line-of-action...
The tools for linocut are more of that V and U shape-the handles are also much more comfy and it’s much simpler! Speedball has a handy tool that has a bunch of different tips inside and you can just change them out! And you can find very wee tiny v ones where you can make TINY tiny stamps or details!
Ohh that sounds awesome! I'll have to look into them then :) I honestly just went with the tools that were in the set I was given for this first one😂
these turned out so so good!! the fox idea is so cool :)
Maybe you're supposed to put the print paper on the table first and then the lino on top of it? And use the tool on the backside of the lino, not the paper? I've never done this at home, just in art class where we had like a big roller for that so I'm really not sure, but we also put the lino on top of the paper there, that's why i thought of this :) It would also make sense to use it like this so you don't make holes in the paper with those tiny spikes which can easily catch in the lino cuts like that :) Amazing video btw, the prints all look stunning! ♡
it turned out amazing!
lineart is so hard but yours looks so amazing WHAT
the vibe is sso good SJAKAJ
Ahh thank youuu! You are so sweet T^T
@@Tamagojani 😭💕❤️
@@Tamagojani no u
We did this in school once and at first I was worried about all the details you put in your design but it turned out great :D
I think it would be easier if you put the paper on the table and then laid the lino sheet on top of it tho :D
I'd love to see you explore this medium more and also try other materials like wood or so ^^
Love your Art, you are so talented!! ☺️♥️
You are amazing I love your art
Lineart is probably my least favorite thing but your so good at it! Also I love the editing 💛 and this is really cool now I want to try it I really like the texture on the wolf
Ahh thank you so much Pdawg! ;-;
technically you can use the woodcutting tools but they are generally a bit flatter and wider than lino cutting tools, but usually you need tools made for lino cutting. you can get the cheap generic speedball plastic cutter that works fine, but you can also get really expensive tools for cutting. if you cut away parts you dont mean too, there is a little trick to sometimes fix it. woodfiller on the area accidentally cut away can sometimes can work to fix it. wood carving does often give you different printed textures, and depending on the wood, the grain shows up in the print.
and ack! stop cutting towards yourself!
Ohh all of that is really good to know. Thank you so much for the advice!! These tools were the ones that came in the set I was gifted.. so I will have to look into getting some different ones 😅
It loookss so good 💖💖
Turned out pretty good 😱 im smazed it was just your first try, i recently got back with lino so lets see how this goes... 😂 Only doing stamps for now, maybe some shirts pockets printing ♥ loved watching the video
i love using lino cut! i’ve used it 4xs before in my life and it’s so soothing and the controlling is also a fun to see! the end result is always worth the long hours 💕✨
Yes it was 100% worth it!! Can't wait to make another one soon :3
