Some useful and related backtest data for everyone:
-Expanding pivots[choch after choch]: 63% chance of continuation of last trend you were one
-Large legs which the current leg(on pullback) make at least one inside structure: 60% in favor of the last avalable Bos/Choch direction
-Vertically large legs(high volatility) with current leg making at least one inside structure: 63% reveals of the Vertical leg direction
-you can add 14% more winner trades(5RR) if you lengthen the extreme OB with the previous candle if it shows push (like 2 pinbars with oppsite wicks) at the cost of abit less RR for some trades but it also means more abit more losing trades could also win because of larger SL (77% of OBs don't need to be lengthened but could be)
THESE WERE TESTED FOR AT LEAST 5RR TRADES, BOS WITH WICK ACCEPTED BUT CHOCH ONLY WITH BODY.

Hey man I'm confused, do you take trades with Bos by wick or only by body break?
Do you also move your Bos/choch line with wick breaks, to that wick until you get a body break then confirme the change of trend?
19:02 on 4h you marked a black pinbar for htf POI without bos or choch, is there rule for this exception?
Do you consider the internal choch as change of trend? I also get confused just like yourself here 35:05

your psychology, and mine are very similar, we even share a similar outlook as to entry and exit model, i feel i felt the same way as you this week, over analysis which leads to paralysis analysis.
ive summed it up also to my hatred for being wrong. I always called myself non competitive, realizing i dislike my competitive nature so much that i wouldn't engauge in competition. The TA part of trading i find to be calm cool and effective. Me myself and I, are my own worse enemy.
Ah mate, I feel for you! I actually said me myself and I earlier in the week when describing my emotions 😂. Gonna see a hypnotherapist again soon to try and just get rid of whatever it is thats holding me back sometimes

bro i knew all about the same strategy, but i always scare to go in the trades like you do, but with ur back testing videos i got so confident to take the trades even i think should not take and left off, and even with that u still get very good percentage profits, thanks and i am so glad i found ur channel and gave it time to see ur videos even the videos so long but so enjoying to watch, thanks again keep doing and wish u have more profits in the future cheers.

Absolutely awesome these backtesting videos. Everybody does them but I get no value from. But yours is honest and real. And thought process is king.
Btw. The music in the background is sometimes annoying. I hope that’s the right word in English. I try to concentrate. Sitting here with paper pen, to take notes. And the music takes my attention. Do if possible, no music. But maybe I am the only one.

Thank you so much. Yeah, its the spreads. Because I tend to use tight stops a higher spread just makes it more risky

I risk between 2 - 10% a trade (usually 4%).
I used to risk 1% but changed it right up when I realised the maths allowed for more

Try and get less emotional every time I see it
In this or your last video, you passively mention how "you thought you could weed out some of the bad trades by using TA and price action." I think this principal is what is leaving me with paralysis analysis. keeping me out of some trades and missing others. My desire to control outcome is messing with the aspect of the strategy that is beautiful, many order blocks, tight stop, lots of opportunity. This back test video proves this in contrast to our similar trading week. We tried to control outcome, and get left in the dust, or stomped on. where as in the back test you just swing for the fences, sometimes u strike some times you get home runs, but it pays to take almost every shot.

in my opinion, why your result are not suitable with your backtesting is because of all time trading, you trade all time(I know that you use alerts), in my opinion is better to trade one session a day with 2/3 pairs than 1 pair for all day.

I think the strike rate can really be nice for scalping... Do you have any tested data on the strike rate?
Yes - some people in FTR scalp only. I find it harder to get a better Win Rate, but it is generally less stressful

I dont. I use an inside bar indicator to highlight them, but OBs are manual
Hey man! I really like your backtesting videos, watched all of them already, btw I have 1 year experience with smc and I am quite familiar with market structure/ supply in demand and I was asking if you can give me a clear way to become profitable with your strategy(only using your free content)
Just keep watching vids man, it will click,,watch the older ones too, it helps seeing the strategy evolve
what about using a trailing stop loss? I know that in some cases price will hit sland go straight to tp but maybe it better to have a higher winrat

ok, quick update. I am in a trade right now, I marked up on Monday, I think. pending order. gold. I thought I will not get in, but I came home 5 minutes ago and I am in the trade. ON POINT!!!!!! 15m OB 2035.94, if you want to check on GOLD. no drawdown, goes straight down. I think I have to do some little changes for gold on the SL, because gold wants to spike/long wicks sometimes. 1:5 RR to next zone, at this zone there is the next POI 15m OB.
I think about to implement a little imbalance, If there is one next to the OB. for the mark ups.

Yes - as the chap below said - the spreads are torturous when using prop firms. Personal account not a problem. Some of the guys trade exclusively the 5m and 1h, or the 1m and 15m. I do the 1m, m15, h4 and daily. Though this week I didnt look at the 1m
Obviously you are passionate and successful but I find some of the content confusing and lacking in clarity. Any chance you could slow it down and explain in greater detail the steps you are taking. Thanks for videos though.

Yes mate, there are a couple on my channel from about a year ago
Honestly the more I watch your videos the more I get confused… I don’t understand why sometimes you chose not to pay attention to a clear ChOch and sometimes you trade some ChOCh that seem almost irrelevant (at least for me)…for example at the minute 9:54 there is a clear change of character to the down side from a 4h zone and you just completely ignore it, but at 11:37 you notice that smaller change of character which is really a minor one compared to the other one and yet you trade it. I hope you’ll see this message one day, id really love to understand how you decide it.
because he is human and we dont see everything and not everyone is as vigilant and aware as others..
