- We decided to do some minor hiking during a getaway weekend in MS. Tishomingo State Park has a lot to offer. Besides several hiking trails, they offer cabin rentals, campground sites, pavilion rentals, fishing and canoeing. This was a perfect weekend to give my knee a try since that last hiking trip ended in an injury. I think it's about back to normal. Still need to be careful how far I push it for now.

I love all the little caves!
It's a really neat area. The cabins were nice and had wood burning fireplaces, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I'm sure we will be back. There are more trails to wander on.

Love Tishamingo! Hubby and I rented a canoe and took it on the creek. Got caught in a surprise summer rainstorm and it was so cold on the water. Loved every minute of that trip! You will have to go back and enjoy the creek.🥾🏕️
I hope we can take our kayaks and do our own little trip down the creek. I'm not a fan of canoes. I flipped one several years ago and won't get back in one. The creek looked awesome! The cabin we stayed in was perfect. Had a wood burning fireplace that was lovely. I didn't video any of the cabin for some reason. My brain wasn't working I guess. Lol!

We may go back and tent camp so the dogs can enjoy it too. There are more trails to check out.
