Hi Paul, thank you for the new videos, as always they're are gem packed. Can you explain why did you take this OB 24:50 and what does it have to do with condensing the chart? It has no gap and the bos was barely with body, also the wicks were long on the opposite side.
Thank you - good question. just the condensing of orders into the area-made it more of a powerful zone because other people would be looking at it also

Hey paul, thanks for another backtesting video!! Question why did you take the IB OB around 27:15? There was no break of the 15m high like you mentioned, and price action is already looking choppy for the one trade you're currently in; is that really a trade you would consider in live trading?
Hey mate, thank you. I'm not sure. I know that with it being an IB it'd likely be the last holding point though its weak. Depends what account I was using. Personal - take it all day long. Prop account - probably not

i fidn myself using stop orders after the rejection of the ob to the upside/downside as a confirmation entry whats your take on this Paul or should i just use a limit order instead?
If it breaks past the OB SL the OB is no longer valid.
The confirmation retest (bos) after OB can be done with Limit if needed. Stop always better but just time consuming
Would you mind creating a playlist of your basic terminologies of things like BOS, CHOCH, Imbalance, Order block. Personally I find them different than others who explain these.

Ah sorry mate. This is for the FTR members only. It's specific to parts of the advanced version of the strategy
Idk how you decide which set up to take and which to ignore , but I backtested this Strat for a month straight on last 6 months of data and it doesn’t work. Like at all. It just keeps on loosing money, slowly and painfully…
Idk if there is something I don’t do right, but I literally watched and rewatched all of backtesting vids and implemented all of your rules and it still falls apart.
you have to be picky mate or else bots can do this
Take pro-trend only mate. Look for imbalance before the OBs. Set 3 targets to begin with and log everything. The strategy cannot fail
It’s hit and miss for sure. Strategies with a 50% win rate or better are so much easier to use.

january has been a horrible month, none of my strategies were working on any settings, even my favourite london breakout strategy that has on average 75% winrate, was down to 45% and at a loss
It was brutal mate. I traded badly myself. -8.2% - didn't pick up a single winner. (Cancelled 3 winning orders). Was personally a tough time off the charts so just wasn't in the right frame.

This is exactly why you need to always factor in fundamentals into your strategy somehow. If you had factored fundamental analysis in you would have know exactly why most pairs in forex and indices were range bound throughout January.
