First off, I have to say I love seeing a girl using power tools! I renovated a house with an ex and he was giving me the whole 'little woman' thing and yet didn't have a clue how to use anything. Sit down and hold my coffee boy. Those rotary saws scare the shit out of me though. Thanks for these tips I'm going to be restoring my grandma's 60s louis xiv style chest of drawers today. Never used spraypaint or gold leaf before! How many cans of paint did you go through with that?

That stain, especially when applied on top of paint, would eventually fade and will leave your hands dirty from stain when touching it. You need to give it final protective 2 thin coats of clear warnish. Other than that, it's a nice little makeover.

When you spray paint that piece of furniture in your garage (I just assumed that it’s a garage), how messy did it get? Hey girl. Love it. Great color choices!! If havent .. try the blue work towels by "Scott Shop Original" at Walmart. Cheaper and more durable than paper towels. They work great 👍❤

I think it adds a depth of color that you can’t achieve with just the spray paint. It highlights the turned legs. I like it.
