is really a value for money bike
      My friend has it from the past couple of years , he has some complains abt it like the vibrations when u touch 100 km speed. And he also says that pulsar lasts well for arnd 5 years are so he says tht its not so durable , if u want a bike to use it fr 5 or 6 years pulsar is the one but if u want the bike to last for say 9 or 10 years yamaha is the one fr u , everything from the build quality to the engine is top notchh
      One more thing that r15 attracts a lot of eyeballs , u get really an awesome feeling when u r riding an r15 and everyone stares at u and passes comments saying bhai dekh r15
      I always had a dream from my childhood. To have a sports bike
      And all thanks to my father for fulfilling it

    I learned on a 150cc bike...........it doesn't matter, cause the first time u ride a bike u can't probably make differences in power and u become habituated after 2 or 3 days..........only reason to go for 125cc is fuel efficiency, otherwise if u want power, go for 250 cc

    You guys have amazing skillz i'll give you that... but the one thing that's missing is the catchy name. PTR "Power to the Rider" isn't really that catchy and it really doesn't reflect the amazing skills you guys have in this dept. You know just somthing like PoweRider or just replace the T with 2 like P2R or somthing if you catch my drift ;) Trust me, it will do you guys good cause I see you guys have a good future in this.. Ride hard m8s!

      Depends..if you have the additional cash u might want to take the cbr 250r but r15 has more bang for your buck.

      Amol Chipre cbr 300 is a beast..im looking to get it as well. But with higher cc comes lower mileage so if you are not bothered by low mileage figures then definitely go for it over other bikes..another suggestion would be the ktm duke 390 or the rc 390
