I’ve set up a chair hide in my small garden, I’ve set up some perches and a feeding station. I’ve planted teasles for the goldfinches. Got some great shots. Happy new year some more inspiration thanks
Great video Paul. Lokk forward to this years videos. BTW, yes dragons do exist and if you would like to get some photos come snd meet my Mother-In-Law 🤣🤣. Happy New Year 👍
Great video Paul and interesting to hear how you plan your year. Think the planner is a great creation and will definitely be using it. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with in the coming months. 👍😃
EXCELLENT! Happy New Year. My winter goals here in Montana are to plan for a snow storm for bison photos with snow covering the animal, winter otters on lake ice, and in fight photos of goldeneyes against an icy background. My spring goals are drake canvasbacks, wood ducks, cinnamon, green-wing, blue-wing teal, bison calves, lazuli bunting. My summer goals are common yellowthroats, grebes with chicks, short-eared owls, swans, mountain goats. My fall goals are short-eared owls, rutting elk and deer, bighorn rams.
Like baking a cake isn’t it ?? You need the ingredients and it’s exactly what you’re doing. One of the things I’m going to do this year is Bempton Cliffs, after watching your vid I’ve gotta do it. Good luck with your list and at the end of 2025 let us see how many you chalked off, Good luck for this year 👍
Less bird photography??? Oh that's just crazy talk Paul!!! Lol... Great video. This is something I have never done, year photography planning that is. My wife and I do plan our travel and camping for the year and of course on these trips there is bird (me) and wildlife (my wife) photography, but I haven't ever considered giving the level of thought to local photography as you do. Going to give it a try. Hope 2025 is a great year for you. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos throughout the year. Oh on collaboration....you, Espen H and Richard B. Maybe even a travel around video like the f4 project from a few years ago.
Can't help you on hey fever, other than a full hazmet suit. Still thinking on winter birds, though it won't be long before spring migrants start to arrive, ospreys usually by end of March. My March is taken up with hopefully tigers amongst other things in India

Some of my favorite subjects are butterflies on flowers and macro photography. Have a great 2025.
A great subject to spend time on. I will definitely be doing that in summer. Hoping for some new butterflies this year. Happy new year to you
Hares are always good from late February they often get distracted and don’t notice you.
Thank you. Yes I think that's a good time to start looking. Love hares!
