@@tagalogkurt oo nga, you got the AFAM price! So sorry that you got ripped off. It’s so disheartening that some people take advantage of the foreigners. Several years ago, my twin sister and I got ripped off in Milan, Italy too. A taxi driver charged us 300euros from the airport to the hotel, which should have been only around 80euros. We did not know until we found out later. But it was late at night and we were so tired from our long-haul flight, so we never argued with his price and we gave the taxi driver the 300euros. Lesson learned from that experience.
Usually those kind of tarpaulin are just for the SRP but sometimes stores increase the price by a bit. Even a similar ice cream shop near me has a tarpaulin but the price are different from it. Those tarpaulin are probably just there to block to sun, attract customers, menu for customers to look at.
Ading Kurt (since I’m way older than you!) - I love your genuine interactions with local Filipinos. Keep sharing these videos as I’m increasing my Tagalog skills. Left PI when I was a toddler and grew up hearing Ilocano in our home.
salamat sa vlog kuya! also i really like the colour filter on your vids... it looks like how my memories of the philippines FEEL if you know what i mean
Hi Kurt👋 Thank you for always sharing/posting about your experiences in the Philippines. Stay safe always and enjoy the HOT weather of the Phil.😄 keep posting Kurt.🙌😎
I commented to you a few weeks ago about one day retiring in the Philippines... one of my concerns is the unforgiving constant hot weather. I commend you for being able to walk the barangays in that stiffling heat
Wow your tagalog is great! I like your laugh too... I'm trying to learn some tagalog because I have filipino relatives, and it's very interesting because it's very different from european and english languages. But I struggle a little. What did you find the most difficult to learn about tagalog? Is it the verbs and how to conjugate them maybe?
I do miss some of these ice creams. Our little Asian market in the next town has a few of these and some other Magnolia brand flavors. Bless you for putting up with all that heat & humidity. 😅 ✌🏽
Hi TagalogKurt, are you the same guy as the one in here: ruclips.net/video/tOZ0Tlyl_3s/видео.htmlfeature=shared ? If so, good if not it's all good , too because I love your down-to-earth..ness which I came upon randomly. so, I am now your new Pinoy subscriber from Toronto :)

Hahah I love that you used "ading" because I use that all the time but there's no Tagalog equivalent dba???
@@tagalogkurt I don’t think there’s an equivalent word for Ading in Tagalog. 🤔. You know more Tagalog than I do!
The bottom part of cornetto is the most awaited delicious part of that icecream, that's why it's all time favorite of most pinoys. 🤗
Having a heat wave here in Europe

You should try a similar watermelon slice ice cream by Aice, an ice cream company founded in Singapore. Personally I like it better than Selecta

Looks like ate doubled the price for you. It says on the tarpaulin that the watermelon slice is 10 and the boom boom is 14. LOL!
May tip pa sya. Sana wag naman magsamantala
@@rosariobuenconsejo5913 True, they just can't help to give the "foreigner price". 🤦♂
Si Ate gave him “ Joe’s price”
Or many many thing story
Sari sari means many many store 😅
I thought you were there for Ice Candy and Ice Buko not for the brand ice creams!
Lol everything 30 pesos then each item was something different
Cold ice cream? I never thought ice cream can be warm. 😂
Funny ?
