I considered this chair but I don't think mesh chairs are for me, I've finally ordered myself a Steelcase Gesture + headrest after spending far too long in a "gaming" chair. Can't wait for it to arrive ! Your videos helped me decide, so thank you 😆
I've never bought a single Razr product, none of their keyboard, mice and other gaming products entice me. However, I think that their best product is actually a pair of ANC headphones. It's recommended as a budget alternative to Sony XM4s by Rtings.
I guess the silver lining of this chair is that it won't accidentally turn your PC on when you move it slightly since it's not connected to Razer Synapse. The frame digging into the body at the seat and the back seems like a big miss. Thanks for keeping it Ahnest Dan.
Razer recently released the Iskur V2. Have you had a chance to test it yet? Curious how it compares with this Fujin Pro. I know they're two different styles, but one has to be better than the other. right?
Bought this chair, would never by anything from Razer. Full of issues from receptions. Completely unusable now. Inexistent support. To never even consider.
Hey! I really like it. Only downside is that the headrest can be a bit finicky. They sponsored the video here: ruclips.net/video/D5LyzO1X-VI/видео.html It's not as soft as the Eames Lounge, but that could be a good thing - felt more supportive and I can go from upright to ultra lounge!
Brilliant review. Remember guys, smash the like button. 10k views and under 300 likes, this video has saved a lot of us from a poor decision. Some might love this chair, and some won't.
Have you tried the Lifeform chairs from Relax the Back? Apparently everyone says they're amazing but they're even more expensive than Herman Millers and there are hardly any reviews of them on RUclips.
*Sigh, another shameful money grab from Razer by overpricing an otherwise mediocre chair. As far as mesh chairs go, I still think the Aeron is the gold standard.
Hi today i founnd out my local shop has the asus rog destrier in stock would you still recommend it over the razer fujin in terms of comfort ? cuz the warranty on both that i can get are bad.
Unrelated. But I need your thoughts. I'm about to buy an used Herman Miller Celle in India. I'm not sure if the dotted plastic back will hold well in ergonomic aspect. Pls let me know if it's worth it. The chair was manufactured in 2017.
I was looking forward to this and it is not ideal. Im in the lookout for a mesh chair to rotate to during summer but its hard to find an affordable one that ticks a lot of boxes.
Yeah...I was hoping for more considering the price point! Refurb Aeron is the way I'd go if you're looking for more affordable mesh! If you're willing to spend a little more, Crandall Office sells one that is totally cleaned and sanitized, common broken parts replaced, and a 12 yr warranty on the entire chair! Link in the description and pinned comment!!
Tough question...I don't really have daily drivers anymore bc I'm almost always testing a chair. I have like 4-5 chairs on hand that surround my sitting area for when I'm done testing. These are the ones I don't put away bc I like them so much.... - HM Embody with Atlas Headrest - Haworth Fern w/ Atlas Headrest - Anthros - Headrest Humanscale Freedom
idk why he complains about the warranty. Asus destrier has 2-3 years warranty. HM has 5 years warranty on fabric and it doesnt cover normal wear and tear of using the chair. same as steelcase
The reason why I was more harsh was because the Destrier costs $150 less than the Fujin Pro and the mesh felt better. As for HM warranty, I believe you misread HM's warranty (as many people do, so you're not alone). If you read their warranty, there are certain fabrics that have 5 year, and others that have 12 year. Read carefully (HM's warranty policy below) when it says "EXCEPTIONS COVERED UNDER 12-YEAR WARRANTY INCLUDE...". The Aeron's material is called 8Z Pellicle, which does have 12 year warranty. All of their popular office chairs all have fabrics covered by 12 year warranty (e.g. Balance, Rhythm, and Sync are on the Embody line, etc) 5 years Herman Miller proprietary fabrics applied to seating products (exceptions covered under 12-year warranty include: Ace, AireWeave™ 2, Aristo, Balance, Crepe, Dex™, Duo, Epic, FLEXNET™, Intercept, Interweave 2, Leather, Lyris 2™, MCL Leather, Marvel, Mercer, Monologue, 8Z Pellicle®, Rhythm, Sequel, Strata, Summit, Sync, Whisper , and proprietary textiles applied to Workspace products); Sayl® knit back cover
Thanks for the cover on this chair you made me want to save up for the Embody, I have similar preferences to yours with chairs and stuff, I also noticed one video you said you like your desk at 71cm which is the same for me haha
My .00001 cents on ShortCircuit is that I think it's meant to be more of an Unbox Therapy like channel - just checking out cool stuff with a hype-everything attitude. Looking at it more charitably, I've realized that I have different thoughts now than I did on on a lot of my older chair reviews (from when I first started reviewing chairs). The reason why is because I've learned more about chairs, but more importantly, I have a LOT more chairs to compare other chairs to. Chairs, like everything else, is crazy relative. You have no idea what's good until you discover things that are far worse and far better. I'm thinking of re-reviewing a lot of those chairs in 2024 - esp with all the info (and chairs) I have now. I think I have over like $30k of chairs in my studio....lol
Good honest review! Mesh chairs aren't for everyone, and they definitely take a while to get used to no matter the style or brand... I have found with ergonomic chairs, in "most" cases you get what you pay for. If possible, do your research and don't rush your decision! Cheers - Jass.

The warranty tells us everything we need to know about their quality.
Acceptable at maybe half the price, but not at $1k.
The problem is, even at $500, there are still really solid alternatives with better warranty (3-5 years)
@@Ahnestly You're right, guess it's a pass on this chair. It doesn't help that the chair design looks like a $20 office chair without the headrest.

Ya sorry Razer but that's a big miss with that price and warranty, Stick to notebooks and Peripheral's.
Yeahhh it's unfortunate.
The main problem of this chair is that Razer forgot the RGB to help with the lumbar support 😅 This is classic overpriced razer stuff as usual.

The 1 year warranty is a complete joke. Razer should be ashamed trying to sell a chair at this price with that kind of support.
The stretching and moving inside the chair is really not a concern. Just get up and walk around for a bit, then sit back down.
